Passing by his sister's bedroom for the third time, Ling Ze finally couldn't help but look at the young man in front of the door. "Hey, you've been standing here for almost two hours. Don't you have to go to the military headquarters today?"
"I was wrong. I should be punished."
"What did you do?" Ling Ze asked curiously.
"It almost harmed Xiaohan."
Ling Ze's expression changed. "What happened? What's going on?"
Ling Yue had no intention of explaining. Her face was as cold as ice, as if she wanted to stare a hole through the door. "Go ask Rong Qi."
Rong Qi should be at the military headquarters right now. Where am I supposed to find him?
Ling Ze glanced at him again, ignoring the cold air around him, and knocked on the door, "Little sister, want to go out and play?"
The door opened quickly. "Cousin, have you finished your homework?"
Lian Han looked at him calmly. Someone had said he could finish the treatment in two days, but it turned out to take a whole month.
Ling Ze gave an awkward smile. "You need to balance work and rest. Are you going or not? If you go, I'll make plans with someone else."
"I don't want to go. I'm sad." The girl pouted, her aggrieved expression combined with her alluring face was simply irresistible.
However, Ling Ze had spent almost a month with her, and his immunity had improved somewhat. "Who bullied you? Let's go beat him up together, okay?"
"Liz beat him up."
"Then don't be sad. If it really doesn't work, beat him up a few more times. Or we can help you get revenge. Who was that person?"
"Han Ningshu".
Ling Ze's lips twitched. "Um, let's leave it to my eldest and second eldest brothers. The age gap is too big; I can't beat them. Shall we wait for my eldest brother to come back?"
"Oh." Lian Han nodded. "Cousin, I'm hungry."
"Okay. You don't want the insect meat, right? Have someone prepare it right away. Shall we eat at the restaurant, or should I bring it up to you?"
"Restaurant bar."
"Then you wait here."
Ling Ze left, leaving only Lian Han and Ling Yue at the door.
"Nothing to say?"
"sorry."
"Anything else?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't expect Han Ningshu to abandon you." They were of equal rank, and it wasn't uncommon for Han Ningshu to ignore his orders. But this time, he was after his younger sister's life.
"Is the military really like this, willing to disregard the lives of others for the sake of a mission?"
There won't be a next time.
There was no direct denial. Lian Han suddenly stopped being annoyed. "I will not join the military, never."
"Okay." The military has enough of him and his older brother.
"Let's go then." Lian Han took a few steps, then noticed Ling Yue hadn't followed. He turned to look at her. "Are you hungry?"
"Aren't angry anymore?"
"It wasn't your order." She just couldn't stop him. Besides, she knew he'd been standing at her door for so long.
"Okay." The young man finally relaxed his clenched fist.
As they approached the restaurant, Lian Han suddenly turned to ask, "Second Brother, do you always clench your fist because you're nervous?"
The young man left, putting his hands behind his back. "No."
Seeing his reaction, Lian Han knew she had guessed correctly. "Oh. I always thought you clenched your fist because you wanted to punch someone."
So the younger sister wasn't very close to him, partly because he was cold, and partly because he clenched his fists.
Ling Yue opened her mouth, "No."
"Okay, I understand."
Lian Han turned and went into the restaurant. [This older brother is quite interesting.]
Don't bully honest people.
[Where? I have no idea how badly Liz beat him up.]
[As you instructed, it should have been slapped in that kid's face.]
Lian Han: [That's for the best. I hate two-faced people the most.]
Are you sure it's not because someone made you waste a Guardian Card? What a vengeful girl. Old Man Xing thought to himself.
What Lian Han was most satisfied with at the Ling family home was probably their food; it was absolutely delicious and rarely repeated.
After dinner, Lian Han went back to his studio, engrossed in making cards. Meanwhile, Ling Yue, risking freezing to death, was stopped in the living room by Ling Ze. He was determined to find out exactly what had happened to Han Ningshu's sister…
Time slipped away as Lian Han spent his days making cards and his nights practicing with Butterfly Shadow cards, and finally September 1st arrived.
Young Master Ling personally drove his younger siblings to school, and before leaving, he didn't forget to tell them, "The procedures have all been completed. It's just that Di Luo is quite strict, so you'll have to stay at the Armor Academy for now. You can apply to transfer to another academy after a month."
"I know." Lian Han nodded. She had already found out about Di Luo's situation back on Mu Luo Star.
"What hospital transfer?"
"You should just pray you pass your holiday homework." Ling Xin glanced at him and patted her sister's shoulder. "Go on. When you're free, let Ling Ze show you around the school."
"Goodbye then." Lian Han smiled and walked into dormitory building No. 03.
Dilu has a system where students live on campus, and it's said that only seniors can apply to live off-campus. However, they can go back home on weekends.
Diluo offers a variety of dormitories, including deluxe single and double rooms, as well as rooms for three, four, and six people. The choice is entirely up to the student. Ling Xin, considering that two people could look after each other, booked a double room for her.
Dormitory Building 03 is entirely composed of double rooms.
Dormitory 218 has a private bedroom, while the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are shared by two people.
It was fairly clean. Lian Han glanced at the living room and kitchen before heading straight to his bedroom number 1.
It has everything you should have, including a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, a SkyNet connection capsule, and a cleaning robot. It also has everything you shouldn't have.
Lian Han started the robot, had it clean the room, and then went out.
Just then, the dormitory door opened, and a girl carrying her luggage came in, panting.
