Chapter 221 Crying Heartbrokenly

"It's just the truth, why should I feel guilty? Do you dare admit you're not afraid?"

"You! I'm just worried that you'll be led astray by her, and then it'll be Eighth Prince who suffers." Ninth Prince said angrily, his eyes darting around.

"I'll take it as a joke." Guo Luoluo glanced at him sideways, her gaze towards Heyue full of doting affection: "She's the cutest of all. Only a guilty man would be afraid of her."

"Who are you calling guilty!" The Ninth Prince raised his voice in disbelief, then wanted to ask, "What's so lovable about that kind of person? Is she blind?" But when he noticed her gaze, he trembled violently, his expression turning strange.

"Whoever answered is the one with a guilty conscience." Guo Luoluo's smile vanished, and she returned to her usual arrogant demeanor, calmly uttering a remark that was sure to infuriate anyone.

The Ninth Prince was so angry he almost fell over, but he quickly regained his composure. He glanced at the furious man over there, then frowned at Lady Guoluo and said, "I'm telling you, you're being too concerned about her. She's not your daughter!"

"Smack!" She raised her hand and gave him a sharp rap on the forehead. Guo Luoluo glared at him angrily: "What are you saying!"

The Ninth Prince covered his head, his face darkening: "Could you please stop hitting me on the head? I'm a prince, after all. How can you be such a woman?!"

Guo Luoluo ignored his anger, retreated back into the carriage, and signaled the driver to drive.

The Ninth Prince, his face dark and his breath held, kicked the carriage wall hard.

"By the way, when did you learn how to do business?"

“I’ve always done it, so what’s so surprising about it?”

The Ninth Prince gritted his teeth in resentment: "You think you can trick your cousin like this?! You're something else!"

Ultimately, being no match for her opponent's strength, He Yue failed to pull the whip back. Instead, Yi Duli snatched the whip from her and held her captive in his arms, listening to his angry rebuke: "Who taught you to treat men like this!"

"Are you even a man?! And how dare you treat me like this? Let me go!" He Yue scolded.

Yi Duli frowned. After all, He Yue was no longer the mischievous little girl she used to be; she was now the Thirteenth Prince's wife, and such behavior was indeed inappropriate.

Before he could let go, the sound of horses' hooves rang out rapidly, the crowd made a chaotic move to make way, and then a gust of whip wind struck again. Itori instinctively let go to avoid it.

Looking again, Heyue had disappeared from sight. Yidu rushed to look for her, only to find that the Thirteenth Prince had carried Heyue onto the horse and placed her in front of him.

"Are you alright?" The Thirteenth Prince looked down anxiously to check on Heyue. Only when he saw that she was alright did he feel relieved. He then looked up and angrily rebuked Yiduli: "How dare you!"

"Greetings, Your Excellency!" Yi Duli bowed, but kept his head down and pursed his lips, offering no explanation.

Since they were on the street, it was inconvenient to reveal the other person's identity, so he simply called out "Sir".

Knowing she couldn't beat Yiduli, and that today's commotion had been too big, Heyue worried that staying too long would lead to her being recognized. She coldly looked down at Yiduli and said, "I'll let you go today. Remember, my sister doesn't owe you anything. You have no right to treat her like this. If you have any conscience, go apologize to my sister. If you think your behavior is right, I don't mind demanding an explanation from your uncle and aunt!"

After saying that, she tugged at Thirteen's hand: "Let's go back!"

Thirteen glared fiercely at the top of Yiduli's head, then turned his horse around and returned to the mansion.

Back at the manor, Yan Yue was pacing anxiously in her room when she saw the Thirteenth Prince carrying He Yue back. She was startled: "What happened to you? Did Yi Duli hit you?"

He was furious as soon as he finished speaking, and wished he could rush out immediately to teach Iduli a lesson.

Heyue glared at Thirteen, making him put her down, and stepped forward to hug Sixth Sister: "It's alright, he wouldn't dare do anything to me. If it weren't for the fact that he's my brother-in-law, I would make sure he can never touch a woman again today!"

Upon learning that she was alright, Yan Yue was relieved. But after hearing what she said, she was both amused and exasperated: "Your temper is too fierce! You just started hitting me without warning!"

"In short, I won't let him off easily!" He Yue snorted coldly, and she wasn't joking.

Yan Yue felt a surge of warmth in her heart, her eyes reddened, and she pinched He Yue's cheek, laughing: "It's good to have you as my sister. I'm quite happy that you would do anything for me. However, you don't need to stand up for me. I will not forgive him."

He Yue understood Sixth Sister, but at that time there was no such thing as divorce. Such things were taken for granted in ancient times. The man did nothing wrong. What Yi Duli did wrong was that he did not explain to Sixth Sister after the incident, nor did he comfort her. He even hit Sixth Sister.

Even if she doesn't forgive, Sixth Sister will still have to go back, and Heyue doesn't know how to help Sixth Sister.

Thirteen spoke up cautiously from the side: "Heyue, don't do it yourself anymore. I will teach him a lesson for you. If you are still angry, I can order Yiduli to abort the child and drive away the concubine. I will never let your sixth sister suffer any injustice."

Seeing Yan Yue holding He Yue's hand, I wish I could remove those eyesore hands.

She was especially annoyed that Yiduli had dared to take advantage of Heyue earlier.

He Yue was speechless, then immediately warned, "Don't be ridiculous! You're not allowed to get involved in this!"

If that were to happen, the relationship between Sixth Sister and Yiduli would probably never be repaired.

He Yue hopes that even if Sixth Sister has to go back in the future, she will be well and will not be bullied by Yi Duli again.

Thirteen blinked innocently. What did he say wrong?

"Sixth Sister, what do you want to do with that concubine?" Heyue asked tentatively, pulling Yanyue's hand as they sat on the daybed in the west side room.

There must be a solution to this matter. In Heyue's heart, that concubine cannot be allowed to live. She dared to bully Sixth Sister like this, so she should be prepared to pay the price.

Although the child is innocent, they shouldn't be let off so easily.

If she had to get rid of the child, Heyue wouldn't mind doing it herself, but she was afraid that Yiduli would hate her sixth sister from then on.
