Chapter 19: Out of Control
A few vines climbed up the corners of Wen Yin's clothes in broad daylight.
Green leaves, symbolizing vitality, gathered in her peripheral vision, gradually entangled and twisted into an airtight cocoon, trapping her in the small world in front of the desk.
My vision became dim, and the only sounds around me were the friction sounds of the intertwined branches and the shallow breathing of the person behind me.
The slightly cool body temperature penetrated the fabric and continuously came from the bodies of the two people pressed against each other behind him.
Wen Yin suddenly felt dizzy. Someone held her waist and placed her on an old desk.
As the other person's knee pushed her legs apart, a shadow fell over her head. The slender arms that had just been around her were gently supported on the desk in a restrained posture.
A cold voice came from above, carrying an irresistible tone.
"Wen Yin, look up."
Wen Yin blinked in the dim light. She couldn't see the other person's expression, but the air she breathed was filled with the fresh scent of plants.
There was also the unignorable feeling of his touch against the inside of her thigh through the fabric of her clothes.
"Mr. Fang...Mr. Song..."
The ending tone was drawn out, with the soft voice unique to girls. Wen Yin raised her head, exposing her face completely to the other person's sight.
Gentle and submissive.
No resistance.
The person in front of her seemed very satisfied. His cold fingers landed on her brow bone, traced downwards, and stopped at the end of her eye.
"To come uninvited is to be a...thief."
A cool breath blew past, and the other person lifted her drooping hair.
"Wen Yin, what do you want to do here?"
In the giant cocoon woven by vines, countless intertwined branches and leaves began to surge rapidly, wrapping around Wen Yin's hands that were barely supporting themselves on the edge of the table.
They squeezed into Wen Yin's fingers, occupying the little remaining territory.
Wen Yin subconsciously tightened her fingers, only to find that they were the softest tips of the vines, with a fluffy touch.
"Um?"
"I…"
Before Wen Yin could utter the word "I", her landlord, who was shrouded in darkness, suddenly let out a strange groan.
The vines at her fingertips were still entangled and surging in her hands, and there was a faint intention of climbing upwards and going towards her sleeves.
Wen Yin exerted force with her fingers and grasped the fluffy thing.
The next second, she felt the person who was restraining her in front of her stiffen his body, like a snake being pinched by its vital point, or someone holding its most vulnerable soft spot.
The branches intertwined with her fingertips struggled for only a moment before hanging down foolishly in her hands.
Wen Yin loosened her grip out of curiosity, but they clingingly entangled with her again, encircling her slender white fingers.
It seemed to be craving the same grip.
"Mr. Song..."
Wen Yin clenched her fists again, still looking up at the landlord in front of her whose face she couldn't see clearly, "Are you okay?"
It's a concerned tone.
The landlord didn't say anything.
The speed at which the surrounding branches and vines surged also slowed down.
I don’t know how long it took, but Wen Yin’s neck felt a little sore, and the person in front of her finally spoke.
But there was a strange hoarseness in the originally cold voice.
"What are you doing up here?"
"I……"
Wen Yin loosened her fingers again. This time she didn't clench them tightly, but instead randomly pinched a small branch.
The soft and warm fingertips slowly slid across the furry surface of the branches.
"There's a question that's been bothering me for a long time."
The girl's voice sounded innocently.
"Mr. Song, can you help me solve this?"
The person who was still imprisoned in front of Wen Yin paused for a long time before uttering only two words: "You say."
"Why are you all small groups..."
"And I have to watch him... repeat the process of death over and over again?"
The girl spoke softly, letting the unattended branches fight for the only superior seat in her hands.
She tapped the fuzzy tip of the plant.
"Mr. Song, can you tell me?"
The vision was dim and Wen Yin could only vaguely see the outline of the man in front of her.
Amidst the rustling sound, she suddenly loosened her grip on the branches and pushed them all aside.
Before they could wrap around him, he raised his hand and placed his warm palm on the unclear face.
When my fingertips touched, I felt a slight chill. It was the other person's handsome brow bone.
He seemed very surprised by Wen Yin's sudden action, his brows furrowed, and he was looking down at her.
Looking down with fingers, there were those narrow eyes that had been seen many times and were deeply engraved in Wen Yin's eyes.
The roundness of his youth faded away, and his tender eyes were tempered into a mature and cold look with the passage of time.
The bridge of his nose was empty, without the glasses that Dr. Shen wore to enhance his appearance. Hard eyelashes slid across Wen Yin's palm, and he blinked.
Further down, his thin lips were still tightly pursed. Wen Yin could imagine the other person's cold and aloof look without even looking.
This is in stark contrast to Dr. Shen’s perpetually upturned mouth corners.
One is as cold as ice, the other is as gentle as water.
There is also the cunning and smart Awu.
They are all "weird" illusions based on the small balls of life frozen in the rainy night.
They are three age groups, filling the time when the little boy did not grow up smoothly.
Yet, he watched helplessly as he, ignorant of nothing, suffered pain and death again and again.
"Why?"
Wen Yin's fingers lightly fell on his Adam's apple. The bulge was horizontal, and under Wen Yin's gentle caress, it suddenly sank down.
He swallowed hard, with a sense of difficulty, and then grasped Wen Yin's hand that was still causing trouble in his throat.
"You came uninvited and you're trying to get yourself into trouble..."
The man's cold and hoarse voice suddenly came close to her ear, and the air flow caused by his breath blew the hair on the side of her neck.
"It seems," Wen Yin felt a cool hand on her lower back, pulling her into his arms, "or maybe I'm too soft-hearted..."
The moment the words fell, the fresh scent of plants suddenly rose, and the other person's slightly cool thin lips touched Wen Yin's fair and warm ear.
The not-so-soft touch, along with the breath of the "gui" disguised as a human, bombarded Wen Yin's eardrums.
While Wen Yin was stunned for a moment, the other person bit her rosy earlobe.
It is a posture of absolute control.
It was the same possessiveness as those two people, hidden under the human skin.
Wen Yin only felt a sharp pain as sharp canine teeth scratched the skin on her earlobe.
The tiny earlobe fell into the other person's lips and teeth.
Wen Yin's heart trembled, and her body was covered with fine hairs standing on end at the slippery touch.
The small and sticky noises continued until the skin became hot. The person in front of him finally moved away and released the hand that was holding Wen Yin.
The branches wrapped into cocoons gradually loosened, and the dazzling morning light from outside rushed in through the gaps, revealing Wen Yin's bright red earlobe.
"I'm sorry, Wen Yin."
The landlord, with an ascetic and cold face, took out a small handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the remaining water and blood stains on his thin lips.
"You seduced me, and that's why I lost control."
