Fifty-one Western Continent Thirty Years

Hart let his horse roam freely around the camp, while the soldiers swarmed into tent after tent to inspect it.

Boom! A huge explosion rang out, followed by bursts of intense flames from several tents in the camp. In an instant, the camp was engulfed in flames.

"Fire!!" Upon seeing this, Lorain quickly ordered his soldiers to cut down trees around the camp to create a firebreak.

Upstairs, Ars slammed his fist against the city wall, snatched the scroll from a soldier's hand, and furiously wrote on it, "Quickly, go after them in the woods! Hurry, they're getting away!!!"

Upon seeing the scroll from afar, Lorain waved his hand sharply and led several hundred men into the woods on the right.

They didn't extinguish the fire until nightfall. Lorain led his troops out of the woods. They found nothing but casualties from the fire and the explosion.

Ars's eyes were bloodshot as he looked from the tower. Although he had been mentally prepared, he still couldn't accept the fact at this moment.

Even now, he has been completely fooled.

Anger consumed his reason; ignoring all advice, he donned his armor, mounted his horse, and began his pursuit, oblivious to the darkness of night.

There are only a few roads leading to Jialai, and he didn't believe he couldn't catch even one of those scheming villains.

On the border, the formidable Ars family cavalry clashed with Andrew's well-prepared troops.

Ars, his eyes red, stepped forward. His cavalry, exhausted from continuous nights of pursuit, stood in stark contrast to Andrew's forces opposite him. But he believed that with a flick of his whip, he could overcome any obstacle before him.

Andrew looked at his opponent coldly. They had fought side by side before, but that was in the past. Now, and for a long time to come, they would be rivals.

The wind howled that day. Andrew and Ars stood a hundred meters apart, gazing at each other. They couldn't see each other's eyes clearly, but they could sense each other's feelings. Ars was the first to turn his horse around and lead his cavalry away from the border. Andrew watched his former comrade-in-arms until they completely disappeared from his sight.

Thus, the first siege of Donic came to an end.

Later historians often regard the end of the First Siege of Donic as the opening of the glorious thirty-year epic of the Western Continent.

Today's standoff is the first between Ars and Andrew in the "Thirty Years of the Western Lands," and the only one that did not escalate into war.
