Chapter 39 The Impending Danger

Chapter 39 The Impending Danger

"Oh my god, Mr. Sang, you finally woke up!"

The special assistant was so excited when he saw Sang Chiyou open his eyes that he sat up directly. The special assistant hurriedly stopped him, "Mr. Sang, please lie down first. I'll call the doctor to come and check on you."

"No."

The special assistant had just turned around and taken two steps when he looked back and saw Sang Chiyou directly pull out the infusion needle.

"Who did it?" Sang Chiyou asked.

"Mr. Sang, are you referring to the person who delivered the potion? Professor Yi sent someone to deliver it."

Sang Chiyou was silent for a moment, "He's not that kind."

The special assistant was a little embarrassed. He seemed to have just seen Sang Chiyou roll his eyes. He quickly sorted out the situation and explained, "It might be that Professor Yi's friends persuaded him. I'm not sure. Should I go ask them?"

At this moment, the phone rang. Sang Chiyou took the phone from the bedside table, glanced at the name and answered:

"Is he dead?" The voice on the other end was flat.

Sang Chiyou looked calm, "Who asked you to do this?"

"You know only a handful of soothing alphas. Who do you think it is?"

Sang Chiyou glanced at his special assistant, who immediately left the room tactfully. Sang Chiyou walked to the window, and the morning sunlight shone into his crimson eyes, making them exceptionally clear.

"Where is he?"

Yi Yuan: "In my arms."

There was no sound on the other end of the phone, but Yi Yuan didn't pay any attention. He glanced at Jiang Chaoyang, who was curled up beside him, and gently wiped away the tears on his face with his fingers. "Teacher Jiang is tired and has fallen asleep."

Yi Yuan lowered his eyes and looked at the sleeping person, "You knew that I would emit four kinds of pheromones during my susceptible period, but you still stayed."

"So what?" Sang Chiyou asked.

"He's being targeted by the SA agency. Although it's better than nothing, I suggest you go and have a good talk with them."

"Know."

"Don't think about imprisoning him. I know what you're thinking."

Sang Chiyou didn't answer and hung up the phone.

Yi Yuan put away his phone. At this moment, there was a gentle knock on the door. His expression changed slightly and he let go of Jiang Chaoyang's body.

“Knock knock—”

The knock on the door sounded again.

When Jiang Chaoyang woke up, he was immediately shocked by the scene before him.

Seeing the unfamiliar environment and luxurious decoration, Jiang Chaoyang concluded that this was definitely not a hotel, nor was it Yi Yuan's bedroom.

He sat up, and suddenly the words "Early in the morning, the president woke up from his 300-square-meter bed" began to play in his mind. Before he could sort out his thoughts, a woman pushed the door open and walked in.

"Mr. Jiang, are you awake?"

Jiang Chaoyang looked at her and opened his mouth but didn't say anything.

Why is Sang Chiyou's nanny here?

"Is this Sang Chiyou's home?" Jiang Chaoyang asked.

The nanny nodded. "It's Mr. Sang's other residence. Mr. Jiang must be hungry. I'll go make you some food. Please wait."

Jiang Chaoyang was full of doubts. Who sent him to Sang Chiyou?

He threw off the quilt and got out of bed. The first thing he did was to open the curtains and look at the environment outside. There were no buildings around. It was remote and quiet.

Jiang Chaoyang pushed open the door and walked out, and saw the man on the balcony at a glance.

The other person was lying on a recliner with his eyes closed. His long legs were almost too long to fit in the bed. The sunlight shone generously on him, outlining the deep and three-dimensional contours of his face.

Jiang Chaoyang stopped beside the recliner. Sang Chiyou was sleeping soundly. He finally reached out and gently patted the other's shoulder.

As soon as the touch fell, the person on the recliner opened his eyes almost instantly.

The sunlight shines directly into the open eyes, reflecting a purple galaxy-like luster with a hint of laziness of just waking up.

"Why am I here?" Jiang Chaoyang asked.

Sang Chiyou didn't get up immediately, still maintaining a half-lying position, his eyes locked on Jiang Chaoyang. He spoke lazily, "SA Agency went to Yi Yuan's house yesterday, so he had someone bring you out."

