Chapter 75 Even a Glass Mirror Can Move You
Lin Shutang suddenly shivered.
The commotion quickly attracted the attention of the fellow disciples who had just left. Shen Yun's men blocked them at the outer perimeter, preventing them from getting through.
Lin Shutang glanced around, then looked at Song Ying lying on the ground, panting and clutching her wound, and knew that she couldn't wait any longer.
She can't be of any help by staying here; Shen Yun has plenty of time to waste on her.
She looked at Shen Yun with red eyes, filled with resentment and bitterness. She broke free from Shen Yun's hand and turned to walk into the city on her own.
Shen Yun threw down his sword, a hint of annoyance flashing across his face. He glanced at the man on the ground, barely clinging to life, his eyes bloodshot.
If you want to die, why not just kill yourself by crashing your head into a wall in prison?
-
Lin Shutang hadn't taken more than a few steps when Shen Yun, who had caught up from behind, scooped him up in her arms and nimbly slipped into the carriage.
She struggled to get out of his arms, but the large hand around her waist was extremely strong, pressing her down onto his lap.
"Don't move." Shen Yun's cold voice came from above, and he sounded very upset.
Lin Shutang, however, refused to give in and continued to wriggle in his arms.
He pulled out a box with one hand, took out a medicine bottle, grabbed her wrist without saying a word, and sprinkled the powder on it.
Lin Shutang winced in pain, tears streaming down her face, and shouted, "I don't need your help!"
"You don't want me to handle this?"
These words were like a fuse being lit. Shen Yun threw down the bottle, raised his hand to grab her chin, and said with a sinister expression, "Then who do you want? Song Ying?"
"What? You hate me for breaking you two up?"
As he spoke, the hostility in his eyes intensified.
Although he was far away, he could see it clearly.
They cried their hearts out in front of him, and even dared to hug and cuddle.
Countless moments he wanted to rush forward and chop off those eyesores holding her hands, but he held back. He was so foolish as to dare to use a self-inflicted injury as a pretext to coerce her.
It was just a matter of losing one of his arms, yet she yelled at him like that.
He's just an outsider; who exactly is her husband?
Shen Yun leaned closer to look at her, trying his best to see even the slightest bit of tenderness and dependence in her eyes, but all he saw was resentment filled with fear.
Sometimes he really wanted to cut open her chest and see if she had a heart.
She was loyal and devoted to everyone, but she wouldn't spare a glance for him.
It seems that no matter how much he does, he is someone who is dispensable to her.
"Shutang, do you think that just because he's gone, I can't do anything to you?"
His voice suddenly softened, becoming soft and chilling.
Those eyes shifted slightly, as if in thought, "Where is A-Yan?"
He asked, "Can you also treat him as someone you can do without?"
Lin Shutang's eyes widened suddenly, horror spreading from the top of his head down, and his whole body went numb.
He seemed quite satisfied with Lin Shutang's reaction, his eyes lighting up as he chuckled softly, "Do you think I would lay a hand on him?"
He then used his fingertips to wipe away her tears, saying, "Ayan is my child too."
Even though he said that, Lin Shutang was still trembling.
She had no doubt that if she resisted in the slightest, Shen Yun would also harm the child. After all, he was a madman, and hadn't Shen Yun's hands been stained with enough blood?
If one person makes a mistake in forging crossbows, he could mercilessly wipe out the entire Lin family.
How can you expect someone who kills without batting an eye to have any humanity?
A chill ran through her, and she bit his tiger's mouth hard with her lips. Blood flowed down her lips, and her eyes were red and swollen from crying, tears still dripping down her face. She stared at Shen Yun with a stubborn yet pitiful look.
Shen Yun let her bite him without even frowning.
She found it utterly boring and spat out the blood in her mouth with disgust. "Of course, of course I hate you for separating me and my senior brother. Shen Yun, so what if you have immense power? Even if you confine me to the Duke's mansion, even if my senior brother becomes a cripple, I will still think of him!"
“I will stay by your side, but you can’t control what I think. That child…” She chuckled softly when she mentioned Shen Yan, tears streaming down her face, but her expression remained cold. “You forced me to give birth to him. What happens to him has nothing to do with me.”
Her words were piercing, clearly intended to make Shen Yun unhappy.
As expected, his indifferent brows turned frosty, his face darkened, and his sharp features, like ice sculptures, were shrouded in an inescapable gloom.
The enclosed space was filled with a chilling aura that sent shivers down one's spine. It felt as if one's mouth and nose were sealed off, making one want to run away as fast as possible.
Outside the car, a muffled clap of thunder sounded, and a flash of lightning shone through the car window, illuminating half of Shen Yun's cold and indifferent face before vanishing in an instant, like a demon.
Lin Shutang took a step back, and with a surge of strength from who knows where, he tried to rush out the door.
Taking advantage of the situation, Shen Yun easily lifted her up by slipping his hand under her knees and carried her out of the carriage.
The carriage was already parked outside the Duke's mansion. He walked through the long corridors and waterside pavilions, and all the servants who passed by consciously avoided him.
Lin Shutang tried to jump off him several times, but the large hands around her waist pressed her down even tighter, as if her entire waist was about to break.
After entering Jingyuan Residence, her anxiety intensified, and her struggles became more and more intense.
