Chapter 57 Mistaken Identity

The servant nodded and left, while the boy couldn't help but prick up his ears and listen intently to the sounds coming from next door.

But there was no sound from the other end. After listening for a while, the boy lowered his eyes in disappointment.

"Fourth Brother, what do you think she's doing here?" the boy whispered to the young man opposite him.

These two were none other than the Fourth Prince and the Thirteenth Prince. They had originally come here to drink tea and chat when they unexpectedly heard a familiar, clear voice.

The Thirteenth Prince hadn't seen that girl for a long time. He heard from his Fourth Sister-in-law that the girl had a dispute with Consort Li in his Fourth Prince's household, which made the Fourth Prince angry, and the girl never went there again.

Fourth Brother had no explanation for this. He had thought that Fourth Brother liked that girl very much, but who would have thought that such a thing would happen.

The Thirteenth Prince was somewhat pleased, finally getting rid of that girl, and the Fourth Prince was all by himself again, but he also felt a strange sense of loss.

But what he was more curious about now was why that girl was here, and who was the other person she was talking to?

The Fourth Prince lowered his eyes, remained silent, and quietly drank his tea.

Upon seeing this, the Thirteenth Prince opened his eyes wide with curiosity, secretly marveling at how quickly his Fourth Brother's attitude had changed.

Soon the servant who had gone out returned and whispered something in the Thirteenth Prince's ear.

The Thirteenth Prince waved for him to leave, and slightly pursed his lips: "I heard she came here with a man and a woman. The man's voice sounds like her cousin, Yiduli, and the other one must be her sister. She probably came out to play because she was bored at home." The Thirteenth Prince didn't seem to care much and silently drank his tea.

Just then, the sound of voices came from the private room next door.

"Hey, why aren't you here yet? What are you two playing at? Who do you want to see?" It was Zhao Jiayan's voice, sounding quite impatient.

The thirteenth prince paused, seeing someone? Although he tried his best not to care, his ears couldn't help but perk up.

"If you're impatient, you can go play somewhere else first," came Ituri's indifferent voice.

"Hmph, don't even think about kicking me out. Today I'll see what tricks you're up to!"

Next door, Yi Duli sighed helplessly. Seeing Yan Yue's angry yet resolute expression, he had no choice but to get up and leave.

Yan Yue stood up, watching his retreating figure, and looked blankly at He Yue: "Did I make him leave?"

He Yue sighed. How could she not understand? Yi Duli probably intended to discourage Sixth Sister by sending someone later. Who knew that Sixth Sister, who was so dense, didn't understand at all? Originally, she thought Sixth Sister would be impatient, but she insisted on staying.

Having no other choice, Ituri went downstairs and sent someone over.

Less than fifteen minutes later, Itori entered again, followed by three women of different ages and a young man.

Two of the girls were slightly younger, around thirteen or fourteen years old. One was pretty and charming, with a gentle temperament, and seemed to come from a decent family. The other, though dressed cleanly, had her eyes lowered and looked somewhat timid and weak, exuding a petty air.

The last woman was slightly older, around seventeen or eighteen years old. Her appearance... well, a little gaudy. Unlike the other two who were more proper, she looked up and sized up Heyue and Yanyue with a slightly upturned eyebrow, exuding a seductive charm.

After bringing the three women in, the young man quietly left and closed the door.

Looking at the three women in front of her, especially the last one, He Yue suddenly regretted bringing her sixth sister along.

Looking at Yiduli, she saw that his brows were furrowed so tightly that he looked as if he wanted to trap a fly. When he met Heyue's gaze, he glared at her fiercely.

He Yue felt a little guilty and gave a dry laugh. She then looked at Sixth Sister, only to see Sixth Sister looking up and down at the three unfamiliar women with curious eyes, her eyes full of confusion: "Who are they? Are they the ones you want to see?"

He Yue didn't know what to say, so she simply didn't answer.

The gaudy-looking woman's eyes lit up when she saw the two exquisitely dressed, pretty girls before her. She stepped forward with a smile, saying, "May I ask what business you two ladies have with me? Men come to us for pleasure, and they want money. If you two ladies..."

Before she could finish speaking, she was interrupted by a loud cough, and the woman turned around to look at the boy who had spoken with displeasure.

Suddenly, the woman remembered that the young man had given her silver and told her to keep quiet, so she awkwardly shut her mouth and returned to her original spot.

"Seventh Sister, what is she saying?" Yan Yue felt like her brain wasn't working properly. The woman in front of her looked so vulgar and spoke in a rather undignified manner, which disgusted her from the bottom of her heart. But why couldn't she understand what she was saying?

"Ahem!" He Yue coughed. What did she mean by that? Her sixth sister was so innocent, but she was still just a child herself. How could she explain it to her?

"I...I don't know either." Having no other option, she could only pretend not to understand, looking at Itori as if asking him to explain.

Iduli's face had turned as black as charcoal, so he didn't care about her at all. He just kept his lips tightly pursed.

He Yue sighed. Now, the only thing to do was to get rid of this woman as soon as possible, otherwise, who knew what she might say.

Now that she was certain the woman wasn't her sister, she didn't care.

"Cousin, please have someone take her away," He Yue said with a fawning smile.

Sigh, she asked for help, only to be angered by the person who offered it. Was it easy for her?

Ittori's brow furrowed, and he immediately gestured to the woman.

The woman pursed her lips slightly, leaving behind a "What is it?" before swaying her hips and leaving the room.

After seeing this person off, Heyue finally breathed a sigh of relief and turned her gaze to the remaining two.

"What are your names?" Heyue tried to look at them intently, like a curious child.
