Let's go find her together

Let's go find her together

Teng's gaze suddenly froze.

In the heavy rain, the figures of Mo Yan and Qing Lan gradually became clear.

His dark green vertical pupils shrank, emitting a cold light, and his gaze was like a blade piercing Qinglan, the snow leopard with an elegant and agile figure. Obviously, his broken star pattern had reunited.

"Where is Aying?" These three short words, wrapped in suppressed violence, spread out eerily in the rainstorm.

Qinglan looked at the intact Teng, and a barely perceptible glimmer of light appeared in his gray-brown eyes.

The tense lines on his spine relaxed. Since Teng was fine, it meant that she was safe too.

Mo Yan's scarlet scales glowed darkly, and his slender snake body twisted into a human form.

His slender eyes swept over the back of the Teng, but he only saw Bai Cang holding the cub.

He frowned: "Fuying is not back yet?"

"What did you say? Aying went to the Frost Plains Tribe!" Teng's voice was filled with rage, a trace of panic flashed in the depths of his pupils, and he stared at Qinglan closely: "Why did you come here, but Aying didn't come back?!"

It rained heavily.

Qinglan transformed into a human form, his figure swaying slightly in the rain. His long flaxen hair soaked by the rain stuck to his neck, making him look very disheveled.

"She..." Her pale lips trembled slightly, her voice almost drowned out by the sound of rain: "She saved me..."

"Carried away by the mudslide on the snowfield." His voice was hoarse and almost broken.

Teng's body froze, and the aura around him seemed dead silent, stagnant in an instant.

"What did you say?" His voice was soft, yet extremely sharp and violent.

His dark green pupils were fixed on Qinglan, shrinking into a cold thin line, emitting a terrifying cold light in the rain.

The next moment, he suddenly jumped up, and his fist, wrapped in a fierce gust of wind, smashed towards the corner of Qinglan's mouth.

"She knows you're dying!"

"They even abandoned their newborn cubs!"

The second punch followed, making a dull sound of flesh hitting flesh.

Teng's expression was ferocious and his voice was hoarse: "Qinglan, how dare you come to see me alive?"

Qinglan fell heavily into the muddy water. Rain mixed with blood dripped from his indifferent jaw, creating dark red ripples in the turbid water.

He didn't struggle, nor did he fight back. His gray-brown eyes were unfocused, and he murmured, "It's me..."

Bai Cang held an oil-paper umbrella in one hand and a dumpling in the other, looking at Qinglan, who had fallen into the mud, dejected and hopeless. Her beautiful face was filled with indifference: "With Ah Ying's strength, she won't be swept away by the mud flow."

At this point, Bai Cang paused, his fingers gripping the umbrella handle suddenly tightening, causing the oil-paper umbrella to creak as if unable to bear the weight. He stared straight at Qing Lan, a cold look in his fox-like eyes: "Why?"

Before he finished speaking, Teng's movements suddenly stopped, as if he had discovered something.

He suddenly pulled Qinglan up, and the sound of tearing animal skins pierced the rain.

Teng's gaze was fixed on his neck, his fingertips trembling uncontrollably, and even his voice was tinged with a frantic tremor: "Your contract mark...how could it be?"

Hearing this, Bai Cang and Mo Yan fixed their eyes on Qinglan's neck.

Where there should have been a cog mark, there were now hideous lines entwined there, as if someone had used a bone knife to carve a cogging red fox cog mark right there, with every cut carving into the flesh.

The red fox is lazy, its fur dyed red with blood.

"Where is your contract mark?!" The teeth of the dragon's mouth collided with each other, making a chilling clicking sound.

Silver-white thunder streaked across the sky, revealing Qinglan's face as pale as paper.

Bai Cang's slender body also swayed, and the oil-paper umbrella tilted slightly in the rain, splashing a chill.

His amber pupils contracted violently, and the cub in his arms, perhaps sensing his father's heart-wrenching pain, began to whimper uneasily.

