Yun Zhe couldn't understand it, but he didn't say anything, since this question would definitely scare everyone present.
Blake gave Yun Zhe a meaningful look. "Yun Zhe, you should know that if what you say comes true in the end, then the feud between Serena and the Lunlang family will be completely settled."
Yun Zhe understood Blake's concerns. With their current strength, it seemed they couldn't truly deal with the Lunlang family, but given Serena's personality, she might cause them a lot of trouble.
"Take revenge when you need to, complain when you need to. If you don't react, people will look down on you," Yun Zhe replied softly.
Blake narrowed his eyes. "This is your advice to Serena? This advice is dangerous. You should know that the Lunlang family is backed by the royal family!"
“If we take this land under our control, then Serena will have more than just a royal family behind her,” Yun Zhe said in a deep voice.
Blake suddenly stood up, then slowly walked to Yun Zhe's side, staring into Yun Zhe's eyes and solemnly asked, "Do you have a way to get Serena this land?"
Yun Zhe was stunned, suddenly realizing he had been a bit foolish. Hadn't he just gotten himself into a trap?
"Man proposes, God disposes; it all depends on whether Serena has the luck," Yun Zhe replied vaguely. He did have some ideas, but they weren't very specific operational details. Moreover, there were still many things about the whole matter that he didn't understand, so Yun Zhe didn't want to speak too definitively at this time.
Blake took a deep breath. "This road is difficult."
Yun Zhe frowned; he already knew what Blake was going to say.
"Can we help her more?" Blake thought of seven or eight things before finally choosing this one.
Yun Zhe shrugged. "What would happen if I left here right now?"
Blake was taken aback. He couldn't guess how much truth was behind Yun Zhe's words, nor could he be sure what Yun Zhe was actually asking.
Philby heard Yun Zhe's last few words, but he didn't understand their meaning. However, seeing Blake standing next to Yun Zhe, he suddenly remembered how Blake had driven Yun Zhe away in the past. He angrily shouted, "Blake, what are you going to do, drive Yun Zhe away again?!"
Philby's voice was loud, immediately attracting everyone's attention. Newrent's head popped out of the doorway, and Serena jumped out of another room.
Blake's face flushed red, but he forced himself to regain his composure.
"Philby, you old bastard, did you even hear what I said? Again? What do you mean, 'again'?"
Philby felt a little guilty after he finished speaking. He quickly glanced at Blake and Yun Zhe, and then gently nudged Yun Zhe's back.
Yun Zhe smiled wryly, "Philby, you misheard me, Blake is..." Yun Zhe hesitated.
Anxious, Zade suddenly asked, "What is it? Oh well, it's not like I'm kicking you out, right?" He then stood next to Philby, staring seriously at Blake.
Yun Zhe glanced at Blake, who had noticed his hesitation. Blake understood that Yun Zhe clearly no longer wanted to stay. Did this mean that Yun Zhe didn't actually have high hopes for them? After all, nobody wants to stay on a wrecked ship.
Blake couldn't help but feel a little regretful; if only he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have done it in the first place.
“Blake invited me to leave with him to talk about something,” Yun Zhe said with a smile, rubbing his nose.
Philby looked at Yun Zhe with a puzzled expression; clearly, what he said differed somewhat from what he had heard. However, this statement did indeed relieve Serena and the others.
But Blake's expression was not relaxed.
“Yun Zhe, can we wait a bit and talk to Blake? Um, my son, Wood, really wants to see you, and Gao too. My butler is also missing him, and I'd like to see him as well,” Andrew suddenly interjected.
Everyone's expressions were quite interesting, especially Sind, who had just reached the door.
Blake was the first to react. His eyes lit up, and he nodded. "Of course, Yunzhe, you go ahead. I'm not in a hurry."
Yun Zhe smiled bitterly to himself; being able to discern what others were thinking was sometimes no easy task.
"Let me go back and call Gao first. He injured his arm, but it's nothing serious."
"No need, I'll ask Wood to come to your place. I happen to have some medicine for my injuries, which I can take with me."
Yun Zhe nodded, then glanced at Serena.
Serena pouted slightly. "Yun Zhe, after I finish writing the letter, could you take a look at it for me? I'll have Xi Xi deliver it. Xi Xi told me the other day that Usa might have magical talent, so I'll have her go and check it out."
Faced with Blake's obvious blatant attempt to ingratiate himself, he instead showed delight and nodded. "Is Usha really a magician? That's wonderful news! Call me later, I want to go and see her too."
Clearly, they were eager to join in the fun, and Zade and Philby also expressed their desire to go and see Usa's magical potential.
Yun Zhe understood that they were merely trying to use this opportunity to get closer to him, and Andrew was even considering poaching her. These were all utilitarian gestures of goodwill, while Serena's feelings were far more genuine than their words.
But Yun Zhe was still somewhat happy. Clearly, despite being a vampire, Yun Zhe wasn't immune to the common human trait. Being liked certainly made him feel good.
"Miss, how can you say that? What if Usa doesn't have magical attributes? Wouldn't that ruin my reputation?" After Serena closed the door, Xixi grumbled with great dissatisfaction.
"Shh!" Serena grabbed Xixi's shoulders with both hands, forcing Xixi to look at her.
"Xixi, it's okay. Didn't you say that even people without magical attributes would make the magic testing stone react? Just say that she has magic, but not enough."
