Chapter 237 Zerg

After settling the young master of the Ling family, Captain Zhuo Ning approached the valley and was met with a scene of carnage. The criminals they had been ordered to arrest were lying on the ground, barely alive, and many had severed limbs.

However—Miss Ling and Yi Jun, these two living people, were nowhere to be seen.

"Could it be that they went deep into the valley to capture the criminals?" some people speculated.

A bad feeling rose in Zhuo Ning's heart, and he immediately said, "Leave a team of light criminals behind, the rest of you come with me into the valley!"

...

Unknown area.

With her feet firmly on the ground, Lian Han was relieved that she hadn't kissed the earth, and then she grabbed the culprit who had brought her here. "How can we go back?"

“Impossible,” Abel sneered. “Do you know why we attacked you? It’s God’s will!”

"That false god?" Lian Han asked with a mocking expression, about to press for more information, when he heard a series of slamming sounds.

"Holy crap! I'm definitely going to be disfigured this time!" came Yi Jun's wail.

Compared to Liz, who was also standing and only had slightly numb legs, he, who had plunged into the spatial rift, fared much worse, collapsing directly to the ground.

Lian Han looked at the two of them in astonishment, "What are you doing...?"

She was directly sucked in from the core of the rift, but they were still some distance away from her at the time, so how did they get here too?

Liz returned a bright smile, "You are my little master."

On the other side, Yi Jun also got up from the ground. After all, he had an S-level physique, and although his landing posture was not quite right, he was not injured anywhere. "The reason why I have been taking a break on the capital planet for so long is because the mission is to protect you. If you get lost, I will be tortured to death."

"Thank you." Lian Han's eyes crinkled into a smile, but when he looked at Abel again, his hand tightened. "Tell me honestly. Where is this place?"

"have no idea."

Lian Han increased the force, and Abel immediately coughed up blood. In order to save himself from the bomb explosion, he was willing to sacrifice his arm to protect his most vital head. At this moment, his arm was certainly not in good condition either. The bone could be seen under the flesh. Lian Han did not need to use much force to make him feel like he was in excruciating pain.

Abel said weakly, "I really don't know. The teleportation is random."

Random—hearing these two words made Lian Han's heart skip a beat. She still remembered how the random teleportation card had thrown her onto an unknown planet last time.

After pushing Abel to the ground, Lian Han immediately opened the smart device, but there was no signal again.

Lian Han: ...She really is the unluckiest one.

“I think I know where this is,” Liz said, frowning as she had been observing her surroundings.

Where is it?

Liz smiled, a hint of allure in her eyes, "Welcome, Master, to the Zerg."

Lian Han: ...This is even worse than going to an unknown planet.

Yi Jun: ...Can we rewind 3 minutes and he not jump into the rift?

Liz pinched Lian Han's cheek. "Don't look so sad. I'm a Zerg, after all. I can protect you."

"The problem is, how do we get back?" Lian Han asked, opening his mouth.

Liz thought for a moment, "Then you'll have to go to the front lines. Anyway, you're pretty familiar with the commanders there, whether it's the South or the North. As long as you get to the front lines, it shouldn't be too difficult to go back."

"But we humans have no chance of going to the front lines, okay? We'd probably get arrested as soon as we went out."

Although the old man mentioned that not all Zerg are unfriendly, it would be difficult for them to be friendly to humans who suddenly appeared among them.

Liz frowned. Her human appearance was indeed a problem. Her master had also visited the Zerg before; how did he overcome this?

Suddenly, Liz's eyes lit up, but after glancing at the half-dead Abel, she asked, "What about him?"

Lian Han subconsciously looked at Yi Jun, who smirked and threw a dagger that plunged directly into the other man's heart. "You won't be able to go back anytime soon, so keeping it in your way is just a nuisance."

Lian Han frowned, but ultimately said nothing. "Lizhi, have you thought of a solution?"

"Hmm. Master also once traveled through the Zerg for a month; you can learn from him. Did you bring a language translator?"

Lian Han nodded, "There are two."

Of course. Ever since she discovered the convenience of a language translator on the unknown planet, she has always carried it with her, and with a spare, she has exactly two.

"Where's the Easy-to-Shape Card?"

“Yes, I do,” Lian Han said. She has some extra money lately, and she hasn’t been in a hurry to sell the cards she makes for practice, so she still has quite a few cards that are more difficult to make, such as Shapeshifting Cards and Illusion Cards.

“Then let’s go. First, cover your faces, and I’ll take you somewhere,” Liz said.

Her fiery red hair grew long, reaching her ankles, and her eyes transformed into the distinctive gray pupils of the Zerg, lacking the whites of human eyes. Her face also became much more eerie. As for her clothes, it was unclear how she managed to change her combat uniform instantly. The transformed outfit was somewhat revealing, but the crucial areas were still covered.

Yi Jun: ...

Although he knew that the Zerg had a humanoid appearance, Liz was just a card, right? How did she become a Zerg?

Lian Han had no doubts about this. She directly found a cloak and wrapped herself up tightly. Seeing that Yi Jun did not move, she threw him a similar one.

"Hurry up." Yi Jun snapped out of his daze and quickly put the glove on himself.

"Stay close to me, and don't make a sound once we enter the Zerg's territory."

Half an hour later, Lian Han and his companion, now dressed in different clothes, followed Li Zi away from the bustling insectoid settlement and headed straight for a place with dense trees. However, at Li Zi's insistence, they were both careful to conceal their presence.
