It only took an hour or two to get back to the First Federation Military Academy from the capital planet. The two of them had purchased tickets for the morning shuttle, so they arrived mid-morning. They retired to their dorms to rest and still make it to their afternoon classes. Little Furball had also returned with them. General Williams was busy with official duties and needed to quickly investigate the traitor within the entire legion. Elaine also had to build a new mecha for Hall, and Owen needed to start practicing basic techniques today, leaving no one to care for the little one. Oakland had taken such good care of Joey before, and everyone could see that he truly loved him, so they asked Oakland to look after the little one again.
Auckland happily brought the little cutie back to school. Although the two deliberately kept a low profile, they still attracted a lot of attention while waiting for the bus at the hub station. Soon the news of their return was posted on the forum of the school website.
Oakland and Hall ignored all this. They returned to their respective dormitories, put their suitcases away, and then sent a communication to their respective instructors, canceling their leave. The small suitcases they brought back were filled with energy stones for their cultivation.
"I have to go to class in the afternoon. You just stay here and don't mess with the cabinet anymore, okay?" Oakland reached out and gently tapped the little ball's head.
“Ouch! Ouch!” I know! Sister-in-law!
"So good!" Auckland smiled and kissed the little guy's furry head.
Because time was tight, the man and the tiger cub simply ate some nutrient solution as lunch.
When Auckland went to class in the afternoon, he felt something strange as soon as he entered the classroom. It seemed that everyone's eyes were focused on him, but when he looked back, those people withdrew their gaze in time.
Auckland didn't take it seriously. After all, his identity was now completely exposed, and he could completely understand the students' curiosity about him. They were all irrelevant people anyway, so he just had to do his own thing.
Teacher Comer came to the classroom quickly. When he saw Auckland, his eyes suddenly lit up. He nodded at him and started the class.
"How many of you have completed the homework assigned to you two days ago?" asked Comer.
The students looked at each other and raised a few hands, including Liz Isaacs and Randy Buckle.
"Liz, bring your homework up here for me to see."
"Okay, mentor." Liz stood up slowly, holding a metal plate in her hand, on which was drawn the magic pattern for enhancing speed that Comer had taught them before.
Liz put on a very delicate makeup today, which made her beautiful face even more beautiful. She walked forward gracefully and cast a coquettish glance at Auckland when passing by him.
Unfortunately, she was flirting with a blind man. Auckland not only didn't show any surprise, but he turned his eyes away, not even looking at her. Liz's expression froze for a moment, but she bit her lip and continued to walk to the front, handing the metal plate to Instructor Kommer.
Kommer checked her drawing and found it quite successful. "The force is evenly applied, and the lines are smooth. Very good."
Next was Randy, who also received a very good evaluation from the instructor. No one was surprised by this. After all, the strength of the two was there, and their starting point was different from theirs since they transferred to their class.
Everyone's gazes couldn't help but turn towards Auckland. This person was probably the most incredible person in their class... He was clearly already a master, yet he was still sitting in class with them...
Comer checked the students' homework one by one and gave each student who completed the homework one or two credits as a reward.
Next, Kommer led them to the studio for the teaching practice course to demonstrate to them what real coat of arms making looks like.
Comer took out an energy board and a magic crystal pen, and began to draw in front of all the students. His mental power had been trained for many years and his control was very strong. When he started to draw, perhaps others could not feel it, but Auckland could feel slight energy fluctuations around him, which showed that Comer's start was very successful.
Almost everyone stared at Kommer's movements with wide eyes. This was the first time these students had witnessed a physical herald being created up close, offering a prime learning opportunity. Auckland was no exception; his techniques were based entirely on his own experience and the talisman-making experience of his previous life. Aside from that heraldry lecture, this was his first time witnessing a live heraldry creation up close. Although Kommer's drawings were merely ordinary magic runes, his mental control and precise rhythm were still worth learning from.
Only two people seemed nonchalant: Liz and Randy. Perhaps they felt they were already capable of creating physical emblems, so there was no need to expend any more time observing and learning. Their gazes inconspicuously fell on Auckland. Liz looked at him as if he were a piece of delicious meat, while Randy's gaze was filled with a dark malice.
