After buying the train ticket, Li Shaozhong found a phone at the train station and called home, "Mom, we bought sleeper berths for tomorrow morning's train, going directly to Kyoto."
Li Shaozhong told his mother the train number and asked his family to pick them up when the time came.
Yang Jinping was overjoyed when she heard that her son and daughter-in-law were finally coming back. "You must take good care of Xiao Ning on the way and don't let her get tired."
Yang Jinping was really worried and kept giving instructions.
After hanging up the phone with his mother and paying the bill, Li Shaozhong hurried back to the guesthouse.
When he returned, Ye Shuning was sleeping soundly. Her sleepiness symptoms had not changed and were getting worse, so she didn't even notice when Li Shaozhong came back.
Li Shaozhong quietly closed the door and didn't dare lie down on the bed. He was afraid of disturbing his wife's rest because of his cold body. He sat on a chair nearby, took out a book and began to read.

So Li Shaozhong doesn't let his wife stand for long periods of time now. She only gets up to walk when she's going for a walk. This time back in Kyoto, Li Shaozhong was really worried that his wife wouldn't be able to handle it. But now that she seems to be doing okay, he's relieved.
There was everything in the refrigerator. Li Shaozhong took out the frozen fish balls he had made earlier to make fish ball soup, and also took out some vegetables.
He first steamed the rice in the rice cooker and then began preparing the ingredients. Li Shaozhong made a steamed shrimp and egg custard, stir-fried shredded pork with fish flavor, a braised eggplant, and a fish ball soup—enough for two people.
Only after the food was served did Li Shaozhong help Ye Shuning sit at the table.

Li Shaozhong served his wife a bowl of rice and joked, "Isn't this because you, as a master, have taught me well? As the saying goes, a good teacher produces a good student. I have also inherited your true teachings."
The couple chatted and laughed while having a fairly sumptuous dinner.
After dinner, Ye Shuning rested for a while before taking a shower. She would be spending the next few days on the train, so she thought it would be a good idea to take a shower today.

Because of her frequent urination during pregnancy, Ye Shuning had to run to the bathroom several times every night. Li Shaozhong would wake up every night, worried that something might be wrong with her. He also understood the difficulties of becoming a mother and felt even more sorry for her.

After breakfast, the two packed up and checked out of the hotel and headed for the train station. The guesthouse was not far from the train station, and Li Shaozhong helped Ye Shuning walk for half an hour, stopping and starting.
Li Shaozhong looked at the time and saw that the train would not arrive for more than half an hour. He helped Ye Shuning sit down in the waiting hall of the train station to rest.
Ticket checking started soon. Li Shaozhong helped his wife queue up for ticket checking, and then went to the platform to wait for the train to arrive.
This train was a passing train, and Li Shaozhong heaved a sigh of relief when he helped his wife onto their sleeper car. Li Shao helped Ye Shuning sit on the lower berth. He had explained the situation to the conductor yesterday and luckily had managed to buy two sleeper tickets.
