Chapter 20 Encounter at the Villa

The next morning, Han Feng dialed Qin Chuan's number.

"President Han!" Qin Chuan's voice was full of excitement on the other end of the phone. "Following your instructions, we shorted US tech stocks and leveraged our positions in crude oil futures. Now, Maple Leaf Investment's account balance has exceeded 200 million!"

Han Feng was not surprised—although he was in Longyuan for the past two months, he would occasionally give Qin Chuan some key hints through the future financial trends provided by System Zero.

"Well done," Han Feng said calmly. "Order me a car, a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a limited edition."

"Understood! I'll contact them right away—"

That afternoon, a matte black Ferrari SF90 stopped in front of Kyoto Huafu.

A 3.9T V8 hybrid system, 1000 horsepower, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds, priced over 5 million. Su Wanwan circled the car and whistled, "Nice taste!"

Han Feng had just taken the key when Zero's notification sound suddenly rang in his mind:

"Ding! Detected that the host has purchased his first supercar, triggering the 'Peak Ride' mission!"

Mission Requirements: Perform three extreme drift maneuvers in Kyoto city (with zero accidents)

"Reward: Bugatti La Voiture Noire (only one in the world, valued at 80 million) + professional-level driving skills"

"Hehe, host, this reward is pretty good, isn't it?"

"It's alright, I'll try again next time."

That night, on a closed racetrack outside Beijing, the roar of Ferrari engines echoed through the night sky. Han Feng executed three high-speed drifts in quick succession with near-perfect skill, the blue smoke rising from the tires against the ground appearing ghostly in the moonlight.

"Mission accomplished!"

"Reward issued: Bugatti La Voiture Noire will arrive tomorrow."

The system's voice announced, "Professional-level driver proficiency activated (including F1-level driving skills, rally racing experience, stunt driving, etc.)." However, this time Zero was smarter and didn't use that cheeky tone anymore.

When Han Feng returned to the villa, he found Su Wanwan squatting at the garage door with her computer in her arms.

"You went racing and didn't even call me?!" She looked up angrily, then suddenly froze. "Wait... why do you smell like racing gasoline? And the way you walk, it's like you've been driving an F1 car for ten years..."

Han Feng casually tossed her the Ferrari keys: "A new car is arriving tomorrow, you can drive this one."

Su Wanwan hurriedly caught the keys, and before she could react, she heard Han Feng add:

"The prerequisite is—to dig out all the information on the 'Blood Blade' mercenary group."

Su Wanwan narrowed her eyes: "This is bribing a state official!"

"Don't want it?" Han Feng pretended to take the key back.

"Yes, yes, yes!" She dodged with a backflip, her red hair flying in the night wind. "Wait! Within 24 hours, I'll find out even the color of their commander's underwear!"

"By the way, school is about to start, what major did you choose?"

"Computers, I'm going to compete with the professor for the work!" Su Wanwan was very excited when she thought about it.

"Oh~ that's quite Su Wanwan-like." Han Feng said with a smile.

"What do you mean? Don't go, come out here and explain yourself!" Su Wanwan said frantically.

Throughout the holiday, whenever Su Wanwan did something unexpected, Han Feng would say, "That's so Su Wanwan."

This led many soldiers to learn this phrase used to mock Su Wanwan.

The next day, Han Feng arrived at Kyoto International Airport. Today was the day his good friend Wang Hao was coming to Kyoto. School was starting in a few days, so Wang Hao called Han Feng to say that he was planning to come early.

Han Feng parked his car in the parking lot and went to the arrival gate alone.

Along the way, many people, especially women, drooled over Han Feng's handsome appearance. Some open-minded foreign friends even went so far as to say, "Oh my God, I want to have your babies."

A moment later, Wang Hao dragged his suitcase out of the passage, his eyes searching for Han Feng's figure in the crowd. He hadn't seen him for two months and had assumed Han Feng would still be the same aloof, academically gifted man, but when he actually saw the man standing not far away, he almost didn't recognize him.

Han Feng wore a simple black casual suit, his posture upright like a pine tree. His once slightly thin shoulders were now much broader, and his exposed arms had well-defined lines, with skin displaying a healthy tan. The naivety of his student days had faded from his brows, replaced by a calm and reserved aura. Standing in the crowd, he was like a sword yet to be drawn, its sharpness concealed.

"Holy crap... Han Feng?!" Wang Hao's eyes widened, and the luggage in his hand fell to the ground with a "thud".

Han Feng smiled slightly and walked over to help him pick up his luggage: "What, you don't recognize me after just two months?"

Wang Hao looked him up and down, stammering, "You...you went to participate in special forces training?! You're like a completely different person!"

Han Feng didn't answer, but just patted him on the shoulder: "Let's go, the car is outside."

The two arrived at the parking lot. When Wang Hao saw the matte black Bugatti La Voiture Noire, his jaw nearly dropped to his feet.

"This...this car is yours?!" He circled the supercar three times, his finger trembling as he pointed at the emblem. "Bugatti?! The one that's one of a kind in the world?!"

Han Feng calmly pressed the car key, and the butterfly door slowly rose: "Well, I made a little money doing business."

Wang Hao: "...You call this 'small change'?!"

System Zero thought to Han Feng, "Host, your brother looks like he's seen a ghost."

Han Feng: "Shut up."

Villa No. 01, Kyoto Huafu.

Before Wang Hao could recover from the shock of the supercar, he was stunned by the sight of the mansion before him. As soon as he stepped into the living room, he heard the clattering of a keyboard coming from upstairs. Then, a girl with short, wine-red hair, a lollipop in her mouth, wearing a loose t-shirt and hot pants, came bounding down the stairs barefoot.

"Han Feng! There's no Coke in the fridge!" she yelled, then suddenly noticed Wang Hao standing to the side, blinked, and asked, "Huh? Who's this?"

Wang Hao's eyes widened instantly. He looked at Han Feng, then at Su Wanwan, and suddenly had a look of realization on his face. He slapped his thigh and exclaimed, "Hello, sister-in-law!"

The air froze instantly.

Han Feng: "...?"

Su Wanwan: "...Huh?"

Completely oblivious to the awkward atmosphere, Wang Hao warmly approached her, saying, "Sister-in-law, you're so beautiful! I'm Wang Hao, Han Feng's high school buddy. What's your name?"

The lollipop in Su Wanwan's mouth shattered with a "crack".

Han Feng grabbed Wang Hao by the back of his collar and said expressionlessly, "She isn't."

Wang Hao: "Huh? Then she is..."

Su Wanwan suddenly grinned, grabbed Han Feng's arm, and said in a deliberately sweet voice, "Oh, little Fengfeng, why are you so shy? Didn't you call me 'Wanwan' last night?"

Han Feng: "...Su Wanwan."

Su Wanwan: "Hmm?"

Han Feng: "Do you want to die?"

System Zero: "Host's blood pressure is rising; calm down is advised."

Wang Hao then realized he had made a blunder and awkwardly scratched his head: "Uh... so you guys are..."

"Colleague," Han Feng said coldly.

“Roommate!” Su Wanwan said at the same time.

The two exchanged a glance.

Wang Hao: "...?"

The atmosphere became even more awkward.
