Chapter 256 I want 80%

Yun Zhe leaped over the layers of encirclement and landed on the high platform. Gao Chaizeng was so frightened that he fell backward and tumbled off the platform. Yun Zhe pointed his sword at Gao Chaizeng and said with murderous intent, "You still dare to say that?"

Gao Chai got up from the ground. Perhaps because the fall had created more distance, he felt much safer and couldn't help but revert to his original arrogance. He snorted, "Aruru man, you still want to become emperor? You're delusional! You're bringing chaos to the Eastern Continent! You're courting death! You deserve to be killed by everyone!!! Alas... Ahhh..."

Before Yun Zhe could finish his parallel sentences, he jumped down, once again making a gesture as if he was about to kill him.

Seeing the situation was turning against him, Gao Chaizeng scrambled into the crowd. Although many of the people around him were thugs and mercenaries from both families, they lost their initiative because Yun Zhe was dealing with Gao Chaizeng, and some even started watching the spectacle. In his panic, Gao Chaizeng wandered around in circles and bumped into Yun Zhe again.

Yun Zhe grabbed Gao Chaizeng's wrist hard. Gao Chaizeng was initially very angry, but after seeing who had grabbed him, he was so frightened that he trembled as if he had been electrocuted.

Yun Zhe tripped him, then stomped on him, and brandished his sword at his neck. Gao Chaizeng, having lost all his scholarly composure, burst into tears.

Yun Zhe smiled with satisfaction, then sheathed his longsword and kicked the wailing Gao Chaizeng with his toe. "Hey, hey, stop crying. I won't kill you. But remember next time, don't use your dirty thoughts to speculate about others."

After hearing Yun Zhe's words, Gao Chaizeng continued to howl a few more times before falling silent. He got up from the ground, looking disheveled and extremely pale.

Yun Zhe dusted off his hands and smiled contemptuously at Gao Chaizeng. Then, he suddenly leaped onto the platform. "Gentlemen, I apologize for making a fool of myself earlier, but I really despise those who make wild guesses about people's intentions." Yun Zhe grinned, his face revealing an indescribable ferocity. "Now, I think we can talk about cooperation."

Emil looked with pity at Gao Chaizeng, who was sitting on the ground, completely devoid of his former dignity and looking utterly exhausted. Meanwhile, Omar, dressed in black, gave Yun Zhe a cold laugh.

“Sir, I didn’t realize you used such a clever method.” Omar didn’t even bother to look at Gao Chaizeng on the ground, but instead fixed his gaze on Yun Zhe.

"There are no tricks involved, it's just acting on impulse," Yun Zhe waved his hand. "Don't overthink things, and it's best not to make wild guesses about my thoughts!" Yun Zhe spoke the last few words slowly and deliberately, and his eyes gradually turned murderous.

Omar continued to sneer. He knew that everything Yun Zhe had just done was nothing more than a pressure tactic before negotiations. All the wild speculation about his intentions was just a convenient excuse to launch an attack. His show of force against Gao Chaizeng instead of them was simply a warning to others, an attempt to demoralize his own side.

But then Omar thought again: Yun Zhe is still giving us face. It seems that although he lost by a factor of 10 in terms of skill, he still wants to talk to us after all this effort.

"I'll fucking kill you!!!" A scream suddenly came from behind Yun Zhe. Gao Chai, his eyes blazing with rage and his body trembling, pulled out a short dagger from somewhere and staggered towards the platform. But he was tackled to the ground by two soldiers, pinned down.

"I'm going to kill you!! I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you, kill you..." Gao Chaizeng was pressed to the ground, struggling and shouting in pain until finally, he was sobbing uncontrollably, his voice trembling with sobs.

Yun Zhe's expression suddenly became playful. He looked at Gao Chaizeng on the ground, and then at the two young men on the stage.

"Gao, let me ask you something. Generally speaking, what is the punishment for assassinating a noble viscount in the street?"

Gao understood immediately and replied loudly, "Your Honor, it's a capital offense. Usually, it's hanging."

Yun Zhe nodded, then glanced at the two young men on the platform.

"And what about the accomplices?" Yun Zhe continued to ask.

"Your Honor, the punishment is usually whipping or hanging. Of course, it depends on your decision."

Emil was still stunned, feeling guilty and sympathetic towards Gao Chaizeng. Omar had already panicked. He suddenly knelt on one knee. "Sir, Gao Chaizeng's actions have nothing to do with us. It was entirely his own doing. We didn't invite him to this speech. He suddenly jumped onto the stage to say a few words. It seems that this was all his own premeditated plan, and has nothing to do with us. If you don't believe me, you can ask everyone here. They can testify for me."

Yun Zhe glanced at the dozens of people around him. Now, apart from one or two onlookers, there were only mercenaries and thugs on both sides.

Yun Zhe turned his back, no longer looking at the two, pondering how to end the situation. Suddenly, a voice came from below the stage.

"Hey, wait a minute, I just heard that Gao Chaizeng was the one giving the speech. Didn't you invite him up there?" a clueless young fool, who loved to stir up trouble, said.

Omar was startled, thinking to himself, "Who's this blind fool? Once this is over, I'll make sure he's sent to the dirtiest boxing gym and beaten to death in public." Amidst gasps of alarm, he watched as the young man who had spoken slowly collapsed to the ground. Soon, blood gushed from four wounds on his back and waist, quickly pooling on the floor.

Yun Zhe's pupils constricted sharply. He simply couldn't believe that someone could commit murder right in front of him. This was utterly lawless!

Omar couldn't immediately tell which side was responsible, but this foolish act clearly confirmed that his earlier statement was flawed. Even if Gao Chaizeng had no connection to it, given the circumstances, he would likely face charges of murder.

At this moment, even Emil, who had been out of sorts, realized the seriousness of the situation. He looked at Omar with concern, then made a subtle movement, holding up three fingers.

Omar understood immediately and shouted, "Sir, our underground auction house is willing to offer two to three percent of our profits as a token of our sincerity and desire to cooperate!"

Yun Zhe turned around, genuinely shocked this time. "Is this the time to discuss profit sharing? Do you think that as long as the profit sharing is large enough, I can turn a blind eye to your actions and condone your public gatherings to coerce nobles and kill people in the street to eliminate dissidents?" Yun Zhe naturally wouldn't voice these thoughts, but he could see through the other party's intentions perfectly.

Seeing that Yun Zhe didn't reply and that Yun Zhe's expression remained unpredictable, Omar could only pray in his heart, "As long as it doesn't exceed 40%, as long as it doesn't exceed 40%."

Then he saw Yun Zhe smile slightly and hold up two fingers.

"Eighty percent, I want eighty percent. Agree now, or else!" Yun Zhe suddenly drew his longsword. "Otherwise, you'll be accomplices! I'll kill you all right now!"

Omar felt a chill run down his spine; he knew that the situation he least wanted to see had occurred.
