He Yue sighed inwardly. These Thirteen Beauties were not bad. Apart from Shi Jia Shi being slightly inferior, the other two were quite good.
"I was unable to pay my respects to the Princess Consort a few days ago, please forgive me." Shi Jia followed Fucha's lead, while Guarjia ignored her, so Fucha spoke first with a smile.
Guarjia curled her lip in disdain, looked at Heyue, and said with a half-smile, "This is not their fault. The Fujin should know the reason."
Ha! They really never stop for a moment!
He Yue immediately raised an eyebrow and looked back at her: "What's the reason? I'd like to hear it."
Guarjia's face stiffened. She had originally planned to turn the tables and make things difficult for her, which would surely make the other party lose face. However, she turned the tables and asked the question back.
This was ordered by the master; if she were to say it, wouldn't that be criticizing the master? How could she possibly bring herself to say it?
He secretly resented it, but forced a smile and said, "It's nothing."
Heyue, however, had no intention of letting it go, and sneered: "Sister Guarjia, you should be responsible for your words. What do I know? I just married into this family and have only just met a few of my sisters. I'm not familiar with the situation in the mansion yet. If you want me to explain things clearly, Sister Guarjia should know better than I do!"
Guarjia's face turned pale and then red. She hadn't expected her to keep pressing the issue, not only failing to embarrass her but also leaving her speechless.
I knew this person was difficult to deal with, but I still couldn't swallow this insult.
Taking a deep breath, she could only lower her head and admit her mistake: "It was my fault, please forgive me, elder sister."
"I just hope that what you say is what you really think, and that you truly treat me as your older sister. I hate those two-faced people who act like sisters on the surface but use underhanded tactics behind my back!" He Yue retorted without hesitation.
Lady Fucha covered her mouth, almost bursting out laughing, and turned her head away.
Shi Jia dared not laugh, her head bowed even lower, her shoulders trembling.
Guarjia's face turned ashen, but she couldn't lash out.
Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Lady Fucha quickly stepped forward to serve tea, smiling warmly: "Please calm down, Your Highness."
He Yue's expression softened slightly. She smiled, accepted the tea, and took a sip. "We're all sisters, so it's best to get along well, don't you think?"
Lady Fucha smiled obsequiously and repeatedly agreed, saying, "You're right, Madam."
Guarjia glared at her fiercely, but Fucha ignored her.
Shi Jia followed closely behind and served tea.
Guarjia, though dissatisfied, dared not say anything more and silently served tea to Heyue.
