0045 Performance
Song Yue had no idea that Mi Chuxue had gone to see Su He'an. She only saw Mi Chuxue rushing in from outside when she was getting ready to rest, but she didn't pay much attention to it.
Time was quickly coming to an end; tomorrow would be the last day. Wan Lanlan lay on the grass, holding an electric fan in her hand, glancing at the training sessions of the other classes next door, and sighed softly, "Finally, it'll be over tomorrow. I feel like I've lived here for a century."
After a few days, the group got to know each other. However, when Su He'an saw Yin Xingjin chatting with Song Yue, he realized that the two had been in the same orphanage, which made him feel a little nervous.
Jiang Xinglan tugged at her collar, took a big gulp of her drink, and then pressed the ice bottle against her face: "Yeah, I was almost sunburnt and my skin was peeling off. Luckily, Song Yue's sunscreen saved me. Otherwise, I would definitely have peeled off a layer of skin after military training."
Song Yue laughed and said, "I told you to apply it before, but you didn't, and you even laughed at others."
Su He'an drank his water silently. He didn't actually like applying this stuff; he was just forced to.
Yang Mingxuan chuckled.
Jiang Xinglan pouted: "Who knew I'd get so tanned? I'm practically dried out!"
Wan Lanlan hugged the electric fan: "Thank goodness for Yueyue, otherwise I would have turned into a dried-up human body! And a wrinkled one at that."
Yin Xingjin sat to one side, sipping water, his gaze occasionally falling on Song Yue.
Among this group of people whose faces were red from the sun and who were drenched in sweat, she sat quietly, speaking softly. Despite wearing a hat and a mask, a simple and bright smile shone from her eyes, making one feel as if the surrounding air was fresher.
Su He'an gripped the water bottle tightly, her eyes flashing slightly. In the brief moment while Song Yue was speaking to Wan Lanlan, she cast a warning glance at Yin Xingjin.
Yin Xingjin sensed that ever since Su He'an learned that he and Song Yue came from the same orphanage and that the two had a good relationship before, Su He'an had inexplicably become somewhat hostile towards him.
It wasn't obvious when he was in the dormitory, but as soon as he spoke a few more words to Song Yue or glanced at her a few more times, you could clearly feel his rejection.
"Alright, you don't need to train tonight. You can rest and watch the performance..." Song Yue pointed to the stage that was being set up not far away.
Wan Lanlan was also very interested: "Anything is fine as long as there's no training!"
Jiang Xinglan immediately put her arm around Yang Mingxuan's neck: "Come early tonight to get a good spot, otherwise you won't be able to see anything from the back."
Yang Mingxuan glanced at him and nodded.
Su He'an asked Song Yue, "Have you packed all your things? My brother said he'll come pick us up after tomorrow's event."
Song Yue thought for a moment: "There's still a little bit left, but most of it is either used up or going to be thrown away."
"Then everyone come early after dinner tonight!" Jiang Xinglan wanted to stand up and cheer loudly.
Yang Mingxuan immediately pulled him aside and whispered in his ear, "Do you want to loudly tell everyone that you're coming early to grab a spot?"
Jiang Xinglan shook her head and then sat down quietly.

After dinner, Wan Lanlan quickly took a shower and then pulled Song Yue downstairs.
Upon arriving at the venue, I saw that there were already many people inside.
"Wow, no way, why are they all here so early! Did they come without even taking a shower?!" Wan Lanlan cried out, her face contorted with misery.
Song Yue patted her shoulder silently, "It's alright now. Let's find a good spot quickly, or we really won't be able to see anything later."
Wan Lanlan reacted instantly, pulling Song Yue along as they ran forward, "Yes, yes, let's quickly find a good spot, a good spot up ahead."
Fortunately, although there were a lot of people from behind, there were still many good spots at the front. The two of them weaved through the crowd and finally squeezed in.
Just a few minutes after sitting down, Song Yue saw Su He'an and a few others coming from the front.
