Chapter 316 Old Friends

"Clear the front yard." Han Feng pressed his earpiece. "Dongfang Lin, take men and seal off all exits."

"Understood!" Dongfang Lin's voice was accompanied by the sound of sword energy cutting through the air. "Star Lord, be careful, there's an energy reaction in the inner courtyard!"

Han Feng had already sensed that fluctuation—it was different from the energy of a martial artist, more like… His eyes sharpened.

"Wanwan, scan the energy signature of the inner courtyard," he commanded in a low voice, waving his hand to signal the team to stop. "Compare it with the energy of the Nether Crystal Clan."

Su Wanwan immediately took action: "The compatibility isn't high; it must be a different kind of energy."

As expected. Han Feng's lips curled into a cold smile. There must be other extraterrestrial forces lurking behind the Miyamoto family. He formed hand seals, and the three star mirrors within his body lit up simultaneously, projecting complex star maps onto the surface of his skin.

\"break.\"

As the word was uttered, the artificial hill thirty meters ahead exploded, revealing the entrance to a hidden underground passage. Four guards shrouded in black robes appeared hastily, their weapons gleaming with an ominous blue light.

"Leave them alive," Han Feng said softly, while making a fist with his right hand.

The starlight in the night sky suddenly distorted, transforming into tangible chains that bound the four men in black robes. One of them suddenly let out a shrill, inhuman scream, and blue patterns burst forth beneath his skin—

"Back off!" Han Feng shouted, and the power of the stars instantly formed a wall of light in front of him.

\"Bang!\"

The black-robed figure exploded like a balloon, scattering blue crystal powder that hissed and corroded the light wall. The other three also self-destructed, turning everything within a ten-meter radius into an eerie blue.

"Star Lord!" Dongfang Lin arrived with his men. "This is..."

"A new extraterritorial force." Han Feng retracted the light barrier, his face grim. "It seems the Miyamoto family is far more complex than it appears."

He strode towards the entrance of the passage, starlight paving a path of light beneath his feet, instantly extinguishing all the blue crystal dust that touched it. The passage extended downwards, with the faint hum of machinery emanating from its end.

"Han Feng." The headset suddenly switched to Liu Mengran's voice, "There's something unusual going on at the Matsui family's residence. Three convoys are heading in your direction!"

Han Feng continued walking: "Let's create some trouble and hold them off for a while."

"But..." Liu Mengran's voice was filled with worry, "Miyamoto Kenichi is in the convoy; he's no longer at the Miyamoto residence."

Han Feng's eyes flickered slightly, but he quickly regained his cold expression: "Leave it to Zhang Jingcheng. You come with your brother to the inner courtyard now."

Just then, a loud clanging of gears snapping came from deep within the passage, followed by a violent tremor of the entire ground. Han Feng flashed forward like an arrow, rushing towards the source of the sound, leaving the members of the Dongfang family behind him barely able to keep up with his speed.

The passage suddenly opened up into a spherical space nearly a hundred meters in diameter. Suspended in the center was a massive device made of blue crystals, its complex structure resembling some kind of alien technology. A dozen researchers in white coats were frantically destroying data, while at the core of the device, a palm-sized fragment floated in blue energy.

"This is..." Han Feng's pupils contracted, "A fragment of cosmic energy?"

His whisper was drowned out by the piercing alarm. A transparent force field suddenly rose around the device, isolating the researchers. One of the white-haired elders looked up and met Han Feng's gaze, revealing a sinister smile, before pressing a button in his hand.

\"boom--!\"

The entire underground space began to collapse, and at the same time, the blue device emitted a blinding light. Han Feng instantly realized the situation—the other party was about to activate the self-destruct sequence!

"Everyone evacuate!" he roared, pushing forward with both hands, sending a torrent of stellar energy surging towards the device. "I'll cover the retreat!"

Before Dongfang Lin could say anything more, he was pushed out of the passage by a gentle yet irresistible force. The entire underground space began to twist and deform, and spiderweb-like spatial cracks appeared around the blue device.

Han Feng stood at the center of the energy turbulence, the three Star Mirrors resonating within his body, forming a stable triangular force field. He stared at the white-haired old man so close to him, and suddenly a thought flashed through his mind.

"Break it for me."

Those three simple words seemed to trigger some ancient mechanism. The fragment trembled violently, suddenly breaking free from the energy's restraints, transforming into a stream of light that surged into the blue light released by the Star Mirror, and began to shatter.

"No!" The white-haired old man roared in unwilling anger, and was then swallowed up by the spatial rift.

The blue device, having lost its power source, began to overload, and the terrifying energy fluctuations were enough to raze the entire Miyamoto family compound to the ground. Han Feng, however, smiled. He slowly raised his right hand, condensing a miniature black hole-like energy ball in his palm.

"Four Forms of Starfall: Return to Ruins"

The energy sphere gently landed at the core of the device. There was no explosion, no shockwave, only absolute darkness spreading out, engulfing the overloaded device, the collapsing space, and all the chaotic energy...

When Han Feng walked out of the passage alone, the Miyamoto family mansion was already mostly collapsed. Dongfang Lin led his men to meet him, but dared not approach—at this moment, Han Feng was surrounded by tangible starlight, and every step he took left a glowing footprint on the ground, as if a god had descended to earth.

"Lord Star, the Chishang family's convoy is less than five kilometers away from here," Dongfang Lin reported respectfully.

Han Feng gazed in that direction, his eyes gleaming like stars: "Perfect." He gently patted his chest, a surge of power coursing through his meridians. "It saves us the trouble of searching for them."

In the distance, several car headlights pierced the darkness of the night sky, like moths drawn to a flame, rushing toward this newly formed black hole.

The night wind, carrying the smell of gunpowder, swept across the ruins. Han Feng stood silently amidst the crumbling walls of the Miyamoto family mansion, starlight enveloping him like a veil. The scattered points of light were not still, but rather flowed slowly along some mysterious trajectory, as if miniature galaxies were revolving around a center.

"Star Lord, should we...?" Dongfang Lin transmitted his voice from the shadows.

Han Feng shook his head slightly, a subtle movement that sent ripples of starlight through the air: "You all hold the outer perimeter." His voice wasn't loud, yet it strangely pierced the entire battlefield. "The Ikegami family, I'll handle that."

The roar of engines grew closer in the distance, headlights piercing the smoke and dust, illuminating the ruins with flickering light. The first thing to rush in wasn't a vehicle, but a crazed figure—Kenichi Miyamoto, covered in blood, his right arm twisted unnaturally, his eyes burning with hysterical hatred.

"Han Feng! You destroyed my home, I'll make you pay with your life!"

The once high and mighty patriarch now appeared to be insane, his remaining left palm condensing twisted energy as he forcibly increased his power at the cost of burning his life force. The flames were no longer pure crimson, but a dark purple mixed with black energy, corroding even rubble with holes wherever they passed.

Han Feng didn't even blink; he simply raised his right hand and waved it lightly, as if swatting away a mosquito.

"Smack!"

With a crisp sound, Miyamoto Kenichi's forward momentum abruptly stopped, and a clear palm print appeared out of thin air on his left cheek.
