Su Ziqing looked at the nurse and smiled gently, "It's just a misunderstanding, Miss Nurse. Please clean the floor first."
"Misunderstanding? Su Ziqing, you..." Su Xiaoman wanted to say something, but after receiving Su Ziqing's sarcastic look, she obediently shut her mouth.
Yes, what else can we say if we can't call it a misunderstanding?

Then he looked at the bodyguard and asked, "Where is he?"
"She escaped..." The bodyguards didn't dare to meet Gong Chengjue's gaze.
Gong Chengjue glanced at Su Xiaoman on the hospital bed. Su Xiaoman was looking at them, her eyes still filled with the terror of having just returned from the brink of death.
"Let's go." Right now, all he wanted was for Su Ziqing to be safe and well, and to stay away from any danger.

Su Ziqing, however, thought differently. She knew that Gong Chengjue wouldn't leave her alone in the study right now, so she looked directly at Su Xiaoman and asked, "Who is that woman?"
Su Xiaoman was insanely jealous every time she saw Su Ziqing and Gong Chengjue together.
Why, why does Su Ziqing get to have a man like Gong Chengjue by her side?!
She herself became an old man's plaything, and was even abandoned...
This world is so unfair, so incredibly unfair.
Seeing that she didn't respond, Su Ziqing's expression turned colder. "Su Xiaoman, if I had arrived even half a step later, you would be meeting the King of Hell by now."
"Heh, so I should thank you?" Su Xiaoman snapped out of her daze, looked at Su Ziqing, and gave her a sarcastic smile.
"What do you think?" Su Ziqing met her gaze. "If they came once, then there will definitely be a second and a third time. Su Xiaoman, what did you do to make someone want to silence you?"
Su Xiaoman remained silent.
His usual quick wit seemed to have vanished.
Su Ziqing wasn't just trying to scare her.
"You won't tell me? Then do as you please." Su Ziqing wasn't going to let her have her way, and turned to leave.
Seeing that Su Ziqing was really going to leave, Su Xiaoman panicked.
After all, no matter how much trouble someone causes, no one wants to bring about their own downfall, right?
She had just experienced a brush with death and was terrified.
It's no exaggeration to say that before experiencing life and death, she was still saddened by her miscarriage and current situation, but after what just happened, all she wants now is to live.
"I don't know her either," Su Xiaoman said hurriedly to Su Ziqing's retreating figure.
Su Ziqing turned around and looked at her.
Su Ziqing knew, of course, that Su Xiaoman couldn't possibly know that woman, but she should know Gong Changming!
So Su Ziqing asked directly, "You know Gong Changming, don't you?"

Su Xiaoman, however, looked serious and composed, and then turned to Gong Chengjue, "Gong? Is he from your Gong family?"
"Of all the people surnamed Gong, you're the only one I know, if Mr. Gong considers this to be acquaintance." Su Xiaoman curled her lips sarcastically.
Su Ziqing didn't think Su Xiaoman would lie. In other words, Su Xiaoman really didn't know Gong Changming, but that woman was Gong Changming's person, wasn't she?
Gong Chengjue remained silent, as if he were invisible.
Su Ziqing looked at him, "That woman..."
Hmm, does this mean he can speak? Gong Chengjue readily offered his guess, "She probably knows some secret."
Su Xiaoman's heart sank.

Gong Chengjue meant that the woman who just came to kill her did so because... she knew some secret?

Su Ziqing watched the whole thing with a cold eye, her mind racing.
If Su Xiaoman doesn't know Gong Changming, then it can only mean that her backer has some kind of relationship with Gong Changming.
Her brows furrowed involuntarily. Su Xiaoman was causing all sorts of trouble in the capital, but she never imagined that Su Xiaoman would get involved with Gong Changming.
Su Xiaoman unlocked her phone and dialed the number she wanted to contact, but the call couldn't go through at all.
She tried calling again, but still couldn't get through.
She screamed in anger, "Aaaaaah!" and then threw her phone directly against the wall.
The phone screen shattered into a spiderweb pattern.
She held her head in her hands, on the verge of collapse.
The wife's sarcastic words echoed in her ears, "You slut, do you really think you can rise to the top just because you have a child? Ha, to men, someone like you is nothing but a plaything."
Impossible, impossible!!
She sacrificed so much, she gave up so much, and she schemed for so long in the capital...
