"Let me ask first. If it's just cavalry breaking out, that's fine. But if not..." Yun Zhe scratched his head.
"Why don't we run now? We'll have a better chance of escaping when they're not paying attention," Gao suggested.
“They have cavalry. Two hundred of us are no match for them. We absolutely cannot run away like this, or we will be wiped out. Don’t panic, and don’t tell the brothers too much. Let me finish my questioning before we make any plans.”
Yun Zhe's last few words were stern, and Gao knew the gravity of the situation. Acting rashly now would only hasten his own demise. He nodded, deciding to trust that Yun Zhe had a better way to ensure their safe escape.

Yun Zhe certainly had reason to be angry, because the ambush he had planned had completely failed.
Andrew's main force didn't arrive in Skano until the seventh day!
Yun Zhe angrily demanded an explanation, only to be told that the rain had caused the delay...

Yun Zhe knew that he could no longer count on that unit.
Worse still, he knew without even calculating that he had at most two days left.
