Fifty-eighths century-long plan: education as the foundation

Today was a rare treat for the children of the homeless in Perth. Although they were locked in their bars again early this morning, at least they wouldn't have to see the long-eared villain who tricked them into learning to write and do math every day. Excited, they unleashed their destructive energy to the fullest. They urinated in the mud, argued and fought, chased each other, and competed to see who could get their heads stuck in the bars. They released all their energy, venting the emotions that had been suppressed for the past few days. Soon, the bars were filled with cries and shouts, even louder than the protests the homeless had staged a few days earlier.

The guards watching the children had never seen anything like it before, and hurriedly told Andrew, asking one of them to take control of the situation.

Nuremberg, Alsace, and Lorraine went inside the fence one after another to try to control the situation, but the children, seeing unfamiliar faces—some strong and powerful, others serious—not only continued to make noise but also started to cry.

The three were defeated one after another, and all slunk back. The noise continued, even waking Serena and Xixi from the loud commotion. They initially thought the refugees were causing trouble again, but looking out the window, they saw that it was just the children inside the fence displaying their prowess, and they couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. The children's crying not only disturbed their sleep, but also made the refugees who were working lose their will to work upon hearing their own children's cries.

Andrew arrived at Serena's room looking rather disheveled. Upon seeing Xixi, his eyes lit up, and he cut to the chase, "Miss, why don't we let Ms. Xixi give it a try?"

"I'm not going. I hate kids." Xixi said with a look of resistance.

Andrew and Serena both looked embarrassed upon hearing this.

"XiXi," Serena's eyes darted around, and she suddenly hugged XiXi, pressing her cheek against XiXi's and smiling sweetly, "XiXi, I know you don't like these kids, but for my sake, you really won't go? Really not? Okay then, I'll have Andrew go find Ellie and let her have a headache. Okay?"

The moment Xixi was hugged, her face flushed, but upon hearing the last few words, she frowned. "I hate Serena, why call her? She's just pretty, she's never had a child before... Ugh, I'll go then. How annoying." With that, she broke free from Serena's embrace.

"Let me make this clear beforehand, you're the ones who asked me for this, I might not be able to succeed, so don't blame me if you do." With that, she blushed and ran off in a flash.

Andrew was stunned by Serena's coquettish behavior. He truly didn't understand how Serena's actions had suddenly changed Xixi. He suddenly thought of the many romantic escapades among the noble ladies that were circulating in the palace, and combining that with what he was seeing, he suddenly realized what was going on.

Serena blushed when she saw the shocked look in Andrew's eyes. "XiXi doesn't like girls with too much of a figure..."

"She actually offered an explanation, though it seemed like she didn't really explain anything..." Andrew politely bowed and hurriedly fled the scene.

Sunlight streamed into Yun Zhe's room. On the large bed with sky-blue sheets, Ellie, completely naked, groggily opened her eyes. After a moment's thought, realizing what the sunlight meant, she jumped up and began to dress.

"Oh no, oh no," she muttered to herself as she searched for her clothes. She'd had too much fun last night and had clearly overslept. The thought of Alice waking up and not being able to find her, only to discover she'd walked out of a man's room, made her click her tongue in fear.

She quickly dressed, naturally wearing the familiar leather armor. She glanced back at Yun Zhe, who was still sleeping soundly on the bed, and resisted the urge to be intimate with him again. Then, as she tiptoed to open the door, she saw Andrew raising his hand as if to knock.

Both of them felt a little dizzy for a moment.

But Andrew was older and more experienced, especially on such a special day. He was the first to react and stepped aside.

Ellie's face was flushed crimson, as if it were about to bleed. She bowed her head hastily, then ran towards Alice's room without looking back. She was filled with shame and could only hope that Alice had slept in that day as well.

Andrew watched Ellie's retreating figure and shook his head. He didn't think it was a bad thing that Ellie had a male companion, even if the man was an Aruru. On the other hand, it at least proved that she and his daughter were innocent. Thinking of this, Andrew thought of Serena and Xixi and shook his head again. Then, turning around, he saw Yun Zhe sprawled on the bed in a very ungraceful sleeping posture in the messy room.

He thought for a moment, closed the door, and pretended not to see anything as he began to knock.

Yun Zhe was awakened by the knocking on the door. He turned around and saw that Ellie had left sometime earlier. He reached out and touched her; she still seemed to be warm. He couldn't help but grin.

Then he put on the clothes he had worn the night before, and as soon as he opened the door, he saw Andrew's inquisitive eyes.

Yun Zhe was startled, then suddenly remembered that he seemed to have forgotten to wrap his bandages.

But it was too late.

Fortunately, Andrew didn't realize this minor discord. What he was really thinking was, "When did these two get together?"

"Oh no, he found out when Ellie left." Yun Zhe felt a little embarrassed at this thought. Although it wasn't shameful, it still felt a bit awkward for someone to find out in this way.

"Um, what's up?" Yun Zhe scratched his head and asked a little embarrassedly.
