Chapter 32 Nami Ozawa's Call

Song Lingshan grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the bedroom without saying a word.

"..."

Su Luo followed her footsteps, hesitatingly saying, "Maybe...maybe we shouldn't. If the employees see us tomorrow, they'll gossip."

"Let them do as they please."

Song Lingshan was not afraid of gossip. When she and Su Luo were together at school, many people gossiped, saying that they were not a good match and that Su Luo was only after her money.

She didn't take it to heart at all. Dating is a matter between two people and has nothing to do with outsiders.

Only you know if the shoes fit.

Su Luo couldn't refuse Song Lingshan, so she could only obediently lie down on the bed, in the very edge, as if she were avoiding her.

Song Lingshan forcefully pulled Su Luo over, then hugged him tightly in her arms, gently kissed his smooth forehead, and slowly closed her eyes.

Su Luo, smelling the faint rose scent on her, obediently quieted down.

...

The trip is over.

Su Luo took a taxi home as soon as she got off the plane.

Carrying the gift prepared for Su Jiani, he excitedly rang the doorbell.

Su Jianni was reading comics in her bedroom when she heard the doorbell. Without even putting on her shoes, she rushed to the living room and opened the door.

"Nini, I'm back."

Su Jiani excitedly rushed into Su Luo's arms and hugged him tightly.

"Dad, you're finally home!"

Although it had only been a day, it felt like an eternity to her.

Su Luo was struggling to breathe as her daughter strangled her, and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Sweetie, you're back now. I brought Nini a present."

As he spoke, he shook the gift box in his hand.

Su Jianni released Su Luo, her eyes lit up, and she took the gift box.

"Wow, let me see what it is!"

Holding the gift box, I sat down on the sofa and opened the lid.

Inside were seashells of various colors, as well as pearl bracelets and butterfly hair clips.

Su Jiani excitedly put the bracelet on her wrist and the butterfly hair clip on her head, then raised her hand to Su Luo with a showy smile.

Is it pretty?

"She looks beautiful! Nini is pretty, she looks good in anything!"

He was telling the truth. Su Jianni had fair skin, delicate features like a porcelain doll, long, black hair like seaweed, and a tall, well-proportioned figure. She would definitely be a great beauty when she grew up.

Previously, a film and television company had approached him to ask Nini to be a print model, but he didn't want Su Jiani to enter the entertainment industry at such a young age, so he decisively refused.

Therefore, Su Jianni's beauty is an objective fact, not his subjective opinion.

"So happy!!!"

As soon as Su Jianni finished speaking, her stomach started growling.

"I'm hungry..."

"Okay, I'll go cook now."

As Su Luo spoke, she went into the kitchen and, as usual, prepared four dishes and a soup.

I ate with Su Jiani.

After finishing my meal, I went into the bedroom, changed into my pajamas, and lay down on the bed. I felt so sleepy; it seemed like I had eaten too much and my blood pressure was high.

I had just fallen asleep when my phone started vibrating.

Su Luo reached for her pillow, picked up her phone, glanced at the caller ID—it was Ozawa Nami—and promptly answered the call.

"Hello."

"Su Luo, do you have time to have dinner together tonight?"

Su Luo then remembered that she had promised Ozawa Nami that she would treat her to a meal.

But he had just finished eating and was quite full, so he felt bad if he went there and didn't eat anything, he admitted.

"Sorry, I've finished eating. How about tomorrow?"

Nami Ozawa said with difficulty, "I'll be busy tomorrow."

Su Luo glanced at the wall clock; it was 6:30 PM. Going out for dinner wouldn't take long, and besides, he owed Ozawa Nami a meal, which he had to make up for.

Since they had already said that, Su Luo couldn't very well refuse.

"Okay, is there anything you'd like to eat?"

"Anything is fine with me, I'm not picky, I trust your taste."

What Nami Ozawa said put Su Luo in a difficult position.

Su Luo's favorite place is the open-air food stalls, which are delicious and affordable.

But Ozawa Nami's outfit was enough to buy out the entire street food stall. The environment was terrible and too down-to-earth. How could I possibly invite her to eat in a place like that?

Embarrassingly, after buying Su Jiani a gift, Su Luo only had a little over 800 yuan left in his pocket.

My salary won't be paid for another few days.

Su Luo hesitated.

As if sensing Su Luo's predicament, Ozawa Nami kindly offered her help.

"Actually, I really want to eat some street food; it's been a long time since I've had any."

Su Luo was so moved he almost cried. This woman was truly an angel, so considerate of others. He readily agreed.

"Okay, I'll send you my location, and we'll meet at the restaurant."

"No need, I'm nearby, I'll come pick you up."

"Then I'll have to trouble you."

After hanging up the phone, Su Luo changed into casual clothes, put on a black baseball cap, and said goodbye to Su Jiani.

He then left the room.
