Hand in hand, Xinyu and Yingzhi walked along the winding path toward the lake surrounded by maple trees. Since Xinyu confessed to Yingzhi that she might never be able to return to her original world, their relationship had grown even closer, marking the beginning of their shared journey into the future.

The two walked to the lakeside, and Yingzhi lit a maple leaf-shaped river lantern first. The candlelight danced in the lantern, reflecting his determined gaze. "No matter where you are, I will find you," he whispered, gently placing the lantern into the water.
Xin Yu accepted the star-shaped river lantern, a warm feeling welling up inside her. She recalled the moment she traveled to Hoshino, every day in Yumenosaki, and Eichi's constant companionship and support. "Whether I can go back or not, I will stay by your side," she whispered, placing the lantern into the water.
Two river lanterns drifted slowly away with the current, just like their love—though the future was unknown, it was full of hope. Yingzhi gently held Xinyu's hand, and the two stood side by side by the lake, watching the lanterns trace two golden lines on the water's surface.
"Look, how much they resemble us," Yingzhi said softly, a gentle light shining in her eyes. "Though we come from different worlds, we will eventually meet."
Xinyu leaned on Yingzhi's shoulder, feeling his warm body temperature and firm heartbeat. She knew that even if she couldn't return to her original world, here, by Yingzhi's side, she had found a new belonging. Their love, like these river lanterns, though it had weathered storms, would ultimately lead to the light.
As night fell, the river lanterns on the lake shone brightly in the darkness. Yingzhi gently kissed Xinyu's forehead: "You belong here, you belong to me."

From their initial encounter to their current deep understanding and commitment, every challenge has strengthened their bond. The river lanterns drifted further and further across the lake, eventually disappearing into the night. But Xinyu knew that wherever they went, they carried their hopes and promises for the future.
