Chapter 53 Taking Away the S-Class Inhibitor
Jiang Chaoyang was worried, but couldn't find the person he was looking for, so he had to go to the study to relieve his boredom.
The study was larger than expected. Jiang Chaoyang walked slowly along the bookshelves, his eyes scanning the obscure titles on the spines.
Just as he passed through the passage between two rows of bookshelves, his vision became much wider. On the dome was a simulated starry night scene, so realistic that Jiang Chaoyang could not tell the difference between the real and the fake.
He looked around and caught a glimpse of the person lying on the table out of the corner of his eye.
Jiang Chaoyang paused.
The man rested his face on his arm, the soft light illuminated the dark shadows under his eyes, and a coat was draped over the back of the chair.
Jiang Chaoyang silently withdrew his gaze, as if he had seen nothing, and turned to walk towards the second floor.
Yu Siran woke up.
He slowly raised his head, his eyes sleepy.
Maintaining the same posture for a long time made his neck and shoulders a little stiff. He moved his shoulders and suddenly stopped.
He turned his head and looked behind him.
The coat that was originally draped over the back of the chair was now covering him.
Jiang Chaoyang is trying to understand a book about pheromone sensitivity.
His brows were tightly furrowed, and those professional terms made him dizzy. Jiang Chaoyang rubbed his swollen temples and couldn't concentrate at all.
He simply put it back, but accidentally bumped into the book next to it, and the book fell down.
Jiang Chaoyang was about to move away when a hand suddenly reached out from his shoulder and steadily caught the book.
Jiang Chaoyang paused and looked to his side. The hand that came into view was slender and distinct, with smooth and clear finger bones, and the exposed wrist was connected to the dark cuffs.

A man stood behind him. The distance between the bookshelves was not wide, which shortened the distance between the two of them. Jiang Chaoyang could even smell the clean scent on him.

Si Gongce: "Remember to pay for any damage."

Si Gongce put the book back and just turned around, but his steps suddenly stopped. When he turned sideways and lowered his head slightly, the mirror chain shook slightly. Si Gongce looked at his hand that was caught.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"explain."
"Where is your oldest man? I need something from him."
The scene suddenly became quiet.
Si Gongce looked at him deeply, and after two seconds of silence, he spoke: "We are not interested in comparing sizes, so we don't know."
Jiang Chaoyang was puzzled: "Jun Shilin said that there is someone with the greatest power here. Isn't that person your boss?"
Si Gongce paused as he was leaving. He turned sideways and looked at Jiang Chaoyang who was standing there. "What do you want to do with him?"
"Nothing, I just want to discuss something with him."
Si Gongce took a book from the bookshelf and placed it on his head. Jiang Chaoyang didn't understand why, so he caught the book that slipped from his head.
Si Gongce said: "Read more and talk less."
Jiang Chaoyang: "..."
Si Gongce seemed unwilling to say anything more to him and just left.
Jiang Chaoyang was a little troubled. He asked several people, but no one was willing to tell him where the person was.
Jiang Chaoyang walked around and returned to the first floor.
He found Yu Siran still sitting at the desk, but he was awake.
Jiang Chaoyang had evil thoughts in mind and walked over quietly.
Just as it was about to touch his shoulder, a cold hand suddenly grabbed Jiang Chaoyang's wrist.
The force of the clenching was so strong that Jiang Chaoyang felt his bones ache. He gasped. Yu Siran loosened his hand after hearing the sound. He looked at Jiang Chaoyang behind him:
"Why is it you?"
Jiang Chaoyang glanced at his reddened hand and put it behind his back without leaving any trace: "What are you looking at?"
Yu Siran pinched his brows and said, "Nothing."
Jiang Chaoyang heard that his voice was not good and asked, "Are you feeling unwell?"
"No."
Jiang Chaoyang didn't ask any more questions. He pulled out a chair and sat down next to him. He glanced at the book in front of Yu Siran, which contained information about pheromone adaptation and fusion.
Jiang Chaoyang raised his eyes and looked at his profile.
After a while, Yu Siran closed the book. He and Jiang Chaoyang looked at each other: "Why are you looking at me?"
Jiang Chaoyang pointed under his eyes and said, "Your dark circles were very heavy before, why haven't they faded at all now? Haven't they developed an inhibitor yet?"
Yu Siran said nothing, picked up the book and left.
Seeing this, Jiang Chaoyang followed him and said, "Are you going to the lab? I'll go with you."
Yu Siran paused and said nothing more.

Fortunately, he was not prohibited from going back up there, so he could try to get information from Dr. Yu.
After helping him several times, Yu Siran had tacitly agreed that he should stay here and would not drive him away, but Jiang Chaoyang never found a chance to speak up.

He used a syringe to extract all the liquid and placed it in a sealed chamber.
He took off his gloves and made a phone call.
"The first version of the S-level inhibitor is ready, and we need to find someone to test its effects." Yu Siran pulled the chair next to him and sat down, leaning back into the chair.
Jiang Chaoyang waited until he hung up the phone before asking, "Then you can have a good sleep?"
"I'm not sure if it will be effective yet. We have to wait until they are in the susceptible period and try it." Yu Siran closed his eyes.
Seeing an opportunity, Jiang Chaoyang walked behind the chair and said, "Look, I've helped you so many times. I have a question that I need your answer urgently."

"Where's your boss?"

Suddenly, the phone rang. Yu Siran did not answer Jiang Chaoyang's question, but answered it.

"You want me to go?"

Jiang Chaoyang once again heard something wrong in his voice.
Jiang Chaoyang walked to the door with the packaged inhibitor. He looked back at Yu Siran who was sleeping on the chair, hesitated for a few seconds, and then walked back.
He paid attention to whether there were any pheromones in the air, and after confirming that there was no problem, he reached out and touched Yu Siran's forehead.
No fever.
Jiang Chaoyang thought he was overthinking it and left the laboratory.
Not long after Jiang Chaoyang left, Yu Siran opened his eyes.
He saw that he was covered with a coat.
