Lian Han was quite surprised when she received the news that the public opinion issue had been resolved, after all, she had asked her brother for help just half an hour earlier.
"Ling Ze, so all the hackers from the Divine Alliance are this efficient?"
“This time it wasn’t me,” Ling Ze said in a muffled voice. “You just told me, and the news started to dwindle, and now there are only a few fragments left. Even in real life, some people are faster than us; the newspaper offices have already been cleared out.”
Sensing the frustration in his tone, Lian Han raised an eyebrow. "You can't find out who it is?"
"Can't find anything. That guy's hacking skills must be higher than mine. That liar Ehen clearly said I was one of the most talented hackers. We've run into a tough nut to crack."
Lian Han comforted him, "Having the highest talent doesn't mean you're the most powerful. You still need time to grow. Besides, that hacker, we don't even know who he is through Skynet. He might just be an old man. What are you disappointed about?"
Xing Yucheng: ...
An "old man" who was eavesdropping through the internet cable: ...
Ling Ze rallied his spirits. "Thinking about it that way, it really isn't a big deal. Little sister, you wait here. Your big brother has already started investigating those newspapers in the real world. I refuse to believe we can't catch him. Once we find out who ordered it, we'll definitely find that guy."
"Okay, keep it up."
"Sister," Ling Ze hesitated, "what's your relationship with that Jing Li? Why is he protecting you?"
Lian Han didn't know what Ling Xuanyu had told them, but Ling Ze knew that she was Han Jin.
So she considered it for a moment, "We had an agreement that he would guarantee my safety until the agreement was fulfilled."
After all, if something happens to her, how can she save that person?
"What agreement? I thought you two didn't get along."
Their relationship was indeed strained. But even Han didn't want them to worry about this, so he said, "It's alright. As for what to do, don't worry about it. You wouldn't understand what's on the cards anyway."
"I can look it up. Please tell me, my dear sister."
"Junior Sister, are you not going to keep your promise?" A crack appeared in the living room, and Jing Li's voice suddenly rang out. Then he walked out.
Lian Han's gaze turned cold. "A teleportation card? You have the nerve to use that?"
"What's there to be embarrassed about?" Jingli walked over. "Junior Sister, let's go somewhere first."
Where is Xuyao?
Jingli glanced at her AI and said with a half-smile, "So concerned about your boyfriend? He's doing great."
Ling Ze immediately exploded, "What boyfriend? Lian Han, you..."
"He's exactly the kind of boyfriend you're looking for. He's handsome, capable, and considerate..."
Lian Han turned off the smart device first, "What's wrong with you?"
"Junior Sister, your AI needs an upgrade. Why don't you give it to me first?"
Should the AI be upgraded?
Lian Han's pupils contracted, and without saying a word, he grabbed the AI on his wrist. Separated from his body, the AI's self-protection mechanism was triggered, and the screen went black.
"Was that hacker eavesdropping?" Lian Han's face turned grim.
"He can delete messages, so why can't he eavesdrop? Your son is no match for him," Jingli chuckled.
Knowing he was right, Lian Han frowned before putting on the AI and taking out everything he needed from its space, placing it all into the Xirui bracelet.
The man watched silently as the items stored in the girl's AI disappeared one by one, then the screen went black again. Jingli, ha!
"Now tell me."
Jing Li looked at Lian Han with an inscrutable expression. "I'm wondering if you've leaked any information."
Lian Han's face darkened. "Are you kidding me? Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
"Logically, you shouldn't be like this, but someone is investigating me, investigating that person. Before, it was just speculation, but now it's almost certain. Besides you, who else could it be?"
"You didn't tell anyone about this?"
“No,” Jingli said matter-of-factly. “Others can’t save people, so why should I waste my breath on them?”
Then there's only one option—
Lian Han's face remained icy as he turned his gaze back to the AI. "Are there any cards that allow you to become invisible?"
"have."
"Hide it. I'll give you an explanation for this."
Seeing that she was about to confront Ning Jue, and remembering their recently improved relationship, Xing Yucheng quickly tried to calm her down, saying, "[Calm down, Lian Han. Impulsiveness is the devil.]"
[Are you concerned about your brother?] Lian Han paused.
[No. Think about it, he's probably fighting on the front lines right now. If you suddenly video call him and then yell at him, won't he be distracted?]
[But who knows, he might be eavesdropping online right now!] Lian Han sneered.
Xing Yucheng: ...This time, my guess was incredibly accurate.
However, after Xing Yucheng interrupted, Lian Han suddenly changed his mind.
“I think I know who it is. Forget about a standoff, just give him the death penalty. I’ll settle the score with him later. Today, right now, go see the person you want to save.”
Jingli raised an eyebrow. "I'm protecting you because you can save him."
"I know. But I won't die without you."
"Then let's go this afternoon. But if we can't save him—I don't mind revealing your identity again."
He's using that to threaten her again. Lian Han's lips twitched; she didn't want to talk to him anymore. But Li Zi, who was hanging on her arm, glanced at Jing Li and said, "Foolish human."
"...If you hadn't said anything, I would have thought you were a good bug."
"Human, you are the dumbest person I have ever met."
Jingli wasn't angry even though she was called stupid twice. "Lizhi, protect your little master and mind your own business."
"You are still incredibly foolish."
This was the third time. Lian Han looked at Li Zi, then at Jing Li, and felt that there might be something going on between them.
