Side Story 1: The Eternal Realm

In the center of a high-tech laboratory, entirely made of silver-white metal, stands a hibernation pod connected to countless data cables.

These data lines are deeply embedded in the endless void, drawing power from countless worlds to power the laboratory.

I don't know how much time passed.

The long-sealed hibernation pod suddenly opened slowly, and a man sat up from it, looking around with a slightly disordered gaze.

"Welcome back, Master."

Amidst a slightly obsequious voice, countless electric lights converged into a phantom figure, which respectfully bowed in mid-air.

"I see..."

Vilandir sighed deeply, and his eyes gradually regained their brilliance. Countless lights and shadows flashed in his pupils, as deep and dazzling as a galaxy.

"Zero, how long have I been gone?"

"37 Eras of Truth, Master, exactly as you predicted," the intelligent life form known as Zero replied.

"Um..."

Vilandir nodded slightly, stood up, and flew down from the hibernation pod. The flowing metal in the laboratory automatically gathered at his feet and condensed into a black robe that spread over his body.

"Master, this way."

Zero bent down and pointed, explaining, "Several eras ago, a violent conflict broke out between several mythical worlds in the Eternal Realm. I was worried that they would disturb Miss Lovis's slumber, so I took it upon myself to move her hibernation pod to the secret chamber in the East District. Please forgive me, Master."

"Oh? A violent conflict... Most of the forces in the Eternal Realm are constant and indestructible, so it's rare for a conflict to erupt and affect the Realm of Truth... It seems I've missed quite a few good shows."

Vilandir paused slightly, a hint of interest in his eyes.

"The Second Mythical World, which was originally destroyed, suddenly rekindled the Eternal Flame seven times before the Truth Era. The reincarnation of the Heavenly Emperor merged with the power of the Primal Zerg Overlord and made a powerful return."

Zero understood and said, "He led the Heavenly Court generals and the Primal Insect Clan to forcefully suppress the Third Mythical World—the Strange Land. Three rulers were wiped out, and nearly one-tenth of the territory of the Third Mythical World was forcibly plundered. Even the avatar of the Ancestor of the Old Gods was destroyed. He only dared to close the world and barely defend it by relying on the rules of the Eternal Realm."

"interesting..."

Vilandir paused slightly: "To forcibly erase the ruler from the mythical world, one's strength has probably surpassed the Infinite Realm and reached the legendary Eternal Realm."

"Not only that, Master."

Zero seemed somewhat excited and continued, "Three eras ago, a ninth mythical world suddenly appeared in the Eternal Realm. The strange land, which was severely damaged, attempted to attack them and plunder some of their fortune to make up for their previous losses."

"But unexpectedly, that newly formed force not only possessed a large number of powerful warriors known as angels, undead, and abyssal monsters, but its leader, who called himself the Lord of the Undead and the Controller of the Abyss, also possessed the strength of the peak of the Infinite Realm upon entering the Eternal World. The Third Mythical World not only failed to gain any advantage, but was instead severely damaged once again..."

"The Lord of the Dead... the Abyss..."

Vilandir was slightly taken aback, then a smile appeared on his lips: "My efforts were not in vain."

"Does the master know about this emerging force?"

Zero asked curiously, then said with a hint of schadenfreude:

"They deserve it. The Third Mythical World is a cancer in the Eternal Realm. If they hadn't plotted against Miss Lovis, you wouldn't have had to suffer so much, going through endless cycles of reincarnation."

"Loves..."

Upon hearing this, Vilandir suddenly sighed softly, fell silent, and quickened his pace.

After passing through several isolation doors, we entered a simulated vast starry sky.

The light of countless stars fell upon a hibernation pod in the center, as if the moon were surrounded by stars.

A woman with an exceptionally beautiful face lay peacefully asleep inside, her brows occasionally furrowing slightly as if she were enduring some kind of pain.

"Almost there... Give me just a little more time and I can completely heal you."

Vilandir's gaze softened as he focused on the center, gently stroking the other's cheek. The metal lid of the hibernation pod, made of some unknown material, recoiled automatically upon contact with his hand, as if it were alive.

"Owner!"

Zero's eyes revealed a hint of reverence: "As far as I know, throughout the endless eras, once the ancestral curse of the Third Mythical World is afflicted, no one can escape it. It completely twists the soul, turning the person into a mad monster in a very short time. You are the only one who can suppress, or even resolve, this infamous ability."

