0051 Menarche

0051 Menarche

These past few days, Song Yue has been visibly unwell.

Her face was pale, and her body ached from time to time, especially her stomach, which would occasionally cramp suddenly.

Su Huarong asked her worriedly if she was frightened by what happened a few days ago, but Song Yue felt it had nothing to do with that incident.

Finally, Su Mingxi decided to take her to the hospital for a check-up over the weekend.

On Saturday morning, Song Yue woke up groggily, her back aching terribly and her inner thighs feeling sticky.

She was startled. Had she... wet the bed last night?!

Before she could even react, her stomach started cramping repeatedly.

Her face turned pale instantly. She weakly used her hands to support herself, and when she lifted the blanket to look down, she saw a pool of blood.

The sight of blood struck her heart, and time seemed to stand still for several minutes.

The next moment, her tears started falling uncontrollably.

Thinking about the strange physical symptoms she had experienced these past few days, including constant cramping and a dull ache in her abdomen, she wept silently.

She shrank back in fear, but as soon as she moved, the sensation below became clear, as if something was constantly flowing out of her body.

She pulled up the covers, curled up on the bed, and sat there blankly with unfocused eyes.

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

Song Yue trembled. She was afraid. She didn't dare tell anyone, but she desperately wanted someone to comfort her.

The doorbell rang a few times, and the cell phone next to the bed also started vibrating.

She slowly reached out with trembling hands, and sure enough, it was her eldest brother.

"What's wrong? Aren't you up yet?" It's getting late, but Song Yue hasn't been sleeping well lately, so it's rare for her to still be awake so late.

Song Yue couldn't hold back her tears as soon as she opened her mouth, and Su Mingxi across from her immediately became anxious: "What's wrong? Don't cry, I'm coming in."

The door was suddenly flung open, and rapid footsteps could be heard as the bedroom door was kicked open.

Su Mingxi strode over and sat down beside her. "Yueyue, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Did you have a nightmare?"

He looked her up and down to make sure she wasn't injured, but then a faint smell of blood wafted over.

She still had a mournful face, and her eyes were a little swollen from crying.

He could only patiently ask in a gentle tone, "Do you remember? Big Brother said that no matter what happens, I can tell Big Brother."

Song Yue raised her eyes, sniffed, and silently lifted the corner of the blanket.

As soon as the blanket was pulled back, a strong smell of blood rushed out, and Su Mingxi's face changed instantly.

He stepped forward and yanked back the blanket, seeing a patch of blood on the sheet in the middle. His eyes flickered slightly as he slowly approached Song Yue and gently asked, "Are you injured anywhere?"

Song Yue shook her head blankly.

"Big brother... am I going to die!" As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes again and fell drop by drop.

Su Mingxi didn't know whether to feel sorry for her or happy; the little girl she had been waiting for so long had finally grown up.

Seeing the little girl crying so hard, he didn't know how to start a conversation with her. But knowing that she must be uncomfortable wearing dirty pants, he picked her up and took her into the bathroom to get some warm water.

"Change your pants first. I'll go get you something. I'll talk to you later." Su Mingxi touched her pale and haggard face. "Don't take a bath today, just take a shower."

Song Yue felt sticky and uncomfortable, but she hadn't been able to concentrate earlier. Now that she saw Su Mingxi, she felt reassured and her heart calmed down.

As soon as Su Mingxi left the house, she rushed downstairs to a nearby store to buy sanitary napkins.

When he rushed back, the little girl was still fidgeting in the bathroom, her muffled voice coming out: "Big brother, I've been bleeding..."

"Look at this thing, the instructions are here. Do you know how to use it? You can put it on your stomach so it won't get dirty."

The door opened a crack, and Su Mingxi quickly stuffed the sanitary napkin inside. She explained to the girl how to use it from the doorway, boiled some water, and tidied the sheets.

When the door opened, the little girl came out, wiggling her bottom unhappily: "Big brother, this cushion is so uncomfortable."

"Just bear with it, you'll get used to it."

As soon as Song Yue left, Su Mingxi picked her up again and tucked her under the covers. "Drink some hot water. Is your stomach upset?"

"Big brother, am I about to die?" Song Yue pouted, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Su Mingxi looked at her with affection and chuckled, "Silly girl, this is normal. Every girl goes through this as she grows up."

No wonder she's been feeling weak and having stomach cramps these past few days.

Song Yue: "Really? Girls are so pitiful." She felt extremely wronged that she had to bleed so much every month and suffer so much.

Su Mingxi affectionately patted her head, her fluffy hair soft and ticklish: "Okay, if you feel uncomfortable, take a nap. I'll go make you something to eat and bring it over."

Song Yue had no appetite and didn't want to eat.

Su Mingxi understood what she meant and could only coax her, "If you don't eat, you'll feel even worse later."

"Okay, fine."

Meanwhile, Su Huarong arrived at the hospital early to prepare for Song Yue's medical examination, but no one came after a long wait.

He called me directly.

Su Mingxi picked up her phone and glanced at the name. She looked back at the little girl who had just finished breakfast and was being put to sleep by her, and slowly walked out of the room and said to him, "We're not going to the hospital for a check-up today. She's had her first period."

The person on the other end was taken aback, clearly not expecting this reason, but a secret joy welled up from a deep corner of their heart the next moment.

"Okay, I understand." Su Huarong hung up the phone, her heart already flying home.

Thinking about the possible reactions a girl might have when she gets her period for the first time, he took some painkillers and went straight home.

When lunchtime came, the whole family knew about it and confirmed that she wasn't sick. Her brothers breathed a sigh of relief, but they still felt sorry for her because she was so uncomfortable that she couldn't even get out of bed to eat.

After dinner, her brothers came to her room, where Su Mingxi was coaxing her to eat a few more bites.

That day, she already knew what had happened to her. Seeing several brothers gathering around, she humiliated and angrily crawled under the covers.

"I'm fine, you can all go back now." A muffled voice came from under the covers.

Su Mingxi naturally went along with her wishes and had his brothers leave.

Although they only caught a glimpse of her, her pale and bloodless face broke the hearts of her brothers.
