Chapter 67 "No." "I've been waiting for you."...

That's a story from a long time ago.

Buster Grand's real name was Buster Abbot Grand. He and Battan, as twin brothers, were born together in a noble mansion filled with the stench of money and decay.

Buster's mother, Randy, was one of the most famous pirates of her time. She met Buster's father, a nobleman who loved to travel, through a raid on a merchant ship.

The two developed feelings for each other and, after a romantic period together, decided to start a family. Randy resolutely gave up her freedom and everything she owned, returning to Buster's father's territory.

From that moment on, it became the starting point of disaster for Randy.

Upon returning to their territory, Landi discovered that her father had already married a lady, but the lady was much older and, due to a previous miscarriage, was unable to conceive again.

The father coveted the lady's family's power and was unwilling to divorce her, but he was also unwilling to separate from Buster's mother. So he tried every means to coax Randy into staying by his side.

Randy was, of course, unwilling; her belief was in freedom. For true love, she could give up her physical freedom, but if that love were mixed with something else, her soul would never allow it to yield.

But her father seemed to have foreseen from the beginning that she would choose to escape, and imprisoned her in the castle’s basement the night before Randy left.

From that day on, Buster's mother became a regular at the basement.

Her body was never mistreated, but the mental torment lasted for years. The only thing that sustained her was her twin blood, Buster and Battan.

From a young age, they were both instilled with the idea that their biological mother was that lady, but perhaps because their father had indeed loved their mother, he would allow them to visit her often.

But due to their father's oversight and obstruction, they never knew the truth.

Until Inco appeared.

Inco was a member of his mother Randy's pirate crew and also an admirer of hers. Out of concern and longing, he traveled a great distance to the territory where the nobles lived, only to find that there was no news of Randy at all.

Uneasy, he lay low for a long time before finally finding out where Randy was and uncovering the truth.

So when Buster was ten years old, he officially appeared before the two brothers.

Inco didn't tell them the truth. Instead, he used them to send a message to their mother, Landy, asking her to take them away. Unexpectedly, their mother refused the offer and begged Inco to take the brothers with her.

Inco did as instructed, but during their escape, they discovered that the castle where they had lived since childhood was on fire.

He later learned that the fire was started by his mother, Randy, for no other reason than to take the man who caused her pain with her.

"Bathan ultimately chose to go back and inherit that castle and the so-called title." Buster leaned forward slightly, as if whispering sweet nothings, resting his head on Reinhardt's shoulder, and recounted his past in a low voice.

Reinhardt's lace hat was quite large, and because it was worn at an angle, it left a lot of space on one side. Buster squeezed into that space, poking his big head in to whisper to Reinhardt.

His voice held little emotion or regret, as if he had lost interest in recalling that memory.

“Compared to me, Batan’s personality is more like that man’s, so he is grooming Batan as his successor.”

Perhaps for this reason, when Batan was ten years old, he began to follow his father's example and keep mistresses everywhere. By the age of thirteen, he had already gotten three or four women pregnant, but he was not very willing to let them give birth. Instead, he gave them a large sum of alimony and forced them to abort the children.

Later, probably finding it too troublesome, he started having affairs with men, and his affairs became increasingly promiscuous. Buster clashed with him a lot because of this, and then the two brothers went their separate ways and almost never saw each other again.

Inco took Buster away from their original territory, and the two lived together for several years. However, not long after, he contracted a serious illness and passed away.

He seemed very unwilling to accept this ending, and before he died, he begged Buster to find a way to bring him back to life no matter what.

Actually, everyone who hears this story thinks it's absurd; the magic of bringing the dead back to life is all nonsense.

There are no naturally occurring undead species in this world; once someone dies, they're simply dead.

Reinhardt, with his long hair flowing freely, listened patiently to Buster's story, then tilted his head slightly towards Buster. Feeling the other's breath near his nose, he tilted his head to make more room for the veil.

The free wind carried his whisper to Buster's ear: "Do you wish to bring your mother back to life?"

Reinhardt smells good.

Buster hugged him from behind, loosening his grip. He nuzzled against his soft face and hair, shaking his head and playing with the long strands of hair hanging down in front of him.

“I know very well that this is against the laws of nature and is not a good thing. My mother has passed away and may not want to suffer in this wretched world anymore. I respect her choice. The reason I brought Inko back to life is simply to keep the vow I made back then.”

"Will you be sad?" Reinhardt asked again in a low voice.

Like a kitten sensing someone's sadness, it came over and tugged at the hem of his clothes with its soft paws. Reinhardt's question made Buster feel an unprecedented tenderness and warmth in his heart.

He couldn't help but laugh and said, "You're concerned about me."

It wasn't a guess, it was a certainty.

Buster felt that his seemingly wooden lover was now paying attention to his feelings, and this must be a unique form of care from his lover, based on Reinhardt's kindness.

This is also an expression of love! Madonna, did you hear that?!

Then, like a lovesick fool, the Storm Leader kissed Reinhardt on the cheek and said, "That sadness has faded with time. Now, when I think about it, there's not much sadness left."

No sooner had he finished speaking than he had another wicked idea, and he deliberately coaxed Reinhardt into saying something.

"It's just that I feel very sad at night. God, please give believers a few more kisses of faith so that I can face each new day with courage."

Celine, who had been leading the way, suddenly interrupted.

Have some shame.

She couldn't listen to it anymore.

That saintly Thor's hammer! Showing off his love is one thing, but he also takes advantage of her and acts all innocent. He really doesn't treat her like a human being!

Buster rolled his eyes so no one could see, and was about to retort when the aircraft beneath his feet suddenly stopped and plummeted to the ground!

The Storm Leader immediately scooped up Reinhardt and, in sync with Celine, retrieved their aircraft, passing through the shadows of the trees and landing directly in the forest.

"What's wrong?" Reinhardt was getting better and better at expressing his curiosity, and Buster patted his butt to show his delight.

Celine didn't see the leader acting inappropriately. Her eyes scanned the device she had pulled out, and she sighed, "There's a barrier here; flying vehicles aren't allowed."

“That’s a good thing,” Buster said. “It means the Cloud Library is nearby.”

“It’s not that good either,” Celine retorted. “What if it really is in the sky? We’ll probably have to put in some effort… Take back your idea, Chief. Using brute force here is not very sincere. You also hope to get the news about Reinhard’s Eye smoothly, don’t you?”

Celine stopped the Storm Leader, who had already drawn his weapon.

"Can't I just fight my way in?!"

"no!"

Suddenly, a soft laugh came from Buster's arms. The two arguing individuals simultaneously turned their gazes to the blonde goddess in a sexy black dress.

Behind the sheer veil, her beautiful face curved into a gentle smile, radiant and captivating.

But soon, he reverted to being that sullen, handsome potato, as if his smile had never happened.

Immediately afterward, Reinhardt also muttered, "No."

Join forces with Celine to offer a small condemnation of Buster's reckless behavior.

Buster paused for a moment, then couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Fine, that won't do!" The hypocrite maintained his composure, earning Celine a delicate eye roll.

Since the bandit's beliefs have spoken, the bandit can only be a civilized bandit and honestly search for clues.

Reinhardt, nestled in Buster's arms, was also busy, using his senses to try and observe his surroundings.

Suddenly, he heard a whisper in his ear.

A melodious voice, gentle as flowing water, echoed in Reinhardt's mind.

"I've been waiting for you."

-----------------------

Author's Note: Celine: No way!

Buster: Screw him, I'll blow him to bits today!

Reinhardt: No.

Buster: Hmm! You're right! Be civilized!

Celine: I'm out of ideas, Chief, how about you bark a couple of times?