Shen Yun's patience had completely run out. He strode into the bedroom and pressed Lin Shutang down onto the dressing table.
He pressed down on her back, holding her tightly in his small space. When Lin Shutang looked up, she saw the glass mirror on the dressing table.
The gleaming mirror clearly reflected Lin Shutang's panicked and flustered expression.
Above, Shen Yun's face was smiling with interest, but her eyes were so dark that they were unfathomable.
“You lie every time.” He lifted her skirt with his hand. “You get aroused when I do this to you.”
...
Lin Shutang's arm, which was supporting her on the dressing table, suddenly went limp, and the burning hot body behind her pressed even closer.
"You will accept me and cling to me." He moved closer to her temple, his hand lifting her chin and forcing her to open her hazy eyes to see her reflection in the mirror.
“Like right now,” he said, seemingly in a very good mood. “You’re comfortable too, aren’t you?”
...He kissed her burning earlobe, his brows furrowing slightly as he asked in confusion, "Shouldn't you be thinking of me?"
Lin Shutang, her eyes red from crying, tried to sit up. "Chen Jun...you're crazy, uh...let me go!"
...Unable to struggle, she could only bite her lower lip tightly.
Shen Yun pried open her lips and teeth with his fingertips, pressed her tongue inside and stirred it, and pinched her chin with his thumb and forcibly made her look up at herself in the mirror.
Lin Shutang's hair was slightly disheveled, her eyes were misty, and her face was flushed. As Shen Yun stirred her, saliva dripped freely from the corners of her mouth, and a lewd and decadent atmosphere rose in the air.
"Ah Tang, look what we're doing!"
He shifted his gaze from the mirror to her real face, lowered his head to lick away her tears, and softly asked, "Tell me, who are you thinking of?"
When he didn't get a reply from her, a flash of anger crossed his eyes, and Lin Shutang let out a muffled groan.
She reached out to grab him, "...You can't...uh, you can't do this to me!"
"I...I'm pregnant...uh..."
Shen Yun's knuckles were still in her mouth, and because of his force, her speech was further mumbled and intermittent.
She thought her words would intimidate Shen Jun and make him stop, but instead he pressed his back against hers, holding her even tighter, a sneer flashing across his dark eyes. "Oh?"
He uttered a soft sound of doubt.
His high, straight nose hovered near her ear, like a wolf sniffing out its scent, ready to pounce at any moment—dangerous and utterly deceptive.
"Ah Tang, I've told you before, I really dislike it when you lie." He breathed softly, as if confirming with her, and said in a gentle voice, "So, are you really pregnant, Ah Tang?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Shutang's body trembled violently.
The mirror reflected Shen Yun's slightly raised eyelids, his deep, pool-like eyes slowly gathering a faint chill as he slowly swept his gaze across her face, uttering words that sent chills down her spine: "Ever since you gave birth to Shen Yan, I have been taking medicine."
He didn't miss Lin Shutang's suddenly constricted pupils. His hand, which was supporting her in front of her, moved down and touched her lower abdomen through the thin clothes. "Shutang, do you want to tell me whose child is in your belly?"
He pressed her skin against his chest, pressing down heavily, as if he could still feel some shape in her.
Lin Shutang's tears flowed freely under the combined pressure of physical and psychological stress. He let out a sob, and his sharp teeth dug deep into his knuckles, drawing blood.
Shen Yun, however, relaxed her brows and let out a satisfied sigh.
He gently yet forcefully pressed her onto the dressing table. His hand reached across her chest, turning her cheek and kissing her tenderly, finally settling on her lips.
He withdrew his fingers, which were stuffed full of ink, and before Lin Shutang could even catch her breath, his lips sealed hers again.
He pried open her teeth and barged in, his tongue entwining with hers, each time pushing deeper and deeper.
When Lin Shutang tried to dodge, he rudely stirred things around inside, showing no skill whatsoever. Before they knew it, their mouths had bumped and bruised in several places, oozing blood.
"Tell me, Tang, whose child is it?" He gave her a chance to catch her breath before asking again.
The tip of his tongue swept along her jawline, and she tensed up into a beautiful arc.
“…No, uh…I’m not pregnant…” she cried out, her words broken and intermittent, each utterance deliberately sabotaged by him.
She was so aggrieved that her voice became hoarse.
"What method did you use?" He bit her soft neck as punishment.
He's quite capable; he locked her in Jingyuan Residence and even managed to force him to release her.
—Just to see that wretched dog!
"Osmanthus flowers... and, uh... Cornus officinalis are incompatible; when cooked together in a soup... they can disrupt the spleen and stomach's qi mechanism, causing menstruation to suddenly stop..."
"...Then there were signs of the baby starting to move—ah...!"
A large tear suddenly fell from the corner of Lin Shutang's eye, and she almost lost her balance.
Shen Yun coldly swept her gaze over the jade vase on the windowsill, suppressing the bitterness and anger in her chest. That's why she had started planning so early in order to see him.
No wonder she was so well-behaved during that time, and even had the time to tend to the flowers and plants; it turns out she had been plotting something all along.
Shen Yun was determined to make her suffer. Ignoring Lin Shutang's hoarse voice from crying, he pried open her lips and pressed down hard on hers.
The smacking sound was clear and distinct, making people blush.
