“Bingmo is dead. When Luo Feng found him, he only found his ice crystals.” Ning Jue finished speaking and then explained, “When the Ice Clan people die, their bodies melt away, leaving only their ice crystals.”
Yi Jun: Why can't he understand? The Ice Clan is dead, what does that have to do with Lian Han?
"Who is the murderer?" Lian Han took a deep breath and calmed down.
"The investigation is still ongoing. However, there is currently no evidence to suggest that it was him."
Lian Han's lips curled into a smile. "So?"
With a bad feeling in her heart, Ning Jue explained, "If there's no evidence, then he's innocent. But I think you need to know that you can't control him."
Lian Han paused for a moment, then asked, "What did you do to him?"
"At this stage, it's just surveillance."
But who knows what will happen in the future? Lian Han frowned, "Ning Jue, I don't need you to make decisions on your own."
"It's just concern. You're already in danger enough, and having another unstable factor around you adds to the problem."
"I know what I'm doing."

They remained silent the whole way back to their previous room. Ning Jue looked at her and said, "I've noticed that every time we bring him up, we end up arguing. Can we talk about this calmly now?"
“Okay. Ning Jue, I thought I had clearly defined my territory. Jiang Chenrui is not under your jurisdiction.”
Ning Jue frowned. Was her tone so aggressive right from the start? What happened to her supposed calm and collected demeanor?
"What if he threatens you, threatens federal security?"
"I'll accept it if I fall for him again. But if he poses a threat to the Federation, I'll bear the consequences."
To put it bluntly, she's still protecting Jiang Chenrui. When will she ever protect him like this?
Ning Jue shook her head, dismissing such unrealistic thoughts, and unusually assertive, said, "Don't forget his background. What if he harms the people? Why do you think you can afford the consequences?"

"Isn't this just leaving you speechless, and I just want to shut you up?"
"Am I wrong? You're right—humph!" Lian Han turned her face away, not wanting to pay attention to him, but the red tips of her ears under her black hair couldn't lie.
"What do you think of my proposal now? If he killed the person, I hope you will stay away from him in the future; if not, then I apologize for being prejudiced and I can grant you any request."
"It's possible. But I don't agree with you checking."
"How can that be proven?"
Lian Han waved the smart device in his hand. "Just ask."
