It was the Elf Prince's turn to have a headache.

Looking at the shooting star falling from the sky, Yun Zhe couldn't help but sigh, "It really is a huge fireball."

Then he thought about the scrolls labeled "Big Ice Hockey," "Big Thunderball," and "Big Blizzard." Yun Zhe couldn't help but shudder, suddenly realizing that he and the predecessor of this body seemed to have a lot to discuss.

Everyone saw the meteor falling from the sky. Humans and elves alike were stunned by the strange and terrifying sight. Many human soldiers, unaware that it was Yun Zhe's giant fireball, knelt on the ground, thanking the heavens for this fatal blow. They even forgot that they too could be struck by the meteor while they were there.

Diadinis shoved aside the elf blocking his path—it was the young girl who had just been hit by a jar and was covered in oil. As she stood there bewildered, she felt a powerful force surge from behind, and then she fell to the ground.

Then came the trampling of horses' hooves and the burning of rockets. The girl struggled to sit up halfway amidst the hooves, then was ignited by the flames beside her. She frantically tried to extinguish the flames, but all to no avail. The elf struggled and screamed, but no one paid her any attention, no one came to her aid. Then her legs were broken by the horse, and flames began to gnaw at her skin. Her screams grew increasingly shrill and desperate. But still, not a single soldier responded. Soon, the girl fell silent. She stopped screaming, stopped struggling, and like dozens of her comrades lying on the ground, she gave up her life.

Because of her age and overly flattering manner, Osdina was quickly expelled from Diadinis's group, which gave her ample time to react. At least after Yun Zhe used the scroll, she rode her horse and galloped towards the scene of the incident. She saw the raging flames in the distance, and the elves burning as they ran.

Even more awe-inspiring was the meteor that fell from the sky; even from such a distance, Osdina could feel the intense heat emanating from it. The meteor was engulfed in red flames, trailing a long tail, and hurtled straight towards the elves, about to crash into the ground.

Osdina was terrified by the horrific sight before her.

But she still recited the incantation in a trembling voice.

Vines burst from the ground, slithering across the land towards the soldiers trapped by the fire. As they approached the flames, they coalesced into a thick, powerful vine, which slammed down onto the ground, extinguishing the fire and creating an escape route.

The surrounded elves were stunned by this bizarre scene.

Diadinis had already rushed to the front. In despair, he saw the thick vines crash down and then disperse, and he couldn't help but get excited. Then, without saying a word, he charged forward.

The other soldiers also realized what was happening and desperately pushed their way up.

Osdina fell from her horse, but she struggled to her feet and continued chanting the spell. New vines appeared again, but this time, instead of coalescing into thick tendrils, they wove together like a net, abruptly blocking the passage that had just been smashed open.

Osdina's idea was simple: she would use the net to block the people's heads and stop the falling meteors. Because running was no longer an option.

However, this spell, which required at least three female mages, was too exhausting for her to cast alone. Halfway through the spell, she lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.

The enormous vine net stopped just above Diadinis's head.

Before Diadinis could even utter a curse, the enormous meteor had already struck them on the head.

The strong wind instantly blew the surrounding elven cavalrymen off balance or made them lie prostrate on the ground, and then the meteor exploded violently instead of hitting the ground.

It exploded like fireworks.

Countless flames surged outwards, and a massive shockwave violently propelled the elven cavalry into the air. The flames ignited everything flammable around them, and the immense heat instantly transformed the surrounding area into a living hell.

Yun Zhe stared in disbelief at the scene before him. He and Zade had reached a relatively safe spot and were witnessing this breathtaking spectacle. The strong winds and massive shockwaves had left them quite disheveled. But Zade excitedly and suddenly hugged Yun Zhe tightly.

"Revenge! Revenge, Yun Zhe!" He didn't care about the carriage and horses that had been blown over by the wind. He clenched his fist excitedly, as if he had come back to life.

"This scroll is so powerful, you...you're trying to surprise us, aren't you? Oh, Yun Zhe, you're so cunning, you've fooled us all."

Yun Zhe smiled wryly. This wasn't cunning; it was simply that he didn't fully understand the meaning of the words "giant fireball."

"It's good that you won, it's good that you won."

"It's a pity we don't even have an army left. If we did, we would definitely keep all these elves here!"

Yun Zhe hurriedly interrupted Zha De, "Retreat, retreat, retreat! With such a commotion, the elves will definitely come after us. We have to run!"

Zade rubbed his hands, gazing longingly at the raging fire that seemed to illuminate the entire night sky. The wind fanned the flames, and the fire began to spread to even more distant places.

Although he couldn't hear the elves' groans, Zad had.

"Let's go! Let's go!" Zad was still trembling with excitement. It felt so good! This revenge was so timely and necessary.

Looking at the sea of fire, Yun Zhe felt happy, but he couldn't feel as happy as Zade.

The Elf Prince was completely stunned by the sight before him.

The elves didn't suffer many casualties this time, with just over three hundred dead or wounded. A small number of them managed to escape.

But those who died were the very people who absolutely could not afford to die.

Tandras trembled all over; he could already imagine what those people in the palace were saying right now. The illegitimate sons, second sons, and even the eldest sons of these powerful and wealthy merchants had all been killed in this fire.

It was that kind of indistinguishable manner of death. Those powerful and wealthy couldn't even find a single complete, correct body...

"Your Highness, Your Highness, good news..." A soldier jumped off his horse, swallowing hard. This news must be good news...

"What good news?!" Even Tandras himself couldn't believe there could be good news at this point...

The soldier looked back at the scorched earth. "We found a living person... Lord Diadinis. But... but..."

Tandras's initial relief slowly sank as the soldier stammered. "Speak quickly!"

"But, sir, he seems to be falling apart, we...we dare not touch him..."
