Leng Ming felt so angry that he wanted to explode on the spot.
He shook his hands a few times in anger, turned around in a circle, then pointed at her, put them down, and started turning around again.
He looked angry and helpless.
Sina secretly stuck out her tongue, shrugged her shoulders and said:
"That's the worst that can happen. We're even. I don't mind you scaring me, and you don't mind me scaring you either!"
Leng Ming looked at her coldly, suddenly snorted, flicked his sleeves, and left without saying a word.
He left?
Sina glanced around, shuddered secretly, and quickly followed.
After all their trouble, it was almost dawn. Generally, early morning was the most terrifying time, especially in this deserted and pitch dark city.
Xina took big strides to chase Leng Ming, while constantly apologizing,
"Leng Ming, don't be angry, I was just joking with you."
"Leng Ming, you're a grown man, why are you so petty?"
"Leng Ming, why don't we go back and find our horses? If we keep walking like this, we'll have to walk until dawn."
"Leng Ming..."
"Stop talking."
Leng Ming waved his hand vigorously at her, then stopped, turned around and looked at her, his eyes serious and he spoke word by word:
"If you want to go back to the city, just follow me. If you want to go back to get your horse, go back by yourself. Anyway, I won't go back to that place."
After saying this, he continued forward...
Sina stuck out her tongue and sneered to herself, "It was you who scared me first, and I wasn't angry yet, but you got angry first..."
"Ouch……"
Before she could finish her words, she felt her feet go empty and she stepped directly into a pit. With a piercing pain in her ankle, she fell directly to the ground.
After hearing the voice, Leng Ming turned around and looked at her, and asked in a cold voice:
"What are you yelling about? You scared me once, twice, how many more times do you want to scare me?"
Xena rubbed her feet with a pale face, grinning and not responding to him.
Leng Ming reluctantly came to her side and squatted down, asking angrily:
"What's wrong with you? Are you trying to scare me again? I'm not afraid anymore."
"Who scared you? I twisted my ankle."
Sina endured the pain from her ankle and scolded him angrily.
"Who told you to walk so fast? I can't keep up. Now my ankle is twisted and it hurts so much."
Leng Ming saw that her face looked a little ugly and realized that she might not be pretending, so he lowered his voice and asked with a frown:
"Aren't you very powerful? How come you twisted your foot?"
Seeing that he was still mocking her at this time, Sina glared at him angrily, then kneaded her ankle while muttering,
"Even horses stumble, and people stumble. Besides, this is all your fault. If you hadn't walked so fast, how could I not have seen the pit here? Now, we are still so far from the capital. What should we do?"
Leng Ming raised his head and looked around, then said helplessly:
"How about this, I'll go back and get the horse, and you wait here."
"You left me here alone? It's out in the wilderness. What if a wild animal shows up? You're too cruel."
"Or I'll help you..."
"I'm going to hop back to the capital on one leg? That's going to take forever. My sister will find out I'm missing tomorrow morning and will definitely go crazy looking for me. If someone discovers our whereabouts, everything will be over."
Seeing that neither left nor right was working, Leng Ming spread out his hands and shouted angrily,
"Then what do you say we should do? We can't just wait here forever!"
As he spoke, he sat down on the ground, breathing heavily and muttering to himself,
"What bad luck! If I had known this would happen, I would have stopped teasing you. It would have been so nice to just lie down at home and have a good sleep. But now, the horse is lost and I can't go home..."
Sina grumbled and continued to knead her ankle, ignoring Leng Ming who was chattering non-stop.
After a while, Leng Ming stopped talking, and Sina was still rubbing her ankle... It became unusually quiet here, with only the chirping of insects and birds, nothing else.
As time passed, they had forgotten about the quarrel and seemed to have realized that there was no point in continuing the quarrel under such circumstances.
After pondering for a while, Leng Ming suddenly got up from the ground, squatted in front of Xina, turned his back to her, and shouted angrily:
"Come up...I'll carry you."
Sina blinked a few times in surprise, then shook her head vigorously.
"I'm so heavy, how can you carry me? I'd better rub it. I guess I'll be able to walk soon."
"Come up quickly, or you're going to rub it until dawn?"
"But……"
"Don't worry, if you don't want your sister to find out, don't waste time."
Seeing Leng Ming squatting in front of her stubbornly, Xina felt a little embarrassed, but she also knew that if she continued like this, it would be dawn, so she had no choice but to climb onto his back with both hands.
Leng Ming carried her on his back and tried to stand up, but failed. They both fell to the ground at the same time.
"Why are you so heavy? Can you eat less?"
Leng Ming sighed and blamed unhappily.
Sina frowned, muttered unhappily, and retorted:
"You are too weak. How thin have I become?"
"You're obviously too heavy. I definitely can't carry you like this. I'll help you stand up first, and then I'll carry you."
Sina secretly nodded at him and tried hard to stand up. Although Leng Ming felt that this woman was really troublesome, he still went over to help her up, then let her put her hands on his shoulders and carried her on his back.
