0025 Brothers' Confession
Upon arriving at school, Song Yue spontaneously ran over and occupied her favorite sofa, where she began reading.
"Yueyue, how about you go to school with He'an in September?" Su Mingxi slowly told her her plan.
The child is still young, and it's best for her to integrate into the group. There are many peers of her age at school, and she can also go out and see more of the world.
Song Yue paused, looked up at the serious look in Su Mingxi's eyes, then lowered her gaze and remained silent.
Su Mingxi approached and squatted down in front of her, saying softly, "When the time comes, you'll go to He'an's class. With him there, no one will bully you."
Song Yue pursed her lips, and after a long while, said, "Do I really have to go?"
Seeing her like this, Su Mingxi felt incredibly soft-hearted, but in the end, she hardened her heart and said, "Why don't you try it first? If you don't like it, we can come back and skip class, okay?"
Song Yue touched the pages of the book with her fingertips, then looked at her older brother squatting in front of her before nodding slightly.
Su Mingxi stood up, leaned her little head against him, and patted her head with his big hand. "Don't be afraid, your big brother will take you there. If you need anything, just ask He'an. If you don't like it after you get there, we'll come back."
Song Yue leaned against his waist, nuzzled his head, and then reluctantly agreed.
That afternoon, seeing that Song Yue was in a bad mood, Su Mingxi took the girl home after class.
During dinner, Su Mingxi told his brothers about the matter.
"Yueyue is learning very quickly. I plan to have her go to school with He'an in the second half of the year."
Su Huarong glanced at the little girl, whose lips were slightly pursed, but she did not object, presumably indicating that she agreed.
"Then go ahead, and come back if you don't like it."
Since the eldest and second eldest brothers in the family had said so, the other brothers, even if they were reluctant, could only keep quiet about it.
After the meal, Su He'an noticed that Song Yue seemed a bit down, so he walked over to her and said, "Song Yue, don't be afraid. You'll be in the same class as me, and I'll arrange for you to sit with me. We'll come back early after class."
Song Yue couldn't really explain her inner thoughts.
She wanted to go to school and play with other people like Su and An, but she was also afraid of this change.
Song Yue sincerely said to Su He'an, "Okay."
No matter what, she eventually had to take that step; she couldn't stay hidden behind her brothers forever.
Su Chengbi, who was about to return to his room after dinner, saw Su He'an and Song Yue sitting on the sofa whispering to each other. Her expression was noticeably better than when they were eating. Only then did he look away, pick up his laptop, and head to the elevator.
After tidying up the kitchen, Su Mingxi glanced at the time and called to Song Yue, "Yueyue, go wash up first."
"Okay." Song Yue quickly went back to her room to wash up.
Every night after washing up, Su Mingxi would give Song Yue tutoring time, and Song Yue would go to Su Mingxi's room.
All the brothers in the family knew about it, but none of them bothered them.
That evening, when it was almost time for her tutoring session, Su Huarong went to find Song Yue.
I rang the doorbell a few times, but there was no response from inside. Could it be that her tutoring session wasn't over yet?
Su Huarong suppressed her thoughts and waited for her.
But after a long time, the little girl still didn't come out of Su Mingxi's room.
He leaned against the corridor wall, hidden in the darkness, with only the faint light of his cell phone occasionally flickering on.
Around 10 o'clock, Su Huarong picked up her phone and contacted Su Mingxi.
"Do you tutor her until this late every night? I told you before that she wasn't in good health..." Su Huarong suppressed her anger and said in a low voice to the person on the other end of the phone.
Su Mingxi was somewhat surprised. Looking at the little girl who was already sleeping peacefully, she silently walked quickly towards the door.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw a figure walking towards me from not far away.
Su Mingxi left the door slightly ajar, put down her phone, and walked towards the other person. "What are you doing here? What do you want with Yueyue?"
"Big brother, I told you before that she's not in good health. Why is she still having tutoring until this late at night?" Su Huarong was clearly angry about Su Mingxi's actions.
Su Mingxi said, "No, she's asleep now."
Su Huarong swallowed her words abruptly, "Asleep? I haven't seen her come back since around 7 o'clock. Did she go back to her room earlier? Besides, I rang the doorbell..."
She sleeps in my room.
"..." Su Huarong was stunned.
Su Mingxi never thought of hiding his feelings. Ever since he made up his mind to wait for her to grow up, he no longer worried about these things.
Su Huarong was a little taken aback, and after regaining her senses, she said, "Big brother, although Yueyue looks quite young, she's already 16, and she's not related to us by blood...you..."
Su Huarong couldn't explain why she felt a pang of bitterness in her heart at that moment.
The thought of his adorable younger sister sleeping in his older brother's room, just like when she slept in his own room without any guard, filled him with anger and jealousy.
Looking at Su Huarong's somewhat distorted face, Su Mingxi said, "I know, she's still young, I know what I'm doing."
In one sentence, it seemed to explain something, but Su Huarong understood it perfectly.
After saying that, Su Mingxi turned around and went back to her room, leaving Su Huarong standing there stunned.
P.S.: Okay, okay, the two eldest brothers understand each other now.
