Chapter 15: Tube Building (Fifteen) Crying
Wen Yin couldn't move.
My legs felt like they were stuck in the mud.
Shen Sinian's slender knuckles stopped at the side of her face. After sensing her intention to retreat, he turned downwards and gently clamped her jaw.
The force forced Wen Yin to look up, exposing her entire face to the strange moonlight.
Her wet black hair fell silently, her eyelashes wet by the rain trembled, and only his figure was imprinted in her amber pupils.
Weak, helpless, and pitiful.
With a desire that makes people want to tear her into pieces and swallow her in one bite.
"Shen..."
Before Wen Yin could even utter the word "Chen" completely, she felt a sudden pain in her jaw. She instinctively opened her mouth, and then her lips felt cold, and a fingertip with a rough texture went straight into her mouth.
!!!
The words that Wen Yin hadn't uttered were stuck in her throat, and a chill came to her ears again.
It was the landlord's equally cold fingers that brushed away the wet hair stuck behind her ears, finally landing on her wet little earlobe.
Crush and fiddle with.
The force he used was so strong that it caused her some pain.
But she couldn't open her mouth, because Shen Sinian in front of her, after observing her surprised and frowning expression, seemed to be interested and pinched her softer tongue tip.
028 was so shocked by the strange scene before him that he couldn't even breathe.
While I was still wondering how the host could escape successfully, I saw the host who was clamped suddenly had red eyes.
Tears accumulated and slid down from the corners of his eyes, one by one, mixing with the rain, and falling heavily on the back of the young man's hand.
Then it fell along the back of his hand and sank into the sticky black shadow that was still wrapped around her calf.
The black shadows under his feet began to pull, and two pitch-black dog heads, one on the left and one on the right, began to bark wildly at the doctor and the landlord.
The landlord behind her stopped fiddling with her earlobe, and moved his index finger forward, brushing across her wet cheek.
I felt tears on his face.
"Why are you crying?"
A cold voice came, and Wen Yin couldn't turn around. She only heard a slight friction sound, and something was spreading from the backs of her and the landlord that were pressed against each other.
It fell on the side of the neck and then went up to the cheek, bringing a strange touch.
Wen Yin vaguely caught a glimpse of green, which was... the branches of a plant.
The most fragile tip of the bud was fluffy, like a little snake eating, licking up the tear marks on her cheek inch by inch, and finally landing on the corners of her red eyes.
The shape of a young bud appeared in Wen Yin's pupils. She blinked, and before a tear could fall, it was sucked up by the top of the plant, which was still covered with plant hairs.
The bud stopped in front of her eyes and observed her for a long time. After making sure that there was no sign of tears flowing out, it finally retreated with satisfaction.
The overly slow speed and the fluffy touch made Wen Yin tremble involuntarily.
"Clean."
The landlord spoke, and the vines faded away. The puppies at Wen Yin's feet were still barking, but both of their heads were facing Shen Sinian, who was still pinching Wen's jaw.
"Woof woof!"
Shen Sinian's eyes behind the lenses were fixed on Wen Yin's cheek, watching the process of her being cleaned.
Now that his tears had dried up, he finally took the time to lower his eyes and glance at the sticky black mist still wrapped around Wen Yin's calves.
The dog's barking suddenly became a little quieter in the young man's sight, and finally the puppy whimpered and stopped barking.
At the same time, Wen Yin felt a chill on her legs, and the puppy began to lie at her feet and lick her ankles.
I couldn't speak or move.
The person in front of her was too close, and Wen Yin began to feel as if she was soaked in disinfectant.
She barely moved her tongue and uttered a few unclear words.
"open…"
Shen Sinian didn’t move.
Whether it's hands or sight.
His expression was still gentle, but the gaze behind his glasses was so thick that it seemed to drag her in, into the lowest depths of the abyss.
So that I can accompany him to perish forever.
Wen Yin was shocked.
Showing weakness won't work for him.
The force coming from her mandible was still heavy. Wen Yin blinked her eyes, and while looking at Shen Sinian, she bit the finger that was still pinching her tongue.
The strong smell of blood immediately entered her mouth.
"Um?"
The young man in the moonlight tilted his head.
He seemed not to feel the pain at all, his eyes lingered on Wen Yin's lips strangely for a moment, and finally his fingertips moved slightly and released.
Wen Yin breathed a sigh of relief, but she didn't expect that the next second, the other party seemed to turn into a dentist, and his bloody fingertips touched the fangs that Wen Yin had just bitten.
One by one, caressing them past.
His expression was serious and focused.
It's like studying some strange object that has never been seen before.
The strong smell of blood went straight into Wen Yin's mouth and nose.
Wen Yin couldn't stand the choking anymore and was about to give the culprit another bite.
But he suddenly withdrew his hand.
At the same time, his lower jaw relaxed and Wen Yin was free.
But a lot of blood still flowed down her throat and into her body.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
Wen Yin, who was released, let out a burst of coughing. After she finally recovered, the first sentence she said was a question.
"Ahem... Where's Xiaotuan?"
Due to the violent coughing, his speech became less fluent.
