Upon hearing this, Leon's eyes lit up instantly; this was the best news he had heard in the past few days.

"Is the news accurate? Is this news reliable?" Leon walked anxiously to Abumili's side, rubbing his hands together as he asked.

“My lord, this is all news from yesterday. The cavalryman spoke with great certainty, without much excitement, just remarking that there was no longer a war to fight. I think we can believe him, and they have no reason to deceive us, do they?” Abumili jumped off his horse, ran a few steps to Leon’s side, and whispered.

Leon nodded, his panic finally subsiding. He let out a long sigh of relief, patted Abumili on the back with a smile, and said, "You've worked hard, you've worked hard. Come on, let's go to my tent. We'll have a good drink together tonight!"

Abumili grinned broadly; it was clear that the news he brought back had put Leon in a very good mood, and he was in for a treat tonight.

Leon glanced back at the other scout cavalrymen. "Tonight, each of you will have a jug of hot wine, and don't worry about meat, there'll be plenty!"

A cheer erupted from the soldiers. Every face beamed with happiness.

Just then, the rapid sound of hooves rang out, and a dozen or so cavalrymen rushed up to Leon. Verdun scrambled to Leon's side, shouting, "My lord, it's terrible! We've discovered Belvedere's camp!"
