Chapter 298 Hongshi

When Honghui died, Hongshi had just been born. Hongshi was Li's son. It's likely that the Fourth Princess Consort harbored resentment about this, so how could she truly like him?

Unfortunately, Prince Yong's only two sons were both born to Lady Li, and one of them was frail and sickly from childhood, so he could only place his hopes on Hongshi.

Suddenly, a childish voice came from the east side room: "Are these Aunt Thirteen's younger brother and sister?"

It was Hongshi's voice.

He didn't leave.

Fortunately, Hailan and Chun Ya were there, so they weren't worried about what Hongshi, a mere child, might do, and Heyue didn't interfere.

"This child is always mischievous, and Hongyun has been ill for many years. It's rare for him to have a younger brother or sister. They can play together in the future," the Fourth Princess Consort chuckled.

He Yue had no objections; the two families would always have to visit each other, and the children would eventually play together.

“Waaah…” A baby’s loud cry suddenly came from the east side room, startling Heyue and also changing the expression of the Fourth Princess.

Not knowing what had happened, Heyue quickly got up and walked over.

Because of Tongxuan's loud crying, Hongchang was also woken up and started crying with his little mouth pursed, even louder than Tongxuan's.

The wet nurse was so startled by this sudden turn of events that she forgot to react.

Just now, Hongshi wanted to see his two younger siblings. Hailan and Chunya were reluctant to stop him because of their status, and they thought he was just a child who wouldn't hurt the two young masters. Who knew that this third prince was so strong that he made the little princess cry.

The two of them were stunned for a moment, and only panicked when they saw Heyue and the Fourth Prince's wife rushing over.

When Heyue saw the bruise on Tongxuan's face, she felt heartbroken and also felt a bit annoyed with Hongshi. Why did Hongshi use so much force?

Tongxuan, who is usually quiet, well-behaved, and never cries or makes a fuss, was crying so hard that her face was red and she was almost out of breath. She must have been in a lot of pain.

Just as Heyue was about to pick up Tongxuan to comfort her, someone strode up from behind and snatched Tongxuan into their arms.
