Telling Yingzhi about her honeymoon experience
"Yingzhi," Xinyu said softly, her voice tinged with a hint of coquettishness, "we've been back from our honeymoon for three days now, and you still haven't told me your thoughts."
Yingzhi put down the poetry book in his hand, rolled up the sleeves of his light blue shirt to his elbows, revealing his smooth forearms. He smiled, his eyes sparkling with tenderness: "A honeymoon... just like our first meeting by the campfire in Hoshino, full of surprises and warmth."
"Do you remember on the Singapore Flyer?" Yingzhi said softly, her fingers gently tracing the maple leaf brooch. "As the city lights unfolded beneath our feet, I suddenly realized that our love is like this starry sky; no matter how many light-years we cross, we can always find each other."
Tears welled in Xinyu's eyes as she recalled the promise Yingzhi had made to her on the Ferris wheel: "No matter what the future holds, I will always be by your side." Now, that promise seemed even more real and heartwarming.
"And then there's the Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay," Yingzhi continued, her voice tinged with nostalgia, "when we stood before the 35-meter-high indoor waterfall, the mist refracting into rainbow halos, I suddenly felt that our love was like that rainbow—brief, yet dazzling."
"The time spent at the cake shop was also special," Eichi smiled, her eyes full of tenderness. "The way you curled up in my arms like a kitten, eating strawberry cake, reminded me of the focused way you told me stories of the present world by the campfire in Hoshino."
"The most liberating moments were when we were going for a drive," Eichi said softly, a hint of nostalgia in her voice. "Driving that red sports car, weaving through the streets of Yumenosaki, was like our love—unrestrained, free, and unrestrained."
"And the time we spent in the bedroom," Eichi smiled, her eyes full of tenderness, "you held me like a kitten, and we shared wild honey and strawberry cake, just like by the campfire in Hoshino."
Tears welled in Xinyu's eyes as she recalled the promise Yingzhi had made to her in the bedroom: "No matter what the future holds, I will always be by your side." Now, in the bedroom on this afternoon, that promise felt even more real and heartwarming.
"No matter what the future holds," Yingzhi smiled and gently kissed Xinyu's forehead, "I will always be by your side. Because love can transcend all boundaries; because love can bind people from two different worlds together."
"You're right. Perhaps, it's because I love you that I'm willing to stay by your side and continue to love you."
Under the starry sky of Yumenosaki, their figures clung tightly together. From their first encounter with Hoshino, to their wedding in Yumenosaki, and then their honeymoon in Singapore, their love story has now taken on a new dimension in this afternoon's bedroom. This honeymoon, like a seed, has taken root and sprouted in their hearts, foreshadowing an even brighter future.
She remembered the promises Eichi made to her by the campfire in Hoshino; the sweet moments they shared at the cake shop; every promise he made during their drive; and the cozy times they spent together in the bedroom. Now, in this afternoon's bedroom, their love story has entered a new chapter.
Under the starry sky of Yumenosaki, their love story will never end, like a sweet ballad, gently sung through time.