The contract was terminated, but Qinglan was unharmed.

Obviously, it is the other party that suffers the backlash of the contract.

No wonder a mere mudslide could sweep her away.

Mo Yan stood stiffly in the heavy rain, looking at Qinglan, his scarlet eyes filled with surging waves of fear.

In the Orc Continent, breaking a contract is equivalent to death, and it is rare for a female to take the initiative to bear the backlash.

He stared at the red fox contract pattern carved on Qinglan's neck with a bone knife. His Adam's apple rolled with difficulty. Fu Ying was actually willing to endure the backlash of the Beast God Contract for a male?

"What on earth did you do?" His fingertips sank into his palm, and blood oozed out through his fingers.

"I kill you--"

The next moment, the body of the python suddenly twisted and expanded, and black scales covered its body like a tide. It turned into a giant python in an instant. Its strength increased, and its body became a little bigger. Every scale was shining coldly in the rainstorm.

The ferocious fangs bit towards Qinglan's neck with a determination to fight to the death.

Qinglan closed his eyes slightly, and the rain slid down his eyelashes.

He did not struggle, but instead raised his neck, exposing himself to the fangs.

He should have died long ago.

However, the fangs failed to penetrate his neck in the end.

Teng turned his head suddenly, his dark green eyes filled with violent murderous intent, because Bai Cang's oil-paper umbrella blocked Qinglan's way, and the rain slid down the edge of the umbrella, creating ripples on the ground.

"You're stopping me?" The scales on the snake's body made violent friction, like the collision of metal and stone.

"Aying took the initiative to break the contract, it must be his fault, why don't you let me kill him?!"

Qinglan's eyelashes trembled slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes and looked at Bai Cang who was standing in front of him.

The cub in his arms was howling, its tender voice piercing through the heavy rain, as if it knew something had happened to its mother.

Qinglan's gray-brown pupils contracted violently, and deep pain surged in his eyes.

He stretched out his hand, wanting to touch her cub, but instantly fell down.

This action affected the red fox pattern carved on the neck, and the unhealed wound began to bleed again.

Bai Cang's gorgeous face was as pale as paper, and even her rosy lips had faded.

His voice was extremely calm, but the knuckles on his hand, gripping the oil-paper umbrella, were pale and raised. "Aying would rather die than save him. If you kill him, how painful it will be for Aying to come back?"

"Besides..." Bai Cang looked back, and the rain slid down his chin.

His amber eyes were filled with coldness as they swept across the storage bag on Qinglan's waist. The snow leopard pattern embroidered on it was so familiar: "We need people now, let's go find her together."

Teng also looked at the storage bag on Qinglan's waist, and its scarlet snake tongue trembled, catching the remaining breath on it.

The powerful snake's tail swept across suddenly, shattering a rock. Several sharp pieces of gravel, wrapped in anger, brushed across Qinglan's cheek, leaving a few bloody marks, but he seemed unaware.

Mo Yan looked at the three of them and took a deep breath: "I'll look for it with you."

There is food left by Qinglan in the tribe, so everything will be fine.

Teng turned to look at Bai Cang, his dark green eyes flashing with a cold luster: "You two go along the mud flow to find A Ying first, I will go to the Liekong tribe to find Xingkong."

"He's a pterosaur orc. He flies very fast and can find her as soon as possible."

As he spoke, Teng had already turned around, and his dark figure disappeared into the distance as quickly as a stream of light.

Bai Cang retracted his gaze and fixed it on Qing Lan. His voice was low and cold: "Cheer up. When you find her, you can renew your bond with her. Of course, the prerequisite is that she is willing to forgive you."

Qinglan slowly raised his head, a glimmer in his gray-brown eyes.

His Adam's apple rolled, and his ethereal voice was full of brokenness: "Really... is there still a possibility?"

Bai Cang looked at him, his eyes cold, and said calmly: "After going through so much, you should know better than anyone how good she is. Ah Ying, it's worth you trying everything to win her back."
