Chapter 47 Su Wanwan's suitors?

Su Wanwan staggered a few steps, then suddenly grabbed the remote control from the sofa and threw it at Han Feng. Han Feng turned his head to dodge, but she took the opportunity to rush up and hug his waist, trying to use her weight to knock him down.

"Let go." Han Feng frowned.

"I won't let go!" Su Wanwan buried her face in his back, her voice muffled, "Unless you tell me about you and Liu Mengran... Ah!"

Han Feng grabbed her wrist and, with a deft movement, lifted her up and tossed her back onto the sofa. This time, he used a bit more force, and Su Wanwan bounced twice on the highly bouncy sofa cushions before coming to a stop.

"Again!" she exclaimed, panting as she got up, her face flushed with excitement. "You think I'm afraid of you?!"

Han Feng raised an eyebrow. He hadn't encountered such a fearless challenger in a long time. When Su Wanwan charged at him for the third time, he deliberately slowed down, making her think he was about to succeed, and then at the last moment, he suddenly turned to the side and casually pulled her around the waist.

"Ah!" Su Wanwan screamed, losing her balance and falling forward. Han Feng had intended to let her fall onto the sofa, but changed his mind at the last second, reaching out to catch her shoulder and firmly pressing her against the back of the sofa.

The two suddenly froze. Su Wanwan lay back on the edge of the sofa, Han Feng supporting himself with one hand near her ear and the other on her shoulder. Their faces were less than twenty centimeters apart, their breaths mingling.

Su Wanwan's eyes widened, and her lips parted slightly. Han Feng could smell the faint scent of strawberry shampoo in her hair, and the aroma of potato chips lingering on her clothes. At this distance, he could even see her eyelashes fluttering.

Time seemed to freeze for a few seconds.

"I won." Han Feng broke the silence first, straightening up.

Su Wanwan immediately sprang up like a startled rabbit, her face flushed red all the way to her ears: "You cheated! You used fighting techniques!" She grabbed a cushion and held it in front of her chest, suddenly losing her previous imposing manner.

Han Feng's lips curled into a slight smile: "If you're not satisfied, you can come again."

"Han Feng! I'm not done with you yet!" Su Wanwan said through gritted teeth.

the next day.

The Ferrari's engine noise still drew considerable attention when it faded in front of the computer science building. Han Feng had tried his best to keep a low profile—matte black paint, no modified exhaust, even the windows were tinted dark. But some things can't be hidden, like the sleek, cheetah-like lines of the car, and the striking red-haired girl in the passenger seat.

"Next time, I'll still drive your Bugatti." Su Wanwan unbuckled her seatbelt, a half-eaten piece of toast still dangling from her mouth. "That's so cool."

Han Feng glanced at her: "I don't want to be stared at like a monkey every day; it's too conspicuous."

"Being a little flashy is much better; it makes it easier for you to pick up girls."

"Junior Su!"

A loud male voice interrupted their conversation. At the entrance of the Computer Science Department, a young man in an expensive casual suit, with slicked-back hair, strode in, carrying a large bouquet of red roses—at least ninety-nine in total. Behind him were several followers holding up signs that read "Su Wanwan, I love you."

"Holy crap..." Su Wanwan's toast fell onto her lap. "Why is it this again..."

Han Feng grinned mischievously: "A suitor?"

"Zhao Mingkai, a senior in the Computer Science department, comes from a wealthy family and has been bothering me for a month." Su Wanwan rolled her eyes. "Last week, he even played a self-accompanied love song on the school radio; it was horribly awful."

Zhao Mingkai had already walked to the car and deliberately rubbed his knee against the Ferrari's door: "Hey, isn't this Han Feng from the Economics and Management Department?" He leaned down and looked at Han Feng through the car window, "I know you. Aren't you having an affair with Liu Mengran? Don't come here to ruin our junior Su's life."

Han Feng's eyes instantly turned cold. Su Wanwan, on the other hand, exploded, shoving the car door open and nearly hitting Zhao Mingkai: "Are you out of your mind?!"

Zhao Mingkai, unashamed, knelt on one knee and held up the roses: "Wanwan, I'm sincere! Look, I even sponsored your hacker club's recruitment poster!" He pointed to the newly hung banner in front of the building, "Be my girlfriend, and I'll provide whatever equipment your club needs!"

More and more students gathered around, and some started taking pictures with their phones. Su Wanwan's face turned bright red, but not from shyness. Han Feng knew this was a prelude to her outburst.

"Zhao Mingkai," Su Wanwan said, emphasizing each word, "I'm saying this one last time, I don't like you! Get out of my sight right now!"

Zhao Mingkai's smile remained unchanged: "Don't be so quick to refuse. I know you like people with good technical skills. I recently got an internship offer from Google..." He glanced meaningfully at Han Feng, "much better than some guys who just rely on their families to buy supercars."

Han Feng, who was about to drive away, turned off the engine upon hearing this. He slowly unbuckled his seatbelt, and his 1.85-meter height immediately made him appear taller than Zhao Mingkai when he got out of the car.

"Han Feng, don't..." Su Wanwan tried to stop him, thinking Han Feng was about to make a move, but he gently pushed her behind him.

Zhao Mingkai's henchmen immediately surrounded him. One of them, a blond-haired man, taunted, "What, want to fight? Our Brother Zhao is a black belt in karate!"

Han Feng didn't even glance at him, but calmly looked at Zhao Mingkai: "Apologize."

"Apologize for what?" Zhao Mingkai scoffed. "Did I say something wrong? That Bugatti of yours was bought by your family, right? Do you know who my dad is? Chairman of the Zhao Group! Your little toy cars are nothing in our family's eyes..."

"Han Feng is my boyfriend! So what!" Su Wanwan suddenly shouted.

The entire room fell silent instantly. Even the sparrows in the trees stopped chirping.

Su Wanwan herself was stunned, then blushed from head to toe like a boiled shrimp. But she didn't take back her words; instead, she grabbed Han Feng's arm: "So, so don't waste your energy! Go somewhere cool and stay there!"

Han Feng was stunned, a rare occurrence. He could feel Su Wanwan's hand trembling slightly as she held him, but she gripped it unusually tightly, as if afraid he would run away.

Zhao Mingkai's face turned from red to white to green, and several petals fell from the rose in his hand. He suddenly pointed at Han Feng: "Fine! Very well! Aren't you afraid of letting Liu Mengran find out?" His voice trembled slightly, "Han Feng, if you're a man, don't hide behind a woman! Do you dare to compete with me?"

"What are we competing in?" Han Feng asked casually.

"Let's see who's more capable and powerful!" Zhao Mingkai gritted his teeth. "There's an auction tonight at seven o'clock on the top floor of the Emperor Hotel. Everyone's going to bid on a gift, and we'll see who's more worthy of Wanwan!" He added viciously, "Don't try to show off with your family's money. Let's compare what you've earned yourself! Of course, someone as insignificant as you probably can't even get an invitation!"
