Chapter 36 Ozawa Nami and Song Lingshan meet

Zhang Ming took a deep breath, his cheeks burning involuntarily, his fists clenching slightly, and he mustered his courage to speak.

"Actually, I really like you. From the first moment I saw you, I fell in love with you at first sight."

"?!!"

Ozawa Nami stared wide-eyed in surprise, stunned for a few seconds.

Then I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Zhang Ming had imagined countless times what Ozawa Nami's reaction would be after he confessed his feelings, but he never expected that Ozawa Nami would take his sincerity as a joke.

"Sister, I'm not joking, I'm serious."

He had wanted to confess his feelings to Nami Ozawa for a long time, but she always interrupted him by saying that she had a husband.

They had been secretly dating for three months, and unknowingly, he had developed genuine feelings for her.

Perhaps it's because he doesn't have a mother that he's so fascinated by the mature allure of Nami Ozawa.

He even considered that if Nami Ozawa were willing to divorce her husband, he would actually marry her.

Nami Ozawa stopped laughing and pressed, "You like me, and then what?"

Zhang Ming saw that Ozawa Nami still had an indifferent attitude and was gazing at her devoutly.

"If you're willing to divorce your husband, I'll marry you!"

Nami Ozawa exhaled a puff of smoke into his face, her expression colder than ever before, her voice indifferent and aloof.

Aren't you afraid he'll kill you?

If only she had a way to get a divorce.

Zhang Ming said firmly, "I'm not afraid for you!"

Nami Ozawa frowned slightly. "Let's part ways amicably."

Zhang Ming was too naive; he simply did not understand the terrifying power.

Zhang Ming was deeply stung by her cold gaze; his lips moved but no sound came out.

The driver was already in position. Ozawa Nami gave him a deep look and warned him.

"Hurry up and leave. Don't tell Su Luo about our relationship, or don't blame me for not showing any mercy."

"I see."

Zhang Ming turned and walked away quickly, the disappointment in his eyes instantly turning into resentment, and he clenched his fists.

He knew it; it was all that bastard Su Luo's fault.

...

One o'clock in the morning.

Nami Ozawa returned home, stood in front of the door, and pressed the combination lock.

The door opened automatically with a ding.

Upon entering the room, I was surprised to find the lights still on.

Song Lingshan was sitting upright on the sofa with a magazine in her hand. Hearing the noise, she tossed the magazine onto the coffee table and looked Ozawa Nami up and down, her fox-like eyes filled with scrutiny.

Nami Ozawa casually smoothed her slightly messy hair over her shoulder and said with a smile.

"Xiao Shan's back. Why aren't you asleep yet, it's so late?"

A faint smell of alcohol wafted from Ozawa Nami. Song Lingshan stared at her stepmother's flushed cheeks, which were affected by alcohol, and said unhappily.

"Do you think I wanted to come back? Why didn't you answer my calls?"

She was sleeping soundly at her own place when her father, feeling unwell, couldn't find Ozawa Nami and asked her to come and take care of him.

Ozawa Nami's expression changed slightly. She didn't answer immediately, but instead bent down to take off her high heels, put on fluffy slippers, and went straight into the house, putting her bag in the closet.

He sat down opposite Song Lingshan and calmly shook his phone, which had a black screen.

"The power is out."

Seeing her nonchalant attitude, Song Lingshan's suppressed anger flared up instantly, and her tone became somewhat sharp.

"What time is it? You're still out fooling around. My dad just got discharged from the hospital. Is this how you act as a wife?"

When her father wanted to marry this woman, she strongly objected. The woman was too young, only six years older than her, and looked like a vixen.

His every move exuded a strong sense of worldliness, and he was clearly not a respectable person. Unfortunately, I was abroad at the time and was unable to stop my father.

After returning to China, the two rarely met, and every time they did, it inevitably ended unpleasantly.

Nami Ozawa wasn't one to back down either; she retorted after being offended by her stepdaughter.

"How I am a wife is none of your business to judge me, is it? I am your elder, after all. You don't even call me 'Auntie,' and you're lecturing me. What gives you the right?"
