Lin Zhengguo was standing at the office door when he saw Han Feng approaching. His expression was grave: "I just received news that the Matsui family seemed to have been active on Mount Fuji last night."
Han Feng paused slightly: "It seems that Aya Ikegami's return... just in time for a good show."
In the distance, a beam of light suddenly burst forth from the direction of the medical area, disappearing in an instant. It was a fluctuation of spatial teleportation—Aya Ikegami had already set off.
Han Feng made a quick decision: "Liu Xiaoran, you take a team of Reverse Scale members and head to R Country immediately. You only need to observe secretly."
"Yes!" Liu Xiaoran did not hesitate at all. He immediately turned around and left with swift and silent steps to begin his troop inspection.
Han Feng then naturally pushed open the door to Lin Zhengguo's office and walked in. This action made Chen Feng shake his head, but he was already used to it. In the entire Longyuan Base, only Lieutenant Colonel Han would dare to enter General Lin's office without knocking.
After sitting back in his office chair, Lin Zhengguo got straight to the point and asked, "What are your plans next?"
Han Feng sat down opposite him, his eyes sharp: "I have the overseas lists."
Lin Zhengguo raised an eyebrow: "The target of suspicion?"
Han Feng shook his head, his tone certain: "These are several confirmed destinations. Once Liu Xiaoran arrives in R country and the intelligence feedback confirms the Matsui family's movements, we will immediately take action."
"Where to our first stop?" Lin Zhengguo leaned forward slightly.
“The first stop is of course the United States.” Han Feng pointed his finger in the air, and a miniature world map made of star power appeared, with the location of the United States highlighted. “They were the first to develop the gene serum, so their technology is the most mature and their source is the clearest. Moreover, according to the current intelligence, the headquarters of the ‘Moon God’ organization is very likely hidden in the United States.”
Lin Zhengguo pondered for a moment, then nodded: "The situation in the US is complicated, with various forces deeply entrenched. Their 'Superman Project' and those private armed companies are no pushovers either. Since you have an idea, then do it your way." He paused, his tone resolute, "If there's anything the government needs to do, just let us know! Resources, intelligence, and diplomacy will all be given the green light."
"Understood. I won't hesitate to help when needed." Han Feng nodded, put away the star map, and then stood up. "I'll go prepare now."
Han Feng arrived at the lounge prepared for him at the base. The alloy door slid shut silently behind him, shutting out the noise from the outside world. He didn't turn on the lights, but walked straight to the center of the room. A faint glint of starlight flashed at his fingertips, and an encrypted communication interface appeared out of thin air.
The call was answered almost instantly, and Dongfang Lin's calm voice came through: "Star Lord."
"Pass the word down," Han Feng said succinctly, "Tomorrow, we will land in the United States. Our first stop will be the Howard family."
"Understood. Personnel will be deployed immediately, and flight routes and entry permits will be prepared within three hours." Dongfang Lin's answer was decisive, efficient, and reliable.
"Also," Han Feng pondered for a moment, then shared the information he had gleaned from the depths of Chi Shangling's consciousness, "E Country, the Wolf family. Europe Country, the Sharif family. Immediately send more people to these two families to conduct remote monitoring and intelligence gathering, and be sure to do so discreetly."
There was a two-second silence on Dongfang Lin's end, clearly he was quickly taking notes and analyzing: "Wolf... Sharif... Received. Star Lord, are these two families also related to the Nether Crystal Clan?"
"They are important supporters and partners of the 'Moon God' organization," Han Feng affirmed, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. "A large part of the Chishang family's funds and technology flowed through them. Behind the Moon God organization, there must be the Nether Crystal Clan, and possibly even the Moon Demon Clan. Keeping a close eye on them might lead us to clues about the Moon God headquarters or Nether Crystal Clan infiltrators."
He paused, then raised his voice, his tone serious and leaving no room for doubt: “Tell the brothers in charge of surveillance that the other side is not an ordinary secular force. They are extremely vigilant and their methods are extraordinary. Their own safety is the top priority. If they discover anything unusual, even the slightest suspicion, they must report it immediately. They must not act rashly or alert the enemy.”
"Yes! Rest assured, Star Lord, I will personally select the most skilled individuals adept at concealment and reconnaissance, and utilize the highest-grade stealth equipment. The instructions will also be clearly communicated." Dongfang Lin solemnly agreed, understanding what Han Feng's emphasis meant—the opponent was a terrifying being from beyond the stars.
"Okay, I'll leave it to you. Contact me anytime if anything comes up." Han Feng said, ending the call.
After finishing all this, Han Feng took a deep breath. He was about to leave home again and planned to have dinner with his parents that evening. Then he remembered that Wang Hao was still training at the base. Perhaps it would be a good thing to take Wang Hao with him this time and let him gain some more experience.
The alloy door of the training room slid open silently. Han Feng leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed, his eyes immediately drawn to the fierce battle in the arena.
Night Owl's figure blurred into afterimages, his dagger flashing like a viper's tongue, stabbing at Wang Hao's vitals from various tricky angles. Meanwhile, the viper slithered on the ground, its legs sweeping towards Wang Hao's lower body like steel whips. The two coordinated perfectly, their attacks relentless and overwhelming.
But Wang Hao's performance surprised Han Feng even more.
A faint starlight flowed around Wang Hao, and with each step he took, he precisely avoided the blind spots of the combined attack. He did not take the attacks head-on, but used some kind of mysterious movement technique to make the Night Owl and Viper's killing moves interfere with each other—several times the Night Owl's dagger almost accidentally injured the Viper, and the Viper's sweeping leg forced the Night Owl to change his move.
"Using someone's strength against them?" Han Feng raised an eyebrow. This didn't seem like the methods of traditional ancient martial arts; it was more like... the trajectory of the stars.
What's even more astonishing is Wang Hao's cultivation level. Han Feng clearly sensed that the surging energy within him had reached the late-stage Great Perfection of the Innate Realm, just one step away from breaking through to the Great Dao Realm. This cultivation speed is simply terrifying!
"Starlight... Bind!" Wang Hao suddenly shouted, his hands forming a complex hand seal.
Suddenly, the training ground was ablaze with starlight, and countless points of light emerged from the void, coalescing into chains that coiled around Night Owl and Viper. The two visibly slowed, their movements becoming sluggish as if stuck in quagmire.
The owl roared, and its dagger unleashed a burst of black mist, attempting to corrode the starlight chains. But the chains, once destroyed, immediately reformed, absorbing the black mist and becoming even more solid.
"Damn it! What the hell is this?!" Viper exclaimed as her legs were bound by three chains, suspending her in mid-air.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Wang Hao lunged forward, his fingertips flashing with starlight like a dagger, precisely striking Night Owl's wrist. The dagger clattered to the ground, and Night Owl groaned as he staggered back several steps.
"You flatter me." Wang Hao stopped his stance and stood still, the starlight around him slowly receding. The venomous snake that had been hanging there gently fell, and the starlight chains turned into specks of light and dissipated.
