Han's father asked, "You brat, you've finally decided to come back?"
"Dad, I had to go take care of something." Han Feng leaned closer to the dining table, secretly grabbed a dumpling, and stuffed it into his mouth. "Uncle Lin asked me to handle something, so I just got back."
"Go wash your hands, you brat!" Han's mother smacked his hand with a rolling pin, the force not too light, not too heavy. "How old are you, still stealing food?"
A burst of laughter erupted at the dining table. Han Feng rubbed the back of his hand as he walked towards the kitchen, his heart filled with warmth.
After a quick dinner, Han Feng took the two girls back to Villa No. 1. Su Wanwan plopped down on the sofa, patting her stomach contentedly: "Auntie's dumplings were so delicious! I ate thirty!"
"No wonder I felt it wasn't enough." Han Feng flicked her forehead, then turned to Liu Mengran, "Did you guys cultivate today?"
Liu Mengran shook her head: "Wanwan said she'd teach us the correct method when you come back."
Han Feng glanced at the wall clock—nine o'clock at night, perfect time. He gestured for the two to sit on the carpet: "Today I'll teach you how to absorb the power of the stars on your own."
"Like you, sparkling all over?" Su Wanwan sat up straight excitedly.
"...That's not called seeing stars," Han Feng corrected helplessly. "Now close your eyes and feel the flow of energy within your body."
He sat down opposite them, placing his hands on their palms. A cool, stellar energy slowly flowed in, guiding the dormant energy within them.
"Imagine a galaxy flowing through your body," Han Feng said softly. "Starting from the dantian, it travels upwards through the Tanzhong acupoint, then branches out towards your arms..."
Liu Mengran's brows furrowed slightly, but quickly relaxed. Han Feng could feel the energy within her body beginning to flow slowly but steadily along the designated path. Su Wanwan, on the other hand, was more impatient, her energy rushing around like a headless fly.
"Wanwan, don't rush." Han Feng gently squeezed her hand. "Follow my guidance."
An hour later, Liu Mengran suddenly exclaimed softly, "I saw it!"
A faint light appeared on her chest, barely visible through her pajamas. Han Feng nodded with satisfaction: "The Tanzhong acupoint is lit up; this is the first key milestone."
"That's not fair!" Su Wanwan pouted. "Why did Sister Mengran break through first?"
No sooner had she finished speaking than a burst of light suddenly shot from her right wrist, startling her so much she almost jumped up: "Wow! What's that?"
"Laogong acupoint." Han Feng smiled and withdrew his hand. "You've already memorized the acupoint's movement path; now practice on your own."
The two girls were immediately immersed in the novel energy circulation. Han Feng leaned back on the sofa, watching their expressions shift from surprise to confusion, a smile unconsciously creeping onto his lips. Liu Mengran's aura became increasingly stable, while Su Wanwan's, though fluctuating more, showed astonishing progress.
Another hour passed, and Liu Mengran slowly opened her eyes, starlight seemingly swirling in her pupils: "Han Feng, I feel... something's different." She raised her hand, a tiny point of light gathering at her fingertips, "Is this the power of the stars?"
Su Wanwan couldn't wait to show off her results—three irregularly jumping light particles were floating above her palm. Although they were unstable, their number already surpassed Liu Mengran's.
"Am I a genius?" Su Wanwan asked smugly.
Just as Han Feng was about to praise her, the light particles in her palm suddenly went out with a "poof," followed by a loud burp. The smell of dumplings filled the air.
"Looks like thirty dumplings are going to affect your cultivation." Han Feng raised an eyebrow mischievously.
Enraged, Su Wanwan lunged at him and grabbed his neck, causing the three of them to burst into laughter. Once they calmed down, Liu Mengran suddenly asked, "Han Feng, why didn't I see you absorb the power of the stars yourself?"
"Yeah!" Su Wanwan also realized, "You only teach us, but you don't practice yourself?"
Han Feng froze. How could he explain the difference in time flow within the cultivation space? How could he explain that he didn't actually need to cultivate at all, and that the Star Vein Diagram possessed the ability to autonomously absorb the power of the stars?
"I..." he stammered, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, "My cultivation method is a little different..."
"What's different?" Su Wanwan pressed closer, her nose almost touching his face. "Did you secretly practice at night?"
Liu Mengran also cast a curious glance. Han Feng, quick-witted, suddenly pointed out the window: "Look! A shooting star!"
Taking advantage of the moment the two turned their heads, he flipped over and leaped off the sofa: "I'm going to take a shower! You guys keep practicing!"
"Han! Feng!" Su Wanwan's angry roar rang out from behind, "Do you think we're three-year-olds?!"
The bathroom door closed, and Han Feng let out a long sigh. The warm water washed over his body, but he was thinking about a more complex issue—as Liu Mengran and Su Wanwan officially embarked on the path of cultivation, they would face more dangers, but also be better able to protect themselves.
From outside the door came Su Wanwan's angry shout: "Hurry up and wash! You haven't answered us yet!"
"Grandma, please spare me. I'll tell you after I take a shower, okay?" Han Feng was both amused and exasperated, not expecting Su Wanwan to be so determined to get to the bottom of things.
"Okay, Mengran and I will wait for you at the door. Come out quickly when you're done washing," Su Wanwan said.
"Sigh, looks like my little secret won't be able to be kept." Han Feng sighed.
Twenty minutes later, Han Feng came out drying his hair, only to find Su Wanwan and Liu Mengran waiting at the door.
Ignoring everything else, Han Feng picked up the two women, one in each arm. Just as Su Wanwan was about to speak, she felt her feet leave the ground.
"Ah~!" The two girls didn't react in time before Han Feng picked them up and carried them to the room.
"You pervert! What are you doing?" Su Wanwan shouted.
"Oh? Damn!" Han Feng said with a wicked grin.
Liu Mengran's cheeks were flushed. Although they had all had relationships with Han Feng, the three of them together...
Thinking of this, she immediately dared not continue thinking, afraid that she would think of things she shouldn't.
Inside the room, clothes were carelessly tossed on the floor.
Liu Mengran and Su Wanwan huddled in Han Feng's arms. After exchanging glances, the two women were so ashamed and indignant that they dared not look at each other.
The culprit was watching the two of them and laughing.
"Now you've got what you wanted, haven't you?" Liu Mengran broke the silence first.
"Huh? What do I wish for?" Han Feng retorted.
Su Wanwan pouted, clearly displeased: "How dare you say that? Just now you..." Before she could finish, Su Wanwan was too embarrassed to continue.
Han Feng was amused by their reactions, and his hands began to wander aimlessly again.
Su Wanwan slapped his groping hand away: "Now can you tell us why we've never seen you absorb the power of the stars, yet you've reached the fifth level of the mid-stage of the Acquired Realm?"
