Su Luo thought that Ozawa Nami would ask him out to dinner.
Unexpectedly, she wanted him to go to her house.
He knew she owned several properties, but he had only been to one of them—the slightly old but cozy little house that Ye Yu had visited after being kicked out by Song Lingshan.
It was also the place where she went to save him after he attempted suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills.
It's still very cold outside today, and it's snowing lightly.
Su Luo stood in front of the door and rang the doorbell.
The door opened from the inside, and the room was very warm.
Nami Ozawa wore a light purple satin nightgown with delicate lace trim embroidered on the hem.
Her slightly wavy long hair was casually pinned up behind her ears, and a faint smile graced her unadorned face as she spoke softly.
"It must be cold, come in and warm up."
"Um."
Su Luo nodded and bent down to change her shoes.
Nami Ozawa had already placed the cotton slippers beside his feet and helped him change.
I asked him to sit on the sofa and poured him a cup of herbal tea. I then gave him some instructions.
"Wait a moment, there's another dish coming out of the pot soon."
"good."
Nami Ozawa turned and walked towards the kitchen.
Su Luo tilted her head back, took a sip of her flower tea, and looked at the dining table not far away.
The table was covered with a clean white tablecloth, on which were laid out exquisite food, red wine, and candles, with a bouquet of roses in the center.
The room was lit with soft, non-glaring light, and there was a faint scent of lavender in the air.
Su Luo felt dazed, put down her teacup, and pinched her thigh hard. She wasn't dreaming.
He has safely left the company and arrived at Nami Ozawa's residence.
Shortly after, Ozawa Nami placed the last dish on the table and invited him to come and eat.
Su Luo stood up, sat down opposite Ozawa Nami, and took a closer look.
Most of the dishes on the table were his favorites.
Nami Ozawa poured two glasses of wine and handed him one of them.
Su Luo took the wine glass and clinked glasses with her.
The glasses collided, making a crisp sound.
Su Luo finished the drink in her glass in one gulp.
Nami Ozawa couldn't help but chuckle and said:
"Drink slowly, you haven't eaten yet."
As she spoke, she poured him a new glass of wine.
Su Luo picked up her chopsticks and began to eat heartily, showing off her meal.
Nami Ozawa gripped her chopsticks tightly, staring at him quietly. How strange.
What's wrong with him today? I could tell something was off the moment I saw him.
He asked cautiously, "What's wrong?"
Su Luo swallowed a large piece of beef, his gaze towards her extremely complicated.
"Have you received the divorce certificate?"
Nami Ozawa said frankly.
"You got it, aren't you happy?"
She didn't understand why Su Luo seemed distracted. Was it because she shouldn't have chosen this place for their date?
She did receive several villas, but she felt they belonged to Song Ruhai, and she was afraid that bringing Su Luo there would make him uncomfortable.
But this house is different. She bought it with her own savings before marriage, and it holds many memories for her and Su Luo.
She carefully decorated the house, cooked his favorite dishes, and changed into a purple nightgown that suited her best.
I really can't figure out what went wrong with me.
Su Luo shook his head helplessly and said with a smile.
"No, I'm very happy!"
He should be happy; this is what he's always wanted. He should be very happy.
Nami Ozawa couldn't sense that he was genuinely happy; he was clearly forcing a smile.
Su Luo has never been good at acting; her emotions are easily written on her face and she can't hide them.
"Is work not going well?"
Su Luo denied it again and picked up his wine glass.
"No, let's drink!"
"good."
Nami Ozawa suppressed her doubts, picked up her glass, and drank with him.
One cup after another.
Su Luo was unwilling to speak, and Ozawa Nami did not try to start a new topic.
I just silently drank with him.
Su Luo has a low alcohol tolerance and soon began to feel dizzy, but still showed no sign of stopping.
Ozawa Nami didn't feel much at all; she had a high alcohol tolerance. She looked at Su Luo with concern.
"Stop drinking, you're drunk."
Su Luo shook his head, pressed his tongue against his numb palate, and mumbled something.
"No, I'm not drunk, I can still drink."
Ozawa Nami sat down next to Su Luo, forcefully snatched the wine glass from his hand, and spoke in a soft, gentle tone.
"Be good, listen to me, if you drink any more you'll throw up, it'll feel awful."
Su Luo turned to the side.
Suddenly, I noticed that Ozawa Nami had taken off her headband at some point, and her waist-length black curly hair was loosely hanging over her shoulders.
That excessively beautiful face had begun to flush red due to the alcohol.
Her peach blossom eyes were wet with tears, clearly showing her concern for him, yet she still possessed an indescribable allure.
Su Luo swallowed hard, her dim eyes beginning to glaze over with intense desire.
Ozawa Nami naturally sensed his change, and without saying anything more, put down her wine glass.
She took the initiative to wrap her arms around his neck and kiss his rosy lips.
This action seemed to flip a strange switch in Su Luo's body, and the usually gentle man...
I don't know where the strength came from, but he picked the person up horizontally, quickly walked to the bedroom, and threw the person onto the bed.
This way and that way, this way and that way.
But at the most crucial moment, for some reason, Song Lingshan suddenly appeared in his mind, saying to him with tears in her eyes.
I know you still love me.
They were defeated in an instant.
He slumped down beside her, staring at the dim ceiling, tears streaming uncontrollably down his cheeks.
Nami Ozawa turned her head blankly, and in the dim light shining from the living room into the bedroom door, she saw the glistening tears on Su Luo's face.
My heart started clenching, and I didn't dare touch him at all, forcing myself not to let the tears fall.
Ask the question cautiously and humbly.
"Do you dislike me now?"
It's probably because she dislikes herself and feels she's not clean.
She was six years older than him and had been married before.
Despite his promise that he wouldn't mind her being single, he never touched her once during their relationship.
Upon hearing this...
Su Luo turned his head in surprise and saw that Ozawa Nami was about to cry. He instantly felt like the worst bastard in the world.
He stopped crying, held her hand tightly, and explained.
"I'm not looking down on you, I've never looked down on you, it's my own problem, I, I..."
How is he supposed to explain this?
He wanted to tell her that he hadn't completely forgotten Song Lingshan? Even though he said he had let go, he still couldn't help but think of her from time to time.
