The maniacal laughter of the Bai family member as he was taken away suddenly replayed in Han Feng's mind—"You have no idea what you're fighting against!" He shuddered and immediately exited the cultivation space.
In the real world, it was already dusk outside the window. The sound of suitcase wheels rolling and Su Wanwan's loud, shouting instructions came from downstairs. Han Feng pushed open the door and saw the three women already dressed and ready to go.
Liu Mengran changed into a set of sportswear that was easy to move in, with a medical kit attached to her waist; Su Wanwan had a weapon box almost as tall as her on her back; Dongfang Wantang held a star chart, the star pattern between her eyebrows brighter than usual.
"The timeline has been moved up," Han Feng said in a deep voice. "We just received intelligence that the Nether Crystal Clan may have already found the landing container."
Su Wanwan whistled: "So we're going to have a team battle? Exciting!"
"Specific plans?" Liu Mengran cut straight to the point.
"Two steps." Han Feng unfolded the 3D map provided by Zero. "First, destroy the Seven Star Space Point, and at the same time, retrieve the extraterrestrial fragments. The elites of the Dongfang and Zhang families will cooperate with us."
Seven red dots on the map are flashing rapidly, and three of them have already formed a dangerous triangle.
"What's the worst-case scenario?" Liu Mengran asked softly.
Han Feng put away the map, his eyes gleaming: "If the Nether Crystal Clan Emperor arrives ahead of schedule, we will be forced to fight a world defense war in R Country."
The room fell silent. Outside the window, the last rays of the setting sun were swallowed by dark clouds, and seven unusually bright "stars" were faintly visible on the horizon.
"Let's go." Han Feng picked up his backpack. "Let's go to the meeting point first."
The night sky above the Eastern Family's secret realm was clearer than the outside world, which made the seven unusual "stars" appear even more dazzling. They were arranged in a strange dipper shape, and their brightness increased every few minutes, as if it were some kind of countdown.
Han Feng stood at the entrance of the secret realm, watching the various groups of people arriving one after another. The first to arrive was the Dragon Abyss "Reverse Scale" team—ten fully armed special forces members, led by Chen Feng, stood in neat rows, their tactical boots making a dull echo on the bluestone slabs.
"Reporting to the Star Lord! The entire Reverse Scale Squad is present!" Chen Feng gave a standard military salute, his eyes glancing at the three women behind Han Feng, lingering on Liu Mengran for half a second longer.
Wang Hao jumped out from the group, excitedly punching Han Feng on the shoulder: "Brother Feng! Are we going all out this time?" He glanced at the exaggerated weapon case behind Su Wanwan, whistled, and said, "Even the wives' group is ready to go?"
"Shut up." Su Wanwan rolled her eyes, but quietly adjusted her position, letting the weapon case cover her reddened ear tips.
Liu Xiaoran silently walked to his sister's side, his gaze lingering on the medical kit at Liu Mengran's waist for a moment before turning to Han Feng, his brows furrowing slightly.
"She's already at the late stage of the Innate Realm," Han Feng said, knowing his elder brother's worries. "And I'll always be by their side." He paused, then lowered his voice, "Keep an eye on Wang Hao for me; that kid's too reckless."
Liu Xiaoran nodded almost imperceptibly and returned to the group. This simple exchange brought a lump to Liu Mengran's throat—from childhood to adulthood, her brother had always been like this, using silent actions to express a thousand words.
More people arrived one after another: the astrologers from the Dongfang family wore silver-white robes and carried various star charts; the ancient martial artists from the Zhang family were all dressed in black, with special cold weapons at their waists. The last to arrive was the Longyuan logistics team, personally led by Lin Zhengguo, whose dozen or so sealed boxes were carefully placed in the center of the open space.
"Everyone," Han Feng leaped onto the high altar, his voice, though not loud, carrying clearly throughout the entire area, "The arrival of the Nether Crystal Clan's emperor has come earlier than expected. According to intelligence, they have already established seven spatial weak points in R Country." He pointed to the seven dazzling "stars" in the sky, "Once all of them are activated, it will be enough to unleash the Nether Crystal Clan's army."
Suppressed gasps rose from the crowd. Even the most well-trained soldiers would waver in the face of such a supernatural threat.
"Our mission is to destroy these seven points separately, while simultaneously recovering the extraterrestrial fragments." Han Feng deployed the 3D projection provided by Zero. Three of the seven red dots had already formed a dangerous triangle. "The Dongfang family and the Zhang family will each be responsible for one point, the Reverse Scale Squad for two points, and I will personally handle the core point."
Chen Feng stepped forward and added, "The transportation is ready. A swarm of helicopters will take us to 'Qingluo Island' in the East China Sea, and then we'll transfer to disguised fishing boats to enter R country's waters." He glanced at his watch. "The first batch will depart in ten minutes."
Lin Zhengguo walked to Han Feng's side and handed him a metal box: "A newly developed space stabilizer, capable of temporarily freezing the expansion of weak points." The old man's voice was extremely low, "If... if we really can't stop it from descending, at least don't let it happen in a densely populated area."
Han Feng took the box, the icy touch reminding him of the Bai family scion's frantic warning. He took a deep breath: "Understood."
"Star Lord." Dongfang Wantang suddenly tugged at his sleeve, the star pattern between her brows flashing intensely. "The positions of the Seven Stars have changed again! The third and fifth points are resonating at an accelerated pace!"
Everyone looked up and saw that two "stars" in the sky suddenly became much brighter, with faint bands of light connecting them.
"Act ahead of schedule!" Han Feng shouted sharply, "Let's go now!"
The entire secret realm instantly erupted in excitement. The team members quickly divided into groups according to the pre-arranged plan, while the logistics personnel distributed the last batch of equipment. Liu Mengran was checking the medical kits when Han Feng suddenly pulled her aside.
"Take this." Han Feng placed a jade pendant, its surface shimmering with starlight, into her palm. "If you encounter danger, crush it; I'll sense it immediately."
The jade pendant felt warm to the touch, and seemed to contain flowing galaxies. Just as Liu Mengran was about to speak, the roar of a helicopter rotor came from afar.
"First batch, board!" Chen Feng's shout cut through the noise.
Han Feng glanced at the three girls one last time—Liu Mengran nodded, clutching the jade pendant; Su Wanwan gave an OK sign; and Dongfang Wantang had already entered a divination state, her astrolabe hovering in front of her. He turned and leaped onto the nearest helicopter, with Liu Xiaoran and Wang Hao following closely behind.
Inside the cabin, Chen Feng handed over a tactical tablet: "The latest satellite imagery from Country R. Three of the seven points are in the Tokyo Bay area, two are near Mount Fuji, and the remaining two..."
"In the Yasukuni Shrine and beneath the Imperial Palace." Han Feng sneered, "They really know how to pick a location."
The helicopter squadron silently ascended into the night, shooting towards the East China Sea like arrows released from a bow. Han Feng looked back through the porthole; the points of light in the secret realm grew smaller and smaller, while the seven "stars" in the sky grew brighter and brighter, like seven indifferent eyes watching these mortals who dared to defy fate.
"Estimated flight time: two hours," the pilot reported, turning around. "We can take a short break."
