Diadinis, with a 1-3-8 advantage

Tordron stepped out of the tent and saw Diadinis, clad in exquisite armor, riding his distinctive black steed back and forth in the open space, joking with the other knights. His brand-new and vibrant red cloak was particularly eye-catching. Surrounding him were also noble sons in fine armor, mostly from the capital, children of prominent figures.

"What are you looking at?" A clear, melodious female voice rang out behind Tordron.

Tordron's face flushed red. He turned his head stiffly and saw a head of red hair and emerald green eyes.

This is quite unusual and eye-catching among elves.

"Osdina, why...why don't you go over there..." Tordron's face turned even redder, especially after he finished speaking haltingly.

The red-haired girl, leading a tall, mottled horse, glared at Tordron with a hint of exasperation upon seeing his appearance. "Those people are too noisy." She raised her chin and pointed to Diadinis and his group not far away.

"You... why are you going on a campaign as a military mage?" Tordron said with displeasure, as if he had just realized what was going on.

"I'm a mage accompanying the army, so there shouldn't be any problem with me charging into battle with them," the red-haired girl asked, her tone tinged with impatience.

Tordron felt a surge of tension. He chuckled dryly, "The enemy has lost their fighting spirit and has hardly any soldiers left. Let's set off now; it's a perfect opportunity to achieve a great victory."

The red-haired girl nodded slightly in disappointment. "I'll go prepare. As a mage accompanying the army, I don't want anything to go wrong."

Tordron was somewhat disappointed. He knew he had misspoke, but couldn't think of a better way to put it. This was indeed much harder than defeating the enemy on the battlefield. While he was still lost in thought, Osdina had already left. The rallying horn sounded, and Osdina and five other female mages had already gathered together, chatting and laughing. Meanwhile, on Diadinis's side, a force of about three hundred men had assembled.

Tordron was somewhat horrified. He was surprised by the number of cavalrymen tonight, and even more surprised by the number of mages accompanying the army.

Joyful cheers occasionally erupted from the crowd, everyone seemed confident of victory. Facing the fleeing human army, they had gathered more cavalry than their opponents, and even nearly a third of their accompanying mages.

"Soldiers! Today is the day to make our mark!" Diadinis drew his saber, shouting and waving it excitedly.

"Today is the day to make a name for ourselves!" The other soldiers drew their sabers and cheered in unison. The sabers gleamed and stood out conspicuously in the twilight.

"Let's go!" Diadinis noticed Tordron watching from the side. He smiled elegantly and then said, "Ladies mages, please stay close to me. It's getting dark, and it's easy to get lost if you're at the back of the group!"

The girls laughed and giggled, half-heartedly following along. Osdina glanced at the nervous-looking Tordron, pulled on the reins, and followed as well.

More than three hundred cavalrymen roared out of their tents, their victory within easy reach at the nearby human camp. In their minds, this was not a battle, but a drill, an autumn hunt, a leisurely outing.

All the wealthy young men and most of the privileged children in the army participated in this operation. They replaced the vast majority of the original troops, and some even formed their own teams to join this force, which made the force appear unusually bloated and disorganized.

The accompanying mages were a safeguard for His Highness. Although no one was worried about any problems during tonight's operation, in order to protect these precious children from harm, Tandras reluctantly mobilized some excellent mages to ensure the success of the operation, or rather, the success of those people.

Tordron, however, didn't think so much. He felt both sweet and apprehensive. Sweet because of the look Osdina gave him as she left, and apprehensive because they were so close to Diadinis.

"The Stewart family..." Toldron muttered to himself, increasingly unable to bear thinking about it any longer.

Tandras, however, had no time to concern himself with these trivial matters outside the tent. He had already finished writing two secret letters, one to his teacher and the other to his sister in another unit.

He didn't want his father to know about this yet; he vaguely felt there was a huge conspiracy behind it. However, he wasn't good at strategy, so he could only ask his teacher and sister to help him analyze it first.

He heard the commotion outside the tent and frowned slightly. Although humanity was already vulnerable, wasn't it too early to celebrate?

Tandras rubbed his temples, silently praying to the forest spirit, hoping that he was just overthinking things.

Yun Zhe pointed to a narrow, downhill slope and said to Arthas beside him, "This is the best place, and what we need to do now is lure the elves here."

Arthas nodded, curious as to how Yun Zhe had discovered this terrain. He had also searched the surrounding area for a long time, but had not found such an excellent ambush formation.

"But how do we lure the elven forces?" Arthas asked with concern.

Yun Zhe pursed his lips, "Serena."

Arthas was horrified. "What...what are you going to do?!" Arthas's gray hair trembled, and his whole body began to shake.

Yun Zhe sighed, "I didn't say it was her, but the elves need to know where she is."

Arthas breathed a sigh of relief, but then... "Are you talking about that carriage?"