Jiang Chaoyang understood, so Sang Chiyou was helping him. "So how are you now? Do you still need to take medicine?"

Sang Chiyou nodded slightly.

Jiang Chaoyang frowned, "It can't be cured?"

"I can't live without medicine anymore." Sang Chiyou said indifferently.

Jiang Chaoyang silently pitied him, turned around and walked towards the door, "Then I'll go first."

Jiang Chaoyang pressed the door handle, but found that it didn't move at all. He suspected that he didn't use enough strength, so he tried again, but couldn't push the door open at all.

He raised his head and asked Sang Chiyou: "Is your door lock broken?"

"No." Sang Chiyou closed his eyes again.

Jiang Chaoyang was puzzled. He tried a few more times, and after making sure it wasn't his fault, he walked back to him and said, "Your lock is really broken. Call someone to fix it. I have to go back."

"You'll live here."

"?What's the meaning?"

Sang Chiyou half opened his eyes and pulled his hand. Jiang Chaoyang was forced to bend down and look into those slightly sleepy eyes.

"The SA agency already knows your whereabouts. Since you're staying with me, they won't take action for the time being."

Jiang Chaoyang's vigilance was raised. "How can I be sure that you are not in cahoots with them? What if they come looking for me later?"

Sang Chiyou seemed to be stimulated by the sun, and his eyes were filled with tears. Jiang Chaoyang thought he was crying, and asked in confusion: "Why are you crying again?"

Sang Chiyou:?

"I'm just afraid that you are from the SA organization. After all, you are an S-level, and I can't really trust you." Jiang Chaoyang said.

The air froze for a moment.

The haziness in Sang Chiyou's eyes was instantly wiped away, and the harmlessness and laziness disappeared without a trace, as if everything was a disguise. The fingers that were casually placed on Jiang Chaoyang's wrist suddenly tightened.

"you……"

The exclamation was still stuck in his throat when an irresistible force pulled him forward. Jiang Chaoyang fell into the recliner. Before he could steady himself with his hands, his thigh was suddenly grabbed and dragged down, and he fell onto the recliner.

Sang Chiyou faced the light, his purple eyes, trapped in the thick shadows, no longer showing any warmth. He slowly leaned forward and said:

"You're no longer safe."

"...Then what's the point of me staying?"

Sang Chiyou didn't say anything, just hugged him quietly and closed her eyes.

The sun shone on Jiang Chaoyang's body, but he didn't feel warm at all. He started to feel cold from between his fingers until it spread to his whole body. He couldn't tell what emotion he was expressing when he spoke:

"So, you are all from the SA agency, right?"

"I'm not." said Sang Chiyou.

Jiang Chaoyang sighed and let Sang Chiyou hold him to sleep. He noticed that the nanny ran away just after setting up the dishes. "You get up first. You have to let me go to eat, right?"

Sang Chiyou still didn't let go, "Did you help Yi Yuan get through his susceptible period?"

"Did he tell you?" Jiang Chaoyang said indifferently, "After all, he helped me make the antidote, so I have to repay him, right?"

"Then why did you save me?" Sang Chiyou asked.

This question stumped Jiang Chaoyang. He and Sang Chiyou were not very familiar with each other, and she volunteered to use her pheromones to save him. This seemed to have a purpose no matter how you looked at it.

Jiang Chaoyang simply said, "Since I'm greedy, how about giving me some of your group's shares?"

"Can."

Sang Chiyou answered very quickly, without even thinking, and Jiang Chaoyang had no idea what he was doing.

"Anything else?" Sang Chiyou asked.

"...I'm just kidding, let me go eat first."

Jiang Chaoyang's legs were completely stuck, forming an extremely dangerous posture. His knee was pressing against the softest part of his inner thigh, and Jiang Chaoyang didn't dare to move at all.

"You can be a little greedier."

Sang Chiyou rested one hand on the back of the recliner, looking down at the person trapped beneath him:

"Wouldn't it be better to choose me?"

Jiang Chaoyang: "..."

That's not what he meant!
