early morning.
The classroom was quiet, and the students were studying diligently.
Su Yu sat by the window, fiddling with the mechanical pencil in her hand.
He stared listlessly at the empty seat to his right.
I felt deeply saddened.
Yesterday, the teacher couldn't stand his habit of talking to his deskmate at school anymore, so she made him sit alone.
My deskmate is gone.
He really couldn't imagine how boring classes would be in the future.
The teacher's lectures were dry and rigid, and very simple; you could learn them just by listening. How could he possibly endure one difficult and long 40-minute class after another?
I'm feeling really unwell.
The classroom door creaked open from the outside.
Su Yu looked up.
She is the homeroom teacher.
She was still wearing her dull black overalls, her hair neatly combed behind her ears, which, combined with her unremarkable face and slightly plump figure, made her quite uninteresting.
Just as Su Yu was about to look away, she noticed that her homeroom teacher was followed by an incredibly beautiful little girl.
She looks just like the little girl in a comic book.
She wore a white dress with a denim jacket over it, carried a backpack, and her long, flowing hair, like seaweed, was casually draped over her shoulders.
Her features were exquisitely perfect without a single flaw, her skin was as smooth as a peeled egg, and she had a pair of stunningly beautiful peach blossom eyes, but she didn't have a gentle feeling at all.
His gaze was cold, and his aura was strong; it seemed as if looking at him for too long would hurt him.
Su Yu's heart was pounding, as if it were about to burst out of her chest.
He had never seen such a good-looking peer before, and he had always arrogantly believed that he was the best-looking person in the whole school.
But seeing this girl today, I realized how naive I really am.
The homeroom teacher led the girl to the podium and introduced her to everyone with a smile.
"This is our new transfer student, Su Bao'er. Everyone should get along well with her!"
As soon as he finished speaking...
Thunderous applause erupted from the audience.
The boys applauded the most enthusiastically; naturally, everyone was very welcoming of such a beautiful new transfer student.
Su Yu was also extremely excited and clapped enthusiastically.
I never expected that she would share the same surname as me.
Su Bao'er, what a beautiful name!
And he's so aloof!
They clapped so enthusiastically, but she didn't react at all, calmly watching everyone as if she were an outsider.
It seems like they've gotten used to being fawned over.
The homeroom teacher asked everyone to be quiet, and then spoke gently to Su Bao'er.
"Please choose a seat for yourself."
She didn't want to make an exception, but the transfer student's parents had given the school a lot of money, and the principal specifically instructed her to take good care of him.
There was nothing she could do; he was another person she couldn't afford to offend.
Su Bao'er nodded slightly, her sharp gaze sweeping over the students below the stage.
Several good spots have been found.
Su Yu had no hope that she would choose the seat next to her as her deskmate.
His homeroom teacher was so angry with him that she wouldn't assign him a deskmate anymore.
Besides, there are several empty seats, so Su Bao'er's chances of choosing herself are slim.
Unexpectedly.
Su Bao'er raised her hand and pointed to the empty seat next to Su Yu.
"That location."
"?!!"
Su Yu's eyes widened in shock. "No way?"
Did they really choose him?
This surprise came too suddenly!
The homeroom teacher's expression changed drastically, looking troubled.
"That's not appropriate. He talks a lot in class and it will disturb your studies."
Su Bao'er completely ignored her homeroom teacher's good intentions and insisted.
"It's okay, I just want to sit there."
The homeroom teacher said helplessly.
"Okay, then you can sit there for now. If you don't feel comfortable, just tell the teacher and the teacher will help you change seats."
Su Bao'er nodded slightly.
He sat down next to Su Yu with ease, put down the backpack on his shoulder, unzipped it, and took out the textbooks he would need for class later.
I don't know why.
Su Yu, usually a chatterbox, suddenly didn't know how to greet her.
And I was incredibly nervous.
Just because Su Bao'er had such a strong aura, the moment she sat down, she glanced at him, and that look was definitely not one of appreciation, nor was it at all friendly.
It even carried a hint of disdain.
Does it mean you hate yourself?
That doesn't make sense.
If you hate yourself, why sit next to yourself?
At this moment, the math teacher came over to give a lesson.
While lecturing, he kept glancing at Su Yu, afraid that he might disturb Su Bao'er.
This was something his homeroom teacher specifically instructed him to do.
Strangely, Su Yu remained quiet throughout the entire class and didn't say a word.
This is really weird!
Could it be that Su Bao'er is Su Yu's nemesis, and all the other classmates can't cure his problem, but only Su Bao'er can?
If that's the case, then he'll really have much less to worry about in the future.
During the break between classes.
The boys flocked around to fawn over Su Bao'er, and a few girls also chatted with her out of curiosity, mostly about trivial things like where she transferred from and what her previous school was like.
The noise annoyed Su Bao'er, and with a gloomy face, she scolded them.
"Don't bother me!"
"..."
No one had ever met such a difficult classmate before, so they wisely left one after another.
This made Su Yu, who had been silent the whole time, feel instantly better.
It turns out that she didn't just hate herself; she hated everyone indiscriminately.
