Where was Lian Han taken?
She was locked in a dark room.
It was a dark space. She tried, but couldn't teleport.

"I don't know. As people get older, their thoughts become harder to fathom," Old Xing replied in a low voice.

"I want to confirm something." A beam of light shone in the darkness, and Jing Li sat on the sofa, looking at her calmly, like an emperor on his throne looking down on all living beings.
His aura and personality don't match his cheerful voice at all.
Lian Han thought for a moment and asked, "Confirm what?"
“You’re 21 years old now, and your teacher passed away 12 years ago. How did you get his guidance? Did you reach A-level at the age of 9?” Jingli questioned.
"Why can't it be the notes left by the old teacher before?" Lian Han said, almost blurting out "old man".
Jingli squinted. "The teacher's notes have always been handwritten on paper, and I'm sure I have every single one of them."
"Confirmed? Just like he was certain his students wouldn't betray him before he died?" Lian Han asked with disdain.
Now that her identity has been exposed, she doesn't mind speaking frankly. If she makes the old man unhappy, then he won't be happy either!
Jingli didn't care about being mocked. "My teacher and I are not the same kind of people. Once he finds that I'm drifting apart from him, he will distance himself from me."
"You know you're not the same kind of people! He's much more upright than you."
"Go on, I'm way past the age of getting angry. But don't try to change the subject."
Lian Han: ...
What should she say? That the old man lives in her sea of consciousness? Or should she use the same excuse she gave to Bei Ting? As for the old man's enemies, Lian Han felt she didn't need to help them resolve their doubts.
So the young man raised an eyebrow and said, "I have nothing to say."

Lian Han remained silent. So how did he know?
Old Xing said helplessly, "[Think about how you tricked Lian Rui before—you're still too inexperienced and naive.]"

“That’s what he thought before he died,” Jingli sighed softly, then changed the subject. “Let me ask you something else. I saw how well you used the saving cards before, so let me ask you—if someone’s body is intact and they are still alive, but they never wake up, what could be the reason?”
Lian Han blinked, "Mental necrosis?"
"Brain examination is normal. When I say the body is intact, I mean that all parts of the body are intact and undamaged."

Jing Li smiled and said something that made Lian Han and Old Man Xing's expressions change: "If you know the reason and can cure it, I can consider giving you the life card left by my teacher."
