However, the soldiers chose to believe first and then question. They listened with a "let's give it a try" attitude as Yun Zhe spoke eloquently, recounting classic battles from the Eastern Continent—battles that were actually Yun Zhe's past lives.

After speaking for about an hour, seeing the benevolent and trusting expressions on everyone's faces, Yun Zhe couldn't help but smile bitterly. He ordered all the soldiers to stand up and then began to line up in neat formations.

This was a simple requirement; at the command of both team captains, the ranks were quickly formed.

Yun Zhe glanced at them and realized they weren't even as well-formed as when he was in military training. He didn't reprimand them, but instead asked the two captains to check each other's formation.

Sure enough, I always have a critical eye for others.

Both Gao and Caroline subtly expressed their opinions about the other's troop formations. While outwardly amicable, they were actually harboring thoughts of conflict.

Yun Zhe smiled, told the two to straighten their lines, and then looked at each other.

After some careful tidying, the two of them had made the line much neater. Finally, neither could find anything wrong with the other's line.

They just didn't understand that this wasn't the end, but only the beginning.

"Alright, how do you all feel about your array arrangement now?" Yun Zhe looked at everyone.

The soldiers looked at each other and all thought their formation was excellent, practically perfect.

Yun Zhe pointed to a campfire behind them, where a group of refugees were warming themselves and eating.

"Turn around and run one hundred steps in that direction, then stop. But once you stop, you're not allowed to move. I'm very strict; if anyone moves after stopping, they'll have to do one hundred push-ups."

The soldiers and the two captains all gasped. It wasn't that they couldn't do it, but the punishment seemed disproportionate to the mistake.

"Now, about-face, march!"

As the queue turned around, it became somewhat scattered. By the time they stopped after running a hundred steps, both queues had completely disintegrated, and the original order had vanished.

The two captains looked at each other, then at their own teams, each harboring the same thought of the pot calling the kettle black.

Yun Zhe closed his eyes in anguish. "This is so much worse than what happened to us back then..."