Vilandir gazed silently at the sleeping Lovis for a long time before withdrawing his gaze, covering the flowing metal layer again, and said softly:

“The soul is composed of approximately 1.36 trillion special units, and each unit is further divided into 2.64 trillion strands of spirituality. The reason why their curses are difficult to deal with is that they affect every strand of spirituality simultaneously, disguise themselves as normal, and secretly assimilate them.”

"I will distribute these 1.36 trillion special units into different planes, and then create the Three Lives Divine Art to erase the memories of 2.64 trillion spiritual beings, while reincarnating them into various parallel worlds. Lovis attained enlightenment with the heart of the Holy Spirit, and will maintain her kind and positive nature no matter what circumstances she encounters. The wisp that has been alienated will naturally reveal negative desires, which can be completely erased by using the chosen one of that plane to kill it."

As he spoke, a slight smile gradually appeared on his face: "Now we are finally about to complete the task, and only the last unit remains to be resolved."

"Congratulations, Master."

Zero lowered his head, his expression becoming increasingly respectful.

It knew its master's words were simple, but in reality, to avoid triggering the spell's instinctive resistance, the master also needed to seal its memories and start from scratch when reincarnating into different planes. If it perished during this process, without the protection of the Eternal Realm's rules, it would be tantamount to true death.

"Um..."

Vilandir pondered for a moment, then looked up and made a light swipe of his finger hidden in his black robe. Countless ever-changing bubbles emerged from the woman in the hibernation pod.

They shimmered with endless light and shadow, as if they were manifestations of worlds condensed and fast-forwarded, finally freezing on the scene of a beautiful woman's fall, and then quietly shattering.

Only one bubble remained, its outer layer shrouded in thick black mist, making it difficult to see clearly.

"now."

He uttered a single word softly, and his calm voice seemed to resonate throughout the infinite world.

Invisible ripples spread, altering the curves of spacetime.

The core of the Realm of Truth, a vast world of 680 trillion trillion, revealed its true form amidst violent tremors—a series of unimaginably massive data complexes.

They operate rapidly, seemingly exhausting all variables.

The black mist surrounding the last bubble, like washed sand, began to shimmer with ever-changing light and shadow.

Meanwhile, in the Second Mythical World, aboard an ancient spaceship.

"Brother, has the Lord of Truth returned?"

A girl with slender spider legs and beautiful eyes that shimmered with an eerie purple light looked with great interest at the trembling void.

"Hmm...it seems the Eternal Realm is going to be in turmoil too."

The young man piloting the spaceship in the cockpit nodded, waved his hand to store the spaceship into his inner world, and the warm smile on his face gradually faded. The surrounding void rippled like waves, gradually transforming into another space-time.

roar--!

The shadows of countless terrifying insects and beasts with hideous appearances were cast across the starry sky, gradually obscuring the entire Milky Way.

...

The Ninth Mythical World.

"Husband, are you the teacher?"

At the summit of a vast, boundless sacred mountain, Li Miaolin, dressed in light pink casual clothes, asked softly.

"Yes, back then, the teacher asked me to break his mental imprint to deal with the Abyss Demon Emperor, saying that he would not die, but would just return to another world. I thought he was just trying to comfort me, but I didn't expect it was all part of his plan."

Jiang Yan looked up toward the Realm of Truth, his gaze leisurely.

"Then is it..." Li Miaolin asked hesitantly.

"Well, the peaceful days are coming to an end."

Jiang Yan nodded, withdrew his gaze, and softly spoke to the void: "Anna."

"Holy Lord, I am here."

The moment the words fell, an angel with eighteen pure white wings quietly appeared behind Jiang Yan.

"Give the order: Angel Legion, Abyss Legion, Undead Legion, prepare for war with full force. A new war is about to begin."

"Respect the holy decree, my lord."

Anna's fervent eyes blazed with undisguised fighting spirit, and the feathers on her back instantly turned from pure white to jet black.

Countless chains flickered in her hands, and at their ends, enormous monsters struggled to climb.

The power of the abyss began to spread.

...

The core of the Realm of Truth.

The shadows on the surface of the bubble finally disappeared, pointing to a certain world.

"The final mark of reincarnation was actually there..."

Vilandir frowned slightly.

Although he orchestrated the reincarnation, even with his abilities, he couldn't fully control trillions of soul units.

There will always be some things that happen in an unexpected world.

"Master, are you going there yourself? It seems to be..." Zero's voice paused slightly.

“It’s alright. Send a message to the Lord of the Fourth Mythical World in my name, saying that you need to borrow the 300 billion Great Worlds of the Star Realm for 30 epochs.”

Vilandir's expression returned to calm as he looked back at the sleeping Lovis, his voice flat:

"If you're unwilling, then find them a new owner."
