"What's wrong with the director?"
Song Ruan straightened her somewhat disheveled clothes and asked, puzzled.
The director was at his wits' end, annoyed that they couldn't even do such a simple scene.
"You have the nerve to ask? Do you even know how to act? Look at the way Ding Yao is looking at you, like you're her enemy? Did you even read the script properly?"
Song Ruan looked aggrieved and whispered.
"Director, I've read the script. Song Ruan hates Ding Yao. Was my performance wrong?"
She's practically worn out her script, how could she not understand the characters? The director is just being too meticulous; it's just a short drama, why be so harsh?
The director looked at him like he was an idiot, furious at his lack of self-control.
"There should be love within hate. You love Ding Yao, you know? You had a crush on her for three years in the script. What did you learn in school? Did you just eat everything you learned with rice? Are you a pig brain?"
Su Luo, standing to the side, looked at her with some sympathy.
Although Song Ruan's acting wasn't very good, short dramas don't actually have high requirements, but Song Lingshan insisted on high quality.
This director was poached by Song Lingshan at a high price. He had previously directed films, so he has very high requirements for the actors.
I don't know how many times we've reshot this today.
Song Ruan's face flushed red as she suppressed her anger and cooperated.
"Director, I think I understand. Let's do it again. I'm sure I can act well now."
The director was too lazy to waste any more words with her.
"Action!"
The staff were back in place.
Ding Yao recited her lines again, and this time Song Ruan had done her best to show her love.
The director yelled "Cut!" again, his face dark.
"That's unnatural. Why does your expression look so stiff?"
Song Ruan: "Director, I understand. Let's do it one more time."
One more time.
Then again.
After more than twenty takes, it still wasn't right, so the director got so angry that he told her to go to the side and reflect on her actions.
Finally, I can take a break and catch my breath.
Su Luo yawned and sat down wearily on a chair.
Su Luo's swollen cheeks started to sting again. She raised her hand to rub them, thinking of the ruthlessness Song Lingshan had shown yesterday.
A pang of sadness gripped his heart, and his expression revealed a hint of loneliness and sorrow.
The director, who was holding a thermos and tea, glanced at Su Luo and his gloomy expression gradually softened.
Su Luo noticed the director's strange look and asked in surprise, "Director, why are you looking at me? Is there something on my face?"
After asking Su Luo, he realized that his question was inappropriate. There was a handprint on his face from Song Lingshan, and there was definitely something there. Maybe the director only showed that look because he saw the handprint.
But something's not right. The director's eyes are strange. There's amazement and appreciation, but also an indescribable feeling.
It's like a big bad wolf who's been starving for days finally seeing a little white rabbit and wants to devour it completely.
The director said in a serious tone, "Can you give Song Ruan a demonstration? Your expression just now was just right."
He knew Su Luo and knew that Su Luo was a boy.
At first glance, I mistook her for a woman. Her voice was also soft and neutral, making her seem no different from a woman.
Su Luo's image and temperament perfectly match the character of Song Ruan in the script.
Su Luo's eyes widened in shock, and she asked nervously, "Wh-what do you mean?"
Are they asking him to act? He can't do that, and it's a female role, a bullied female role at that. How can a grown man like him act that?
Upon hearing this, Song Ruan, Ding Yao, and the other staff members were also taken aback.
Did they hear me right?
The director actually asked Su Luo to demonstrate. He's just a photographer, and although he looks like a woman, he can't act at all!
Song Ruan looked at Su Luo with a hint of hostility. Was the director deliberately choosing him to humiliate her?
No matter how bad my acting is, it can't be worse than a male photographer!
The director smiled and said, "If you'd like to give a demonstration, we can finish earlier."
He has a keen eye for people; he doesn't need Su Luo to be an actress, he just needs to let him be himself.
Want it finished soon?
Su Luo's eyes lit up instantly.
That's great! Su Luo fought with Song Lingshan all night and didn't close his eyes once. If he doesn't finish work soon, he'll die of exhaustion.
I gritted my teeth and thought, "So what if I'm playing a woman? It's better than dying suddenly."
"Okay, I'll act it out."
Ding Yao took the initiative to come over and explain the play to Su Luo.
Su Luo understood immediately and quickly told the photographer to get ready.
Just as Su Luo was about to lie down on the bed, Ding Yao called out to him.
"You haven't changed out of your costume yet!"
"ah?"
Su Luo was stunned and looked at the director, "No, there's no need to change it, I'm just demonstrating."
The director did not answer Su Luo, but looked at Ding Yao instead.
What do you think?
Ding Yao thought about it seriously for a moment, "I think it will be easier for me to get into character if he changes clothes, so we can finish filming sooner."
Thinking to myself: Actually, it's just that I want to see it, I really want to see it!
"???"
Su Luo regretted it. She'd completely gotten herself into trouble; playing a woman was one thing, but why did she have to wear women's clothing?
The director nodded in agreement, "Okay, Su Luo, just bear with it for a bit and change your costume. There are no outsiders here anyway, is that alright?"
He's been acting for so many years, and he's never actually seen a man with feminine features wear women's clothing before. He's quite curious about it.
After a fierce internal struggle, Su Luo...
Looking at Song Ruan's clothes, I breathed a slight sigh of relief. It wasn't one of those fancy little dresses, but a loose pink T-shirt and wide-leg jeans.
Thank goodness, he would never agree to wear a skirt.
"Alright."
Song Ruan reluctantly took off her clothes and gave them to Su Luo.
After Su Luo finished dressing.
Everyone's eyes lit up, and they were all amazed.
Wow!
So damn cute! Su Luo has snow-white skin, and wearing a pink oversized T-shirt looks perfectly natural on her. Paired with her refreshing wispy hair and that beautiful girl face, she's practically the pure goddess of a campus idol drama.
Su Luo felt extremely awkward being stared at by so many people.
I steeled myself and lay down on the bed.
So what if I die? Sudden death is death anyway. Everyone dies eventually, whether it's early or late.
Ding Yao leaned in and pressed down on him, causing Su Luo's body to stiffen instantly; she was so nervous.
Forehead.
Why is this happening?
Perhaps it's because Ding Yao also has a mature, sophisticated style. Her height and figure are very similar to Song Lingshan's, and their faces also bear some resemblance. They are both strikingly beautiful women with a strong, assertive presence.
Ding Yao sensed Su Luo's unease and lowered her head slightly. Her loose hair brushed against Su Luo's fair neck, tickling her and carrying a faint, pleasant scent of shampoo.
She whispered something in his ear.
"Don't be afraid, just treat me as your girlfriend."
She had a good impression of Su Luo; this photographer wasn't like other photographers who talked too much and liked to take advantage of others.
Su Luo is very well-behaved and beautiful.
Every time she saw him, she couldn't control the urge to ravage him.