She raised her eyes, which were filled with physiological tears, and stared straight at Shen Sinian who was looking down at her.
The black puppy was still licking her feet, and the unique barbs on its tongue caused a slight stinging sensation on the skin.
"Awu!"
Wen Yin's tone was a little irritated.
"Ahem, stop!"
The dogs that were licking happily at her feet were startled, and both of them raised their heads at the same time to look at Wen Yin.
Seeing that Wen Yin looked unhappy, he whimpered and lay on the ground motionless.
Wen Yin's feet were free. She covered her throat and moved to the side, freeing herself from the chest that was pressed against her back, and formed a triangle with her neighbor and landlord.
Looking around, the ground was still covered with dense corpses.
After her coughing finally subsided, she asked the same question to the two people in front of her again.
"Where's Xiaotuan?"
Shen Sinian did not speak, and the landlord remained silent.
Under the dense rain, the hems of their clothes were not wet at all. They just lowered their eyes quietly and looked at her with extremely similar eyes.
I don’t know what he is thinking.
More than ten minutes passed, and Wen Yin, soaked all over, shivered in the rain.
The landlord and neighbor in front of me suddenly spoke at the same time.
"Where is Xiaotuan? Does it matter to you?"
The cold and gentle voices overlapped and merged into a timbre that Wen Yin had never heard before, which seemed particularly distorted against the sound of dripping rain.
"important."
Wen Yin's face was pale from the cold, with only a trace of bright red blood at the corner of her mouth, which was particularly glaring under the moonlight.
Her delicate appearance was strangely tinged with a hint of evil.
"But to you, he is just a strange child."
The landlord stood under the soapberry tree. The branches and leaves of the tree were dimly visible, and the vines were intertwined, as if they were about to merge with his dark figure.
It feels completely inhuman.
Wen Yin was drenched by the rain and could hardly open her eyes. She wiped the raindrops that had gathered on her eyelashes and looked down at the skeletons on the ground.
In one hand he held the longevity lock that represented Xiaotuan's identity.
"So what if he's a strange kid..."
"He calls me sister."
"I have to protect him."
"Woof!"
The black dog lying on the ground suddenly barked and wagged its tail at Wen Yin in the rain.
“Mr. Landlord, Dr. Shen.”
Wen Yin spread out her palms and raised the longevity lock in her hand towards the two of them.
"Can you tell me where Xiaotuan is?"
The raindrops fell down Wen Yin's cheeks, as if she was crying silently.
"I don't want another longevity lock to be buried in this pile of mud and never see the light of day."
Tick-tick.
The rain fell and splashed, circulating continuously in Wen Yin's vision.
Shen Sinian, who had been silent for a long time, suddenly chuckled in the night.
He first looked at the longevity lock in Wen Yin's palm, then lowered his eyes and stopped at the muddy corpses on the ground.
"Go out and turn right, there's an abandoned residential area at the end."
There was a strange excitement in Shen Sinian's gentle tone, and his dark eyes through the lenses looked at the person in front of him without any concealment.
"Hopefully, you'll make it in time."
As soon as he finished speaking, a cold wind blew by, and the two slender figures under the tree disappeared.
The black puppy at her feet barked at her again.
Fang Chi tugged at her trouser leg, stood up and ran out.
"Woof!"
Motioned for her to follow.
Wen Yin blinked and stepped into the mud.
-
The long street was deserted in the middle of the night. The five-legged puppy ran very fast, and its dizzy black hair was completely blended into the night.
If it hadn't looked back from time to time and made sounds towards Wen Yin, I'm afraid Wen Yin would have lost her way long ago.
At the corner at the end of the long street is an abandoned low-rise building, dilapidated and empty, quietly lurking at the end of the residential area.
The rain gradually became less frequent, and the full moon appeared from behind the dark clouds, illuminating the area clearly.
The black puppy took Wen Yin around the building and finally stopped in front of the innermost low building.
"Woof woof."
The puppy stood in front of the building and wagged its tail at her, then licked her drooping fingertips when she approached.
Wen Yin didn't have time to scold the puppy. In the blink of an eye, the black puppy disappeared from her sight.
All that was left was the empty, dark door in front of him.
Wen Yin didn't notice any other movement around her. It was late at night and there was no one around.
She searched the building for a long time, and finally found the unconscious little boy in an abandoned closet with tape on the corner of his mouth.
Wen Yin felt so cold that her fingertips trembled as she touched Xiaotuan's breath, and the huge rock pressing on her heart was finally lifted.
Xiaotuan is still alive.
She carried Xiaotuan out, tore off the tape on his mouth, and when she walked out of the house, the rain that had been falling for most of the night finally stopped.
A bright full moon hung above their heads, illuminating the way home.
When they were almost home, Xiaotuan, who had been lying on Wen Yin's back without any response all the way, finally opened his eyes a little in a daze.
He buried his head in Wen Yin's neck. The child's tender voice was muffled and hoarse, and he was not fully awake yet.
"Mom, is this the way to heaven? You're here to pick me up so we can become a star together, right?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Wen Yin felt a warmth on her neck.
It was Xiaotuan crying in his sleep.
