Go to the beach with Yingzhi
"Shall we go to the beach today?" Yingzhi suggested softly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "I've heard the sunrise there is especially beautiful, as breathtaking as the starry sky we saw in Hoshino."
Xinyu smiled and nodded, her eyes filled with happiness: "Great! I just happened to bring some wild honey; we can have a picnic by the sea."
When the two arrived at the beach, the morning light gently bathed the shimmering sea, creating a golden halo. Xin Yu sat on the sand, watching the waves softly lap against the shore. She recalled the focused moment when Eichi played "Hoshino Renka" for her by the campfire in Hoshino, the moonlight illuminating his focused profile with a similar gentleness.
"Look, the sunrise over there." Yingzhi pointed to the distance, where the morning light was slowly rising from the sea, turning the sky a golden yellow.
Tears welled in Xin Yu's eyes as she recalled the promise Ying Zhi had made to her by the campfire in Xingye: "No matter what the future holds, I will always be by your side." Now, in the morning light by the sea, that promise seemed even more real and heartwarming.
Yingzhi took out a picnic basket he had prepared from his bag, which was filled with strawberry cake, chocolate lava cake, and wild honey. He gently scooped up a spoonful of strawberry cake and fed it to Xinyu's lips: "Try this, it's very sweet."
Xinyu took a bite, the refreshing aroma of strawberries and the sweetness of cream mingling in her mouth, making her eyes light up: "It's really delicious!"
"This is made with Hoshino's wild honey," Eichi smiled, his eyes full of tenderness, "just like our love, growing sweeter and sweeter."
They ate cake while watching the sunrise over the beach. The morning light cast long shadows of them, creating a warm and picturesque scene. Xinyu gently leaned on Yingzhi's shoulder and whispered, "Today was truly a perfect day."
After finishing the cake, the two walked hand in hand on the beach, the waves gently lapping at their feet. Suddenly, Yingzhi stopped and took out a delicate little box from her pocket. Inside was a maple leaf-shaped brooch with the words "Together" engraved on the inside.
"This is for you," Yingzhi said softly. "I hope our love, like the sunrise over the sea, will always be full of hope and warmth."
Tears welled in Xinyu's eyes as she gently pinned the brooch to her collar, its brilliance echoing Yingzhi's brooch: "Yingzhi, thank you for making every day so sweet."
Yingzhi smiled and gently kissed her forehead: "Because of you, my world is so complete."
This warmth reminded her of how Eichi had always been by her side during her happy times. She recalled the promise Eichi made to her by the campfire in Hoshino; the solemnity of exchanging rings in the chapel of Yumenosaki; and the sweetness of their first kiss on the Singapore Flyer. Now, in the morning light by the sea, their love story had entered a new chapter.
"Yingzhi," Xinyu whispered, "no matter what the future holds, I will always be by your side."
Yingzhi smiled and gently took her hand: "Because of love, all boundaries can be transcended; because of love, people from two different worlds can be closely connected."
Under the starry sky of Yumenosaki, their love story will never end, like a sweet ballad, gently sung through time.