However, no matter which one it was, Auckland felt uncomfortable. He was now a cultivator in the Foundation Establishment stage, so there was no need to be so tolerant. So he released his spiritual sense and taught them a small lesson.
"Ah..." Liz screamed and collapsed to the ground with a pale face. At that moment, she seemed to see a terrible beast suddenly appear in front of her, making her fall to the ground with weak hands and feet.
Randy was not in a much better condition. His face was pale, his forehead was sweating, and his head felt like it was being pricked by needles. His previously calm mind suddenly began to churn uncontrollably, making him feel extremely uncomfortable.
Teacher Komer frowned slightly, but his hands never stopped moving. After he finally finished making the emblem, he looked at the two people and asked, "What's going on with you?"
I was having class just fine, how come he suddenly became like this?
The two of them stammered and couldn't explain clearly. Although Comer found it strange, he didn't take it to heart after seeing them gradually calm down and no longer have any adverse reactions. If these two people didn't intend to study hard, there were other students to learn from!
Comer picked up the coat of arms he had just made and asked the students to pass it around and look at it. He explained several key points of production to them and then assigned them a new assignment, which was to try to make a physical coat of arms, regardless of their level.
The students cheered, they could finally start making the actual coat of arms.
Comer was not as optimistic as these students. He thought that if at most ten of the forty students in the class could successfully make it, it would be considered very good. Among these ten people, he also included Auckland, Liz, Randy and others who were able to make coats of arms independently.
After finishing today's classes, Auckland walked out with the crowd.
"Oakland! Oakland Campbell!"
A female voice came from behind. Auckland didn't even need to turn around to know who was calling him. He lowered his head and quickened his pace.
Seeing that he not only did not stop but walked even faster, Liz stomped her feet in anger, then rushed forward and blocked Auckland's way.
Seeing this, Oakland couldn't pretend not to see it anymore. He looked at Liz and said, "Student, what can I do for you?"
Liz was even more annoyed when he couldn't even remember her name. "My name is Liz Isaac."
"Oh." Oakland replied dryly, "And then?"
Liz was so angry that her veins were about to pop out. It was the first time she had been treated so coldly in front of a man. But now that things had come to this, she had no choice but to bite the bullet and said, "Have dinner with me tonight!"
"Oh." Oakland replied slowly, "Sorry, I have an appointment."
After saying that, Auckland walked around Liz and wanted to leave again. Liz had been humiliated again and again, so how could she bear it no longer? As the daughter of the commander-in-chief of the Third Army, she had been admired since she was a child and had never been a good-tempered person. She raised her hand and was ready to teach this ungrateful guy a lesson.
"What are you doing?" Before Auckland could make a move, someone stopped Liz.
"Dylan Lowell, stop meddling in other people's business!" Liz's wrist was held tightly by the other party, preventing her from breaking free. In public, students passing by were pointing and talking about her, which made her even more angry.
"Are you losing your mind again? Do you need me to contact your father?" A fierce look flashed in Dylan's beautiful peach blossom eyes.
Liz's mind finally calmed down a bit. Auckland was no ordinary herald. Besides his immense value, he was also Hall Williams' fiancé. If she really hit him, she was afraid...
"Hmph! You're lucky!" Liz glared at Auckland fiercely, turned around and left.
Dylan turned around with a smile and was about to say hello to Auckland in a handsome manner, but he found that the man had already walked a few steps away.
The corners of Dylan's mouth twitched, and he quickly chased after him, "You're leaving just like that?"
"What else?"
Dylan choked. "After all, I helped you. Shouldn't you thank me?"
"Oh, thank you." Auckland replied perfunctorily and continued to walk out. As he walked, he was thinking that it seemed that he really couldn't stay in this school anymore. He decided to apply for skipping a grade again and try to graduate early as soon as possible.
Dylan really had no idea what to do with this guy. He was just being soft and hard, so he just said straight to the point, "I'd like to invite you and Hall to dinner to discuss cooperation."
"What cooperation?" This person's invitation also included Hall, which finally made Auckland a little interested.
