0027 Approval of Leave

0027 Approval of Leave

Life at home was peaceful and warm. Song Yue had already completed her high school studies on her own. However, Su Mingxi wanted her to experience high school life, so the plan to send her to live with Su He'an in September continued.

That evening after dinner, everyone was leisurely sitting on the sofa watching a movie when Song Yue's phone suddenly rang.

The brothers all turned to look, and surprisingly, the same thought popped into their minds at the same time.

Who called her?

I glanced around, and all my brothers were there.

Song Yue took out her phone and glanced at the screen. She immediately beamed with joy, her eyes lighting up instantly.

Su Mingxi asked gently, "Yueyue, who called?"

"It's Uncle! Uncle finally contacted me!" Song Yue pressed the answer button.

Su Huarong helped her turn on the speakerphone, and a deep, familiar voice rang out.

"Yueyue, have you eaten?"

"Yes, I just finished eating. Uncle, have you eaten yet?" Song Yue said happily, holding her phone.

She had been wanting to contact Su Cheng, but her brothers said that their uncle was very busy with work, so she felt embarrassed to call and bother him again.

"What are you doing now?" Su Cheng had been busy outside for a long time and finally found some free time tonight, so he quickly called.

Song Yue looked at the brothers around her and said in a clear, slightly sweet voice, "I'm watching a movie with my brothers."

"...Is it in the living room?"

Su Cheng had assumed she was in her room, but she turned out to be in the living room.

"Are your older brothers going to the movies with you?"

Song Yue looked at her six older brothers with a grin, "They're all here."

Su Cheng, sitting opposite him, was taken aback; he hadn't expected his sons to suddenly be so patient.

Seeing that Su Cheng was about to continue asking questions, Su Feiyang couldn't stand it anymore and took the phone from Song Yue's hand. "Dad, what exactly do you want to say? We still want to watch the movie."

There was a noticeable pause on the other end, followed by a surprised question: "I was talking to Yueyue, not chatting with you guys."

"..."

Su Feihang took the phone and said calmly, "Dad, get to the point, otherwise you'll definitely forget about it when you get busy."

Although I knew my twin sons were known to be sarcastic, this was the first time I'd ever been so speechless.

"Alright, let's get down to business. Children's Day is in a few days, and I happen to have some free time to go back to China for a few days. I can take Yueyue out to play."

Upon hearing this, Song Yue's eyes lit up immediately: "Really? Uncle! When are you coming back?"

It had been a long time since Su Cheng had spent time with Song Yue, but even without seeing her, he could tell from her good mood that she seemed to have changed a lot since he left.

All of this is thanks to the sons in the family.

Su Cheng found it incredible. Although his sons didn't know them very well, they weren't exactly good at taking care of people. Only the eldest son was somewhat decent.

"I'll be back in a few days. Uncle will take you out to play then. You should think about where to go in the next few days!"

"OK."

Su He'an muttered softly from the side, "How old are they? Still talking about Children's Day?"

Su Chengbi, who was sitting next to him, heard this and flicked his forehead hard.

"Ouch! Fifth Brother, what are you doing?!"

Su He'an held his forehead and glared impatiently at Su Chengbi.

Su Chengbi gave him a look that said, "You understand."

Song Yue and Su Cheng had just agreed on a return time when someone seemed to be calling Su Cheng from the other end of the line, and the call was abruptly ended.

"Great! Uncle is coming back!" Song Yue cheered, her face beaming with obvious joy.

Su Mingxi took her small hand and said, "Okay, Dad won't be back for several more days. I'll take you to pick him up then."

"Okay! I'll show my grades to my uncle later, he'll be very happy."

Su Mingxi replied indulgently, "Okay."

Su Huarong glanced at their intertwined hands, her expression one of suppressed melancholy.

The other brothers weren't really that moved by Su Cheng's return, since coming and going back and forth within a year was quite normal.

Sometimes when we're busy, it's normal to not see each other for months.

What's on my mind is Children's Day.

My younger sister had a tough childhood, and it all passed by in a blur. Her brothers wanted to take advantage of Children's Day to give her some fun.

Take this opportunity, the whole family can find a place to have some fun together, preferably somewhere with fewer people.

Unbeknownst to Song Yue, the brothers secretly adjusted their work schedules.

At the university, Shi Xiangyang glanced at Su Mingxi's leave slip and teased, "I can't believe that the model professor who used to work diligently and never skip class even when he was sick is taking leave on Children's Day? Are you taking your sister out to play?"

"……kindness."

Shi Xiangyang raised an eyebrow and said with a teasing smile, "You're really raising a daughter!"

Su Mingxi gave Shi Xiangyang a cold glance and left.

At the hospital, Su Huarong switched shifts with someone else, specifically setting aside two days of free time.

Su Feihang and Su Feiyang cancelled all their activities for those two days.

Su Chengbi instructed his assistant: "I have something to do in a couple of days. Adjust all the business for those two days forward or backward. If it can't be adjusted, cancel it."

The assistant glanced at the iPad filled with tasks, nodded silently, and sighed inwardly: Ever since the boss had a younger sister, things have changed. The workaholic boss has actually started taking time off...

As for Su He'an, needless to say, his grades were already bad, so it didn't matter whether he was in the class or not. He simply went to the teacher and got a few days off.

P.S.: I could definitely write about Yueyue starting school during the Mid-Autumn Festival!! A whole bunch of things will happen once she starts school!!

If it's not mentioned, then pretend I never said it.