Wan Lanlan glanced around and found there were no seats left.
Su and An spotted the two of them immediately and turned to walk over.
When they got to Song Yue's row, they looked around and saw that there were still seats available, but they were scattered and not connected.
Jiang Xinglan said, "Su He'an, you go with them. We'll find another spot." Then she pulled Yang Mingxuan away.
Yin Xingjin remained standing still.
Su He'an ignored him and walked over, standing in front of Song Yue. She looked at the girl sitting next to her and asked, "Could we switch seats?"
The girl froze, staring intently at him.
"Could we switch seats?" he asked again, but the other person still didn't react. Song Yue looked over curiously as well.
Su He'an frowned slightly, his patience about to run out.
It was only when her friend sitting next to her tugged at her that she jumped up in fright, saying, "Okay, okay," and ran off with her handbag.
Her friend went along with her.
Yin Xingjin walked over and sat down next to Su He'an.
Su He'an glanced at him and felt a little like punching him.
No wonder they didn't follow me earlier and stayed close by; that's what they were thinking!
"After you finish watching, get some rest tonight. We'll go home tomorrow after our event." Su He'an felt extremely sorry for her, looking at her face, which had become much thinner over the past week.
If my brothers see this tomorrow, the house will be in big trouble.
Her already thin face has become even thinner in the past few days. It's not Song Yue's fault, but it's just that it's not as comfortable here as it is at home. She doesn't sleep well at night and can only take a nap during the day when no one is around.
"Okay." Song Yue's gaze was fixed on the stage as she responded.

Mi Chuxue and Yu Binglan had been preparing for a long time.
Despite feeling ashamed that night downstairs in the boys' dormitory, after a few days of calm, she still couldn't help but feel her heart race whenever she saw Su and An.
Although I knew he wasn't interested in these kinds of performances, I still secretly hoped he would come.
During the break between shows, she secretly hid behind a curtain and peered out, but it was too dark to see the faces of the people in the audience.
Mi Chuxue returned to the backstage area with no other option.
Yu Binglan comforted her, "It's okay... This kind of thing isn't important. Once we get back to school, you won't have to worry about not having another chance."
Hearing this, Mi Chuxue felt much better, thinking that the military training would end tomorrow and the two of them would be able to study in the same classroom and have more opportunities to see and spend time together.
One by one, the performers took to the stage, with their group dance performance serving as the grand finale.
As soon as I stepped onto the stage, I could hear a chorus of cheers and jeers from below.
The audience, consisting of teenagers in their adolescence, suddenly erupted in excitement when they saw a group of girls dressed in hot clothes and sexy pants, picking out hot items on stage.
The hype was immediately pushed to its peak.
On stage, Mi Chuxue swayed to the rhythm of the music, her dance moves completely obscured by the stage lights, making it impossible for the audience to see her.
But the sound was transmitted completely, and the boys below the stage could be heard shouting.
The people on stage danced even more energetically.
Song Yue was also excited by the situation and was pulled up by Wan Lanlan to stand up and cheer her on.
Su He'an felt that she had made the right decision. Fortunately, she hadn't thought about letting her integrate into the group or participate in any performance activities. Just look at what those girls were wearing.
If my brothers find out that Song Yue wore that kind of outfit to dance, I probably won't be able to get into the house tomorrow.
The stage was exciting, and the audience below was also in high spirits. The event was a great success and ended at nine o'clock in the evening.
As the crowd dispersed, Wan Lanlan, on her way back to the dormitory, took Song Yue's arm and said, "Suddenly, I feel a little reluctant to leave..."
"If I let you train for another day..."
"Forget it! Let's go home tomorrow. I want to eat my mom's braised pig's trotters." Wan Lanlan shook her head frantically, refusing to come another day!
"I want to go home too."
This is the first time Song Yue has been away from home for so many days since she came to this family. She suddenly misses her brothers back home.
Go to bed early tonight.
P.S.: I'm finally almost home, and I miss my older brother too.
