Lian Han blinked and looked at his AI again; it was indeed Shui Yiyue's.
He was momentarily puzzled, "How did you know about this communication?"
"Have you forgotten my mental power attribute, or have you forgotten my identity?"
Lian Han was speechless. Well, she hadn't realized it yet. Both of these methods could let the older man know about her situation.
"How's the mission going?"
Lian Han paused for a moment, a sly glint in his eyes, "Uncle, can I tell on you?"
In the lounge, General Ning looked at the girl on the screen and chuckled, "Go ahead and sue. I'll get revenge for whoever bullied you."
"Isn't he one of your army's good major generals? He's got all the air about him. We'll give him a good beating sooner or later!"
Ning Jue said helplessly, "Girls shouldn't always be shouting for violence."
"He's gone too far. I still don't understand what he's doing this time, all he knows is that he's looking for evidence. He doesn't even consider me a teammate!"
Remembering not to let her know that she could monitor them, Ning Jue asked, "So you two started arguing?"
"Pretty much. Didn't I suddenly change my attitude this afternoon? As soon as I got back, she questioned me about whether I did it on purpose. It was just a few words, that's all."
Ning Jue shook her head helplessly. Although Lian Han was usually easy to get along with, as her brother's student and the Federation's youngest 2S-level expert, even if she wasn't arrogant, she still had pride. She does seem reluctant to part with him. No, even if she is reluctant, she shouldn't call him that. Ning Jue is the old man's younger brother.
"Uncle, tell me what you want me to call you, or you'll miss your chance."
Ning Jue pondered for a moment, "You should just call me by my name."
Lian Han paused, her hand still holding the clothes, thinking that calling him "Uncle" would be better. But since he had just agreed, she couldn't go back on her word. "Okay. I'll call you Ning Jue from now on."
It's a shame there isn't a more affectionate way to address someone, but it's better than scaring them away.

“I know. We hid it very well before. Until Qianya appeared—” Lian Han paused for a moment, “I have a feeling that these eyes have a deep connection with the Ice Clan. Sometimes I even feel that the Ice Clan’s purpose in coming to the Federation is for Xiye.”
Ning Jue remained silent. He didn't think Lian Han was exaggerating. This girl was quite rational when it came to important matters, especially her sharp thinking—her ability to expose his disguise was a good example.
"Then why did you agree to participate in this operation?"
"Just curious," Lian Han said matter-of-factly. She would never admit that it was for the things Qianya had promised, especially the ice crystals, which Xiao Ye desperately needed.
Just because of curiosity, she put herself in danger. Ning Jue really didn't know whether to say she was brave or just a newborn calf unafraid of tigers.
"Alright, that's all. I have other things to do, so don't contact me unless it's absolutely necessary. If my identity gets exposed by accident, it would be my fault."
He was being openly disliked. Ning Jue felt helpless and advised, "Be careful in everything."
"Don't worry." After saying that, Lian Han ended the communication and sat on the bed to start recovering the mental energy that Xi Ye had consumed.
Although Ning Jue's communication was cut off, the image on his smart device did not disappear, and he could still clearly see the girl.
