0011 Resistance
"Xiaoyue, what has your older brother been busy with lately?" Shu Siya asked, taking advantage of Song Yue's break from doing her homework to inquire about Su Mingxi.
Song Yue paused for a moment, then continued writing the title.
These past few days, class time has been getting shorter and shorter. Most of the time, Song Yue is doing problems that interest her. She found these problems online and had Su Mingxi print them out. Some of them are even related to junior high school content.
After she finishes, Shu Siya will explain some of the more difficult points, but because the content is quite broad, some questions are beyond her knowledge, and sometimes she can't explain them clearly.
Shu Siya looked at the girl who was engrossed in doing her homework. After teaching her for the past few days, she could clearly see the changes in her.
From being clueless to stumbling along the way, it has become what it is today.
She was slender and nestled in front of the table, engrossed in the questions, which often left her questions unanswered.
She understood Song Yue's personality, but recently Shu Siya had vaguely sensed a change in Song Yue's attitude towards her.
Although Shu Siya didn't sense her kindness towards her at first.
But now it seems there's some dislike.
When you ask her questions, you are often ignored; she seems ill-mannered.
Even if we weren't familiar with each other before, a few days of getting to know each other would have been enough, but lately she's been ignoring me more and more.
What right does this so-called younger sister who suddenly appeared have to give her attitude? If it weren't for Su Mingxi's sake, who would be willing to waste their evening tutoring time for her?
"Xiaoyue, am I talking to you? Can you answer me? How will you communicate and get along with others in the future if you act like this?" Shu Siya frowned, her voice somewhat sharp.
Song Yue stopped, lowered her eyes, and the air around her seemed to quiet down.
Despite being just a little girl, she inexplicably made Shu Siya feel somewhat depressed.
But time was of the essence, so she could only continue to inquire.
"Xiaoyue, do you know? Can you tell me?"
The girl remained completely still, her fingers gripping the pen tightly until the tips turned white, and her previously relaxed body tensed up.
Shu Siya glanced at the time; class was almost over.
"Xiaoyue, I didn't mean anything by it, I just wanted to chat with you." Shu Siya softened her tone, pretending that the conversation had just drifted to this topic unintentionally.
Song Yue raised her head, her gaze falling lightly on her, as if she could see through all her pretense.
Shu Siya took an uneasy step back, as if all her inner thoughts had been laid bare.
Shu Siya's face paled, and she hurriedly said, "It's almost time tonight, I'll be leaving now."
He then grabbed the bag behind him and hurriedly walked towards the door.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw a familiar figure standing there, raising his hand to knock.
Seeing that it was almost time, Su Mingxi was about to come over and call her sister to go upstairs to get something to eat and rest early.
Song Yue has a weak constitution, so he would give her an extra meal at night, mainly soups and broths, so he wouldn't worry about her gaining weight from eating late at night.
Su Mingxi secretly wished she could gain some weight; her frail body, held in his arms at night, was truly heartbreaking.
When Su Mingxi saw that it was Shu Siya who opened the door, her smile faded a bit, and she said to her in a polite but distant tone, "Thank you for your help these past few days. I think that according to Yueyue's learning progress, I won't need to bother you anymore in a couple of days."
Upon hearing this, Shu Siya felt a pang of anxiety and quickly said, "It's okay, I really like Xiaoyue, her studies..."
Just as he was about to say something about extending his teaching time here, he heard the girl's voice behind him refusing: "No need, Teacher Shu doesn't need to come tomorrow."
Now Song Yue speaks fluently and is gradually learning to express her opinions and feelings.
The girl's voice was still soft and gentle, but it carried a sense of determination.
Song Yue stepped out from behind Shu Siya and stood next to Su Mingxi, her eyes fixed on Shu Siya. She repeated, "Teacher Shu, thank you for teaching me these past few days, but you don't need to come tomorrow."
Shu Siya stared at her expressionless face, speechless for a moment, her mouth slightly agape in a daze.
Su Mingxi knew that Song Yue was a good girl and that she wouldn't be hostile to anyone without a reason.
Having been at home for so long, her brothers all had a good impression of her and liked to tease her from time to time.
Since it's not my younger sister's problem, then it must be hers.
Su Mingxi's gaze followed Song Yue's and landed on Shu Siya, filled with shame, anger, resentment, and a slight fear.
"What happened?"
He gently placed one hand on Song Yue's shoulder, pulled the little one closer to him, and asked softly.
Song Yue stared at Shu Siya, her eyes fixed on her, without answering Su Mingxi's question.
Shu Siya wanted to refute, wanted to say something more, but under that gaze, she couldn't utter a single word.
Finally, she choked up and said, "Then...then I'll go back first."
Su Mingxi was only concerned about whether his girl had suffered any injustice and completely ignored Shu Siya's words.
Shu Siya felt embarrassed and annoyed, glared at the two of them resentfully, and then strode away.
Once the other person disappeared, Su Mingxi's eyes flickered slightly. She was just someone she knew, and she had paid a fee to have her come and teach Xiaoyue. How dare she look at Xiaoyue like that?
It seems that I really can't stay by Xiaoyue's side anymore.
P.S.: The female lead is still growing and is the group's darling in the early stages~ So even if there are explicit scenes, it's just the male leads keeping their desires to themselves~
